I'm not sure what a jackalope has to do with anything, but I saw Trump/Kiyosaki's "Why we want you to be rich" book at the library, so I gave it a quick read. I think there's a 10-page book struggling to get out of it; it's extremely repetitive and padded, and short on actual content. There's a lot of discussion of why they wrote the book, and why they're both great guys, and random autobiographical information.
The book has a "Thomas Friedman lite" discussion of the problems facing America (e.g. globalization, debt, oil prices, global warming), and the solution turns out to be for you to get rich; it's almost a moral obligation. The underlying problem of America is a lack of financial education, which leads to passive investors who invest in mutual funds, which are like junk food. They are bad because the mutual fund keeps 80% of the profits and they aren't transparent, and you have no control (risk = lack of control). The big mistake of uninformed passive investors is believing that it's good to live below your means, pay off credit cards, invest in a 401(k) and diversified mutual funds, and not waste money on overpriced coffee. Instead you should increase your means and become an active investor. Kiyosaki mentions many times his gold mines and oil companies in China and other countries, but is annoyingly short on details.
The book shows Kiyosaki's asset/liability/profit/loss diagram, and his employee/big-business/self-employed/investor cashflow quadrant many, many times. For details, you're referred to his other books or the cashflow game.
They end the book with a discussion of why real estate and network marketing (MLM) are good investment strategies.
Overall, I consider the book a waste of time. It was interesting, though, to see how much of Casey's viewpoint comes directly from Kiyosaki.
they have some good points, like the idea that inflation will eat virtually all of us alive. For example, the best most people can hope to do with investing is to maintain the purchasing power of their savings.
For example, you would have to be up 43% NET (after taxes and fees) since 2001 to keep up with the "true" inflation. To keep up with "true" rate of inflation, you need about 10% NET return. And remember, that is to KEEP UP, not "get ahead".
looking at LEND I think it's a good short right now. the chart certainly indicates it. barring any more 'good' news for it there is a gap at just under 7.
Sorry to keep coming back to the Wikipedia thing. It has become somewhat of an obsession for me. I think it's gonna be toast and then Casey will have won. We need to find a way to make sure that anyone doing due dilligence on a deal with Casey knows what their getting in a nice compact package without having to sift through biased comments or 28,000 words of Casey's upswing copy. Unfortunately he may have won this battle. Smug little prick somehow got the Wikinazis on his side.
Yeah, it's friggen bullshit, huh Rob? If only we had the same entrepreneurial spirit as our boy Casey. We could actually be napping right now rather than acquiring the income necessary to pay our bills and live life free of debt and foreclosures.
One question...is this one of his "big media" opportunities that Nigel was pimping on Casey's behalf? If so, this is nothing and I'd be shocked if anybody called to discuss their problems. Seems to me he wants to take advantage of people who are down now.

Search for “Casey Serin” in your iTunes software to find it.
What specific topics do you want to hear about?
Leave me some questions and ideas in the comments.
Some of the Wiki editors are doing some serious "positive spin by omission" and damage control on Casey's article -- removing the link to his webcam video, which could not have come from a better source (Casey himself), is ridiculous.
It's not like they're making him out to be a victim or anything, but it's like writing about Hitler -- "a former German chancellor with allegedly distasteful ideas about eugenics." :-p
The client who just left apologized for not bringing a bottle of wine seeing as he was imposing and all. Damn, that sounds like a good idea. I bet there's some Berringer in the fridge just right for these lazy 75 degree and sunny afternoons. Might even drop an ice cube in the plastic cup and start a flame war amongst the purists that are lurking.
American Heritage Dictionary - Cite This Source web·cast (wěb'kāst') Pronunciation Key n. A broadcast of an event or a recording of an event over the World Wide Web: a webcast of the solar eclipse.
Y'all are missing the point here, about KC's upcoming podcast/webcast/whatever.
The whole purpose of this latest shenanigan is to get folks on the phone, ask questions, and then give hime a chance to repeat, over and over again:
"I never had any criminal intent in my Real Estate purchases. I got caught in a downturn in the market. When I got those loans, I fully intended to repay them. So now I am stuck. That does not make me a criminal: instead, it's just bad luck, and bad timing."
Or similar words. Something like that. TRUST ME - he'll say that over and over again.
Why he's doing this is beyond my comprehension. He's not "quick enough on the draw" to evade Hard Questions about his past activities. And what he podcasts/webcasts/broadcasts out over the Internet can only be used against him.
Another example of F*cktard in action.
Overall, I am speechless (which doesn't jibe with this rant).
