Habitat for Humanity is the winner here and the Haterz™ should feel proud. Various emails and other contacts tell me this is just the tip of the iceberg but so far:Thse are just the "a donation has been made" I've gotten.

ReplyDeleteSnowflake keeps going on about the bank refusing the $220 offer, but in this case, someone would have to pay the realtor -- I assume that would be the bank, so really, the offer was $220k - 6% = $206.8
Now, the bank has sold the property for $199k. Would there be any commissions that the bank would have to pay to make this sale?

For downloads of the mp3 he makes 4 cents. I doubt he makes much more for listeners. Web advertising just isn't profitable enough to offer big bucks

ReplyDeleteIf I may soapbox for a moment, giving money is great, but HFH can use your sweat, too. If you can swing a hammer, please get out there and help. Also, many regional HFH's take donations of other kinds, such as left over building supplies and even appliances and fixtures.
