Employment Then And Now

The first image is from a comic book ad c. 1963. The second this week comes the Atlanta Fed report. When people try to say this is just a recession you can show them this graph.

To work part time you FIRST have to find a job......

Oh and does snowflake's project count as full time of part time job?

A (Borrowed) Room With A View

Wow, nice photo-op Anita...did you graduate from the school of Casey Serin?? Ahhh...all joking aside, I am very sorry to hear that she lost her $110 and hour job and two homes, and can no longer afford impromptu pedicures and massages. Due tell us - how do you get through the day?

I suggested possibly taking her pedicure allowance and putting that money towards a rainy day fund, or maybe lowering her standards and taking a "blue collar" job until she can get back into sweet easy passive consulting income. Well, I got the big smack down for this on the message board (yeah, some of those "negative" comments are mine).

I believe that Casey qualifies as a marginally attached worker.

Panning for gold makes a comeback in bad economy

Casey is ahead of the curve, you myopic dolts

I'm not sure anybody ever asserted that Casey was behind the curve. In matter of fact, he was well ahead of the curve on both mortgage fraud, the ensuing foreclosures, and unmanageable consumer debt.

Casey may very well be ahead of the curve; it's just that it's a curve that not many of us want to be on.

Has Casey 'found himself' in a religion yet? He seems ripe for the picking.

As for the island thing, did Casey just get around to renting The Beach?

Casey isn't religious, pious, nor spiritual at heart. He is a con-artist through and through, albeit one who is completely inept.

He merely uses "church" and religion as a platform for potential affinity fraud.

No self respecting cult would want him. Why have followers you have to support? They want followers who will work for the cult and/or provide financial support. Casey is a liability.