The whole purpose of this latest shenanigan is to get folks on the phone, ask questions, ++++++= Yes to get other people facing forclosure on the phone BUT/and then to send the short sales (leads) to his 'investors'.
For sure he is generating leads, people who are desperate to get out of forclosure, imo.
Greg Swan is a Buyer Broker now and Nigel can do the finance, maybe.
All of the above is only my deductive reasoning at work, not a fact, just an opine. IW
The underlying problem of America is a lack of financial education, which leads to passive investors who invest in mutual funds, which are like junk food. They are bad because the mutual fund keeps 80% of the profits and they aren't transparent, and you have no control (risk = lack of control).
I don't know if you are being satirical here or this is what you really believe or it is an effective quote from the book, but it is not true. Mutual funds are required to show their fee structure (Front load, back load, management fees, 12b1 fees etc) by law. When in a 401k/profit share, the funds are also required to show any money paid back to the 401k/profit share holding company. NOTE: I used to be treasurer on an investment partnership and a relative works as a corporate auditor.. this is from experience (doing the paperwork definitely gives you 'experience').
For example, you would have to be up 43% NET (after taxes and fees) since 2001 to keep up with the "true" inflation. To keep up with "true" rate of inflation, you need about 10% NET return. And remember, that is to KEEP UP, not "get ahead". Incorrect. To keep up with inflation (4% roughly), you have to make 4% adjusted for taxes. If in the 30% tax bracket and have 100% turnover (no LTCG) you are looking at 0.04 * (1.0 / (1.0 - 0.3)) or 0.057 or about 5.7% return. It looks like your number of 43% net was derived from a calculation assuming that the whole principle is taxable on each tax cycle, not the gains. Only the gains are taxed. Proof of equation would be to take the gain and subtract the tax and see what the result is: (0.057 * (1.0 - 0.3)) = 0.04. Note (1.0 - 0.3) is the amount as a percentage, after taxes.
Regarding next Wednesday's webcast, I think there should be a concerted effort among the Haters™ to call in and do any of the following (some of which go without saying):
1) Ask direct questions about what Casey does all day, how he's bringing in income, why he's not following Nigel's 'advise™' to get a job, etc.
2) Casually bring up verboten words during your call, like "Galina", "Yulia", etc... when asking about his living situation. Casually call him "Gaysey" with the first letter being a mix of C and G so he can't immediately discern it ;-)
3) Towards the end of the webcast, after Casey has likely dodged the above questions 30 times, break out the prank calls -- "did you and Nigel get separate beds at the hotel?", [in an effiminate voice], "CAY-THEE, YOU JUST *HAVE* TO LET ME KNOW WHERE YOU GOT THAT FAB-U-LUTH PURTH!!", etc.
Hey all. I've been less obtrusive than usual today (as you've probably noticed from the quiet ease of conversation without untimely Steph interruptions) so I thought I'd pop in and see what's going on. Not mucho it seems.
It's so beautiful today, I've been finding excuses to make facility inspections. Cherry blossoms are all in full splendour.
I see our blossom is in full splendour as well; setting up a webcast so he can give advice on how to be a collosal failure like him. Anyone planning to call in with really difficult questions he will stumble on?
I may have just experienced something stupider than a casey posting.
I was just informed by my supervisor that I need to "show chinks in my armor." I shouldn't always have an answer when asked a question. I should be willing to say, "I don't know, let me figure that out," even if I do have the solution.
Okay - off topic a bit but I thought I might get a wee bit of commiseration from here.
hmm, I really doubt snowflake will be taking "live" calls.
If so, it would rock if Homey DA called in.
Oh, and add "RES-COM" to the list of "questions" to ask. As in "Heard about this great company RES-COM, has lots of sweet deals. Ever hear of them, Casey?"
Oh, and maybe work "Snapdragon" in there a few times...
Snowflake just let this one through... _________________________

And IAFF continues to circle the drain…
It was fun while it lasted but this just proves what a f*cktard you really are.
How about trying to make some money? Don’t want a job…fine, try to get a consulting gig, temp, turn a few tricks…
Have you updated your financials lately? Have you found the missing payment?
You act like a hero & advocate for those in trouble but you are essentially the cause of their trouble by running up prices and then bailing on you obligations and driving down values with your multiple foreclosures.
Why haven’t they arrested you yet?
ASW: Sweet [It just ain’t so.]

Guess he's finished censoring us out, YEAH FOR THE UP SWING!
"I was just informed by my supervisor that I need to "show chinks in my armor." I shouldn't always have an answer when asked a question. I should be willing to say, "I don't know, let me figure that out," even if I do have the solution."
