Here is the latest from MedTech which you all subscribe:
Butterfly Network’s ultrasound-on-a-chip technology snagged the FDA nod for 13 applications, the broadest clearance to date for an ultrasound transducer. The pocket-size transducer, which plugs into an iPhone, would expand the availability of diagnostic ultrasound imaging.
Butterfly Network’s iQ device uses its ultrasound-on-a-chip technology, which integrates the capabilities of the three typical ultrasound probes into a single 2D matrix array comprised of thousands of microelectromechanical systems, the company said. This array is overlaid on an integrated circuit with electronics like those found in high-performance ultrasound systems.
Look familiar?

I wish I understood this.
ReplyDeleteIn a few years doctors will be carrying scanners that look into people on a routine basis.
ReplyDeleteYou understand this. It is just coming faster. When I saw my heart valves in real time two years ago I just suspended any "in a few years" time frames.
Three really great party of this will be getting this technology into the less advanced places in the world. Another nice aspect is that by necessity, it'll have to run at pet levels that can be provided by simple solar panel chargers
DeletePart... Power... DYAC
DeleteOk, how long will it take for computers to come alive?
ReplyDeleteHave you read Valentina.
Watson emulates successfully. 5 minus years for passing the Alan Turing test. And that's Turing computable systems. Fuzzy and adaptive are going to be contributions. THIS IS THE VOICE OF COLOSSUS... THIS IS THE VOICE OF WORLD CONTROL..
ReplyDeleteBah, why would it want to have anything g to go with iinferior us.
ReplyDeletePhone finally fixed by AT&T. After a week.
ReplyDeleteNo more ₽erC0$et posts? That would be a disappointment.
ReplyDeleteWhy did you think there would be?
DeleteOur first 2 calls were telephone solisitors.
ReplyDeleteFires all put out?
ReplyDeleteFires are all "contained." Some won't be out for weeks.
ReplyDeleteThe percoset comment was about the damn you autocorrect feature of the iphone that has gotten us all when commenting.
Sometimes this strikes even with quite ordinary words.
ReplyDeleteQuestion I have some At&t. It has a juicy dividend. But I hate it. It's been in my family for 120 years. Should I sell it?
Some of my families’ AT&T stems from some shares Mr Bell gave my grandfather for helping on a project. I cannot see where selling at any time could have ever beaten holding on a multi decades scale.
DeleteThx. I'll take your advice.
DeleteGood Morning!
ReplyDeleteAuto correct will soon become thought correct.
I just bought a Bluetooth scanner for OBDII. Cheap, a lot of real live information even on my old 99 truck. Big screen on my I pad, don't need glasses to scan praphs while driving. Cell phone for on the road emergency. Tomorrow is now today so what is coming will be almost unbelievable.
So cool. I just web searched for my latest vehicle problem. The air shocks on the now returning Expedition totally collapsed. Driving 409 miles with no rear suspension at 80mph was brutal. Looked under the front bumper. Disconnected the switch and jumped the hot wire. The compressor worked and I heard the leak. $3.44 at Harbor Freight for mechanic’s stethoscope and locates the leak. I gave no idea how long and expensive this would have been without the internet. A Bluetooth OBD II module is now on my Christmas list.
DeleteThought correct is here. Those of us who have spent their entire lives outside the defined boxes have always seen it. Sometimes even getting lower grades for accidentally giving the right answer when we forget there was an expected answer.
ReplyDeleteIt used to not bother me as being right was enough but now with Google actively promoting their interests and options as fact it has gone bad.
Blue Driver is the brand I bought and what sold me was You tube review and Amazon has sold over 2400 of them. I think of all the money I spent on Scanners and they where like looking through a key hole compared to todays scanners.
ReplyDeleteI used to own ATT stock and sold it when I got rid of the last of the services they provide. Cell is thru VZ, netflix replaced cable, and ISP is google fiber. I hated them as a company and decided I didn't want to own stock in a company I didn't like to use personally.
ReplyDeleteI prefer to own good stocks of good companies. That list is currently zero. Apple almost. CIM close. Ford is the good company bad stock. GE currently joining them.
ReplyDeleteAnd home depot. Should they ever become a good stock I will buy them. I just found out Office Depot is mean to it's employees and over works them.
ReplyDeleteAnd need to hire at least 4 more people at this particular store.
ReplyDeleteNot quite sure what function an Office Depot serves in the century.
ReplyDeleteCan make cheap copies. Can buy stuff you need right away. Ink cartridges. Can just look arouND at stuff and see what's out there
Delete4+ decades VZ (GTE) all dividend reinvested. I suck at stock picks. Funds are doing very well this year. Probably buy some more after the New Years poorfolio review. Overdue for a correction IMO. End of year sell off might be interesting. What do I know? Spin the wheel Vanna! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat's next electronic paper clips? Oh wait, Never mind, :)
ReplyDeleteElectronic paper clips are also going away. Links to useful information are disappearing at a frightening clip. Worse. Trying to find the same information again is likely to trigger red flags. A bunch of stuff I purged in past decades because it would all be on the net is now no longer available at all.
ReplyDeleteI just bought a physical book. First in many years. Expect a post on these topics
If you're preparing for teotwawki, don't buy electronic books as references...
DeleteI liked books untIL there got to be so many they were pushing me out of my house. Almost.
DeleteThe Demos did real well in the elections.
DeleteI thought not being able to find things that I read yesterday was my fault.
DeleteWhen in fact it's the fault of the P€®¢o$€t
DeleteExcellent. How long did it take you to do that?
DeleteLOL!
ReplyDeleteTen day forecast. 74/54 scattered morning clouds and light coastal fog. Sometimes boring is okay.
ReplyDeleteElection comments?
ReplyDeleteIt's over
DeleteAnd Trump won
DeleteAn illusory victory.
DeleteMainers want the expanded Ocare.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning!
ReplyDeleteSimple, get rid of Obummercare and let their state pick up the tab for what they want and can afford.
What if I pay taxes in one state and get health care in another?
ReplyDeleteThat'll learn ya
DeleteNo different then before Obummercare. They pay at point of service. It cost them more and it is part of the premium. Shifting expense is all some states want and in the end it doesn't work, just like any Ponzi scam.
ReplyDeleteGood moring. Dilbert stopped in on the previous thread. Hilarious as usual.
ReplyDeleteNew post that is sure to generate conversation.
