Casey vs. Coffee

I'm sure we will be seeing a lot of "Casey v. xxx" in the near future but I've got to admit something. I wake up and hit a few sites first thing rather than stumble into the kitchen for some tea or coffee. It doesn't help that we've been locked in the worst and longest cold spell in decades. Not like the hard freeze of '97 that killed citrus trees but near every night in the 30s and damn few days that make 70. So, instead of taking the long trip to other end of my classic California rambling ranch I just get the ole' heart a'pumpin' with the latest outrage.

So, how many of you are willing to admit to an innocent "habit?"

Um, I listen to Kylie Minogue. Does that count?

Teeny bopper Kylie or eletronica/club Kylie? There's a difference, you know?

I spend my mornings wondering if anyone else has died of drinking too much water while trying to win a Wii... and then having the family sue both Nintendo and Justin Timberlake. Yeah, figure it out.

Oh yeah, I also check if any new entries have hit IAFF.

Club Kylie, of course, even though I am old enough to remember teeny-bopper Kylie...

  4. Yeah, I'm definitely a blog addict. Casey displaced Ben Jones' website in my daily blog rounds. Ben Jones the blogger is many orders of magnitude better than Casey the blogger, but Casey the trainwreck is irresistible.

  7. Looking at this morning's IAFF, I see this which appears to be from Casey's realtor:

" Burdett: Unfortunately I will be unable to take this listing. I just lost my assistant and can not take on another Short Sale Listing at this time, but I can refer you to some very competent agents that may be able to handle that project at this time. "

Looks like our antagonist may have burned a bridge with his last post.

So Casey is not only his usual clueless self, he is also getting defensive. He reminds me of a kid who just got yelled at for not cleaning his room.

    As for an embarrasing habit...

When I am very bored and have nothing to do...I sometimes watch wrestling.

    Hey Uncle Robert,

It was pointed that my email address was in that letter I posted from Casey (form the last post)and suggested that I ask you to remove it. Would you be so kind?

You wouldn't get your money's worth. He'd be literally run out of Trump Tower on a rail at the end of the first episode.

Actually, that might be worth $30.

    Robert Coté and company,
I found time to watch the whole RK & CS video this weekend...talk about getting the old ticker pumping! I was so effing livid by the end of it I just about punched my computer!

Casey had no clue, NO CLUE, what he was getting into from the very beginning.
-RK asked him about taxes, CS had no response!
-RK called CS the greater fool and he just laughed!

I know I'm preaching to the choir here but just had to vent.

Thanks again for letting us get our fix here. Keep the ads up!

This whole thing has been like watching a train wreck. So much so that I even tracked down your hilarious blog. I salute your sleuthing but have a question...

Am I the only one who sent a copy of his blog link to the Sacramento DA's fraud department? (Sorry to be a killjoy but he kept going on & on about his illegal deals). Don't you think by now some agency would have picked him up? I mean...all the clues & leads are there. It would probably take an intern two days to pull all the paper & connect the dots, dontcha think?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Anonymous@2:16:

Most likely, the authorities are looking into Casey but haven't moved yet because nobody (except perhaps the Dallas lender) has suffered any losses yet. After the houses have foreclosed and been sold at a loss, it'll be much easier to put a dollar amount on the fraud and make the charges stick.

Are we limited to confessing only pre-coffee habits? Because coffee for me is such an unbreakable habit that NOTHING comes before coffee.

But CS has suckered me in. I ought to know better, and I definitely more important things to do... like shovel snow! Mr. Coté, our HIGH today was 24, so while I have sympathy for the plants and critters who must remain outside, it is hard to feel sorry for those who can take refuge.

Apart from IAFF and now, exurban nation, I am dooce devotee. Well, I quit cigarettes, and with time, I will be able to quit IAFF.

