Jobs per Working Age Population
Turns out today's "most full time jobs since 2008" ain't all that:
And as long as the Hoocoodanode commentariat favors the current crapshow the blog has become they won't see this there.
13!! Well, assuming you didn't already factor me in to your estimate, lol. Sigh.
You want to know what the chart really means for me?
I like how it is so flat. No ups and downs at all, especially lately. It can mean only one thing.
The Fed really has permanently put an end to recessions! Woohoo!!
And since they have, I want to tell you about a unique opportunity to invest in Amway timeshares. Multi-level marketing *and* real estate all in the same package? You cannot lose! They just aren't making any more Amway land! Buy now or be priced out forever!! ;)
Yes. The ratio is then number of full time jobs per working age population so they both move together. And I don't need to tell you the now full time jobs are not the same quality as they were then.
It is interesting that downturns presage recession.
shows work week hours floating around 40- 42 Hrs. Standard of 40 hours was still in effect.
Also found current BLS B-2 show 34.6 I can't find the standard for today's full time employment. I remember it being 35Hrs I read some where. If so the reality is way off for me.

Nice, back living in the 80's.
The sheeple are grazing up the fodder put before them.
The good news is everyone who sees this graph understands it. The bad news, that's about a dozen people.

Is this chart adjusted for population growth?

The chart shows the loss of manufacturing jobs "replaced" with service jobs. Tofuployment.
I found This at BLS
