October 3rd Coolest on Record

The Bastards can't even bring themselves to say "coldest" opting instead for "coolest." Excerpt:
The October 2009 average temperature for the contiguous United States was the third coolest on record for that month according to NOAA’s State of the Climate report issued today. Based on data going back to 1895, the monthly National Climatic Data Center analysis is part of the suite of climate services provided by NOAA.

The average October temperature of 50.8 degrees F was 4.0 degrees F below the 20th Century average. Preliminary data also reveals this was the wettest October on record with average precipitation across the contiguous United States reaching 4.15 inches, 2.04 inches above the 1901-2000 average.

This puts a chill into the Copenhagen party scheduled next month.

Global warming? Did we say that? What we meant was climate change. That should cover everything.

And what about world atmospheric/ international temperatures? It's called global warming not America warming.

In an interesting tinfoil development lots of the Russian more northern sensor sites are being removed from the pool used to calculate global temperature.

So... you don't think weather patterns are changing?

The GW talk reminds me of the acid rain and ozone hole fear mongering of the 80s.

Oh that pic has a beautiful late 80s-early 90s look to it.

NASA started using "coolest" in place of "coldest" last year in the face of record low worldwide temps, about the time Dr. James Hansen and crew were caught lying.

Hansen isn't quite smart enough to be Dr. Robert Stadler; he's more in the mold of Floyd Ferris.

Don't ever mistake weather for climate.
