Reactivating the Blog
Looks like another economic inflection point is forming and unfortunately the blogs I had expected to follow events are remiss. Worse the blogs I expected to be able to go to This blog is a bit of work but with no alternatives I'm up for it.
More on why HCN is broken and more important why we need to keep blogging but for now leave suggestions in the comments. Next: Ghosts of Xmas Past.

Glad you're back.
How you playing this one? I'm still in stocks and accumulating gold.
I am in a mix of stocks an a smallish portion of bond fund as part of a package not choice. The stocks are a mix of "bets," "dividend plays," and keepers. At a low enough basis Apple stock is cash. AT&T has a yield 5x Treasuries. Intel has both growth and a divvy. My bets are all strike outs and home runs. Normal. Gold miners smallish as a contra investment but doing pretty bad due to timing. My only regret stock is D R Horton.
I will be easing out as some rise into the end of the year as mutuals fluff their portfolios for reporting.
Glad to have you back!
Anxiously waiting for you to expand on your "economic inflection point" thinking.
Hey there TJ.
I will make a post on inflection points. Until then:
