Youtube is getting increasingly less useful and exponentially more annoying. For all the evil creeping in via google monetization schemes there are still gems in the manure pile.

One reason the globe goes quieter towards the end is because the US knows pretty much everything that can be uncovered by live testing and has switched to computer simulations. I suspect the methods have been "adopted" by the Russians and Chinese as well.