  19. At the risk of being labeled old fart or codger I remember the S&L crisis. T'were nutin' but a young thang at the time but I remember. Dozens or more of these shuttered institutions insisted that they could have worked out their problems if given a little time. Turns out in hindsight, yes, several could have survived and made good. So, now we have regulatory agencies reluctant to pull the trigger. Besides, they are probably a lot like us. They can't wait for the next admission or co-conspirator implication.

I am a news junkie and I have been since I was a kid. I started reading the newspaper everyday when I was 5.

I get up go to the gym (most days) and then proceed to annoy the $hit out of my wife by reading 20-30 blog sites and several newspapers (online) - THEN have some coffee and read the local rag.

    Did I share too much??

I start up around 3am. While waiting for, and starting on the daily pot of coffee I generally visit with Robert & his astute friends. And come back for breaks...

  26. Galina looks to be about the same age as Casey's little sister. Above average looks.

Casey's sisters are both quite attractive. What looks vacant and douchbaggy on Casey merely looks vacant and doll-like on the Serin girls.

Might I propose a Photoshop contest? The topic -- everyone's favorite 24-year-old hustler, of course.

Anything from switching his and Galina's heads on their vacation pic, to shots of CS enjoying a sweet Jamba Juice with his last five bucks, to CS and his cellmate cuddling. heh. If anyone wants to, feel free to propose this idea at the IAFF blog itself.

from the rear, it appears galina lacks "tone". I bet she is all mushy and saggy, and pale. I honestly would NOT look at her twice if I saw her.
    definite future babushka.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Anonymous12:20 AM

props to anon. galina looks kinda chunky. Better lay off the sweet deals, and stick to the jamba juice, honey.

then, again, all those women have "future babushka"

    ReplyDelete
  34. Anonymous12:36 AM

I think she is totally hot even if she is a bit soft

    ReplyDelete
  35. Anonymous2:05 AM

Saggy guys? C'mon. Babushka of the future, sure, but i would NOT throw her out of bed.

That ass doesn't look so bad. I've seen MUCH worse in this world (in this age of girls wearing less and less). Funny, look at the shot of her bending down at the fridge. Look at her frame, yes she is very "hippy" but the top is very petite. I like a little arse to grab onto and Galina has just enough!

More pictures please. Just one question. Who's mother is that in the family shot?

Also: She is apparently calling the shots on repairs here. Could we venture a guess she is not as innocent as Casey says she is? I mean really, I would think this could be shown as evidence of her complicity in this. If she isn't involved, why is she at these locations looking so involved?

    ReplyDelete

Anybody notice Casey looks like he could be cast as a caveman in the Geico commercial?

He's perfect. Low forehead, unibrow and lots of hair. Kewlness!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Anonymous3:10 AM

yeah DeRoos, it does look like Galina is calling shots. im convinced casey serin is further lying on her involvement...

    ReplyDelete
  38. Anonymous6:35 AM

It would be consistent that Galina was calling the shots.
I've read recently that the Stock market "investors" in 1998-2001 was a male phenomenon but the housing bubble "investors" were women. I mean the core element, not the wild, fraudulent ones - the ones who "did their homework" -who paid attention to Motley Fool, thestreet.com and so on in those days.

Anecdotally, my female cousin in San Luis Obispo, CA is the one in her family who'd doing the real-estate investment; when friends mention family in trouble, its usually the wife who's bought the house that's in trouble.

Oh my god! Some days it doesn't even reach 70? Oh how hard it must be for you! Boo hoo. How do you live like that?

LOL. Meanwhile, in Pennsylvania, where I am, some days it doesn't even reach *30*.

Its so cold up here, some days I have to kill a Tan Tan, and cut it open and stick my hands in her guts to warm them up enough to get my car unlocked.

And I thought they smelled bad ... on the outside!

  46. icup,
you don't understand hardship. I had to put on loafers to go get the newspaper. It was too cold to go out unshod unlike the other 350 days of the year when a bathrobe and bare feet are du rigeur. Of course it doesn't help that my driveway is 300 feet long. Ahh the sacrafices we make...