I get that too at every review, I also got "people say you make them feel stupid"
I pointed out that it's my job to have the answers, besides I've been "making people feel stupid" since kindergarten why stop now?
Are there any good voice impersonators out there...Can someone do a good RK voice and call in. Just start off the call with some feel good guru mumbo jumbo like, "It takes great failures to realize great Success." And of course you gotta throw in some insults and call him the greater fool. And snowflake will be eating out of the palm of your hands.
Can this be all snowflake came up with in Utah??? Pretty sad. I hope all the "haters" jam up his phone line.
I gotten the same comments about the "you make people feel stupid" thing. I've also been told I was too "helpful" and should focus on the things I am paid to do. Not that I am a busy body, but I like being involved.
BJ, you asked me: "I don't know if you are being satirical here or this is what you really believe or it is an effective quote from the book, but it is not true.".
Let me clarify that in my discussion of the Trump/Kiyosaki book, I was describing what the book says, not views that I personally believe.
Kiyosaki gives more information on his views (which are not my views) that mutual funds are not transparent and take 80% of the return at Why the Rich Get Richer.
He says, "I rarely invest in mutual funds because of the lack of transparency. I don't know their fees. And I know there are hidden expenses they don't need to disclose to investors...most financial experts don't know how much a mutual fund's fees and expenses are as most funds aren't required to disclose all such charges." Did I mention that this is not what I believe?
I get that too at every review, I also got "people say you make them feel stupid"
I pointed out that it's my job to have the answers, besides I've been "making people feel stupid" since kindergarten why stop now?
Sometimes this will occur when the supervisor is worried about being passed by (they don't always act in your best interest). Best way to handle it; is to be polite, make sure you are candid with your answers, double check your answers if uncertain, do not take a demeaning tone, be helpful with those that don't know (don't be a smart-ass). This way you end up being a knowledge base in the company and one of the last to be laid off (if at all) if/when the company does any downsizing.
I had the same responses from one I was working with/(he was my supervisor for a little while). He thought he finally caught me (because he knew a specialist in that specific field), he called the guy with me there.. and found out I was right. I didn't to the 'I-told-you-so' dance. I was just polite and excused myself. The end result was that he lost considerable credibility with his statements within the company.
PS: Of course, I am also not saying that you need to be someone's carpet..
Ok I just looked at IAFF, a pod-web-murse cast? That's the "good things" that are coming? So Gary thinks that snowflake is gonna pull them in so he can hook 'em?
Let me clarify that in my discussion of the Trump/Kiyosaki book, I was describing what the book says, not views that I personally believe.
Sorry, it was unclear to me... I usually italicize things when quoting or referencing to set the refs/quotes aside from my statements. That is why I prefaced my comment with "I don't know if you are being satirical here or this is what you really believe or it is an effective quote from the book, "
I have posted here before, but I am still too lazy to make an account (Casey IS rubbing off on me).
I mean Casey is a guy who forgets to send in his car insurance bill. He has some adversion to the mail or something?
But his latest attempt at prolonging his fame is a talk program. Want to bet he gets paid for this? He is trying desperately to cash in on his fame, but with no more "sweet" deals his moment in the sun is fading fast. I for one will not be listening. As what news will he come out with? My last two houses will forclosed soon? Like we didn't know that.
He avoids giving details almsot at every turn. Like a trip to Utah was successfull. Successfull at what? He is unable to face the reality of his situation. I guess getting a free wheat grass shot at Jamba Juice is what makes him successfull.
Only thing to save this guy would be a stint in jail. Otherwise he will join the millions of others in debt hell. But with no JOB he may just end up sleeping in his car outside one of the many forclosed houses.
Things going to get better in spring? Yup another myth, as mythical as that creature in the picture.
With stocks also becoming less ideal for investing as well. I have to wonder where the money will run too next? Or is the inevitable inflation soon to begin? Inflation will help sellers get there prices I suppose after 10 years. Can they wait that long?
Best idea yet... someone calls in as "Casey from the Future". Casey receives a call from 'himself' circa 2022, admonishing his past self about the damages his actions have wrought.
He's 40 years old, still living with his parents, balding, still making monthly payments to the IRS, etc.
A lot of juicy™ material here... heh. I think a whole script would be in order :-)
Here's the con, folks, right from TalkShoe's website: Overview
There are two ways to make money using TalkShoe: 1) By becoming a host or 2) By referring a host . You can earn even more by being a host and referring others!
Hosts can easily create their own Talkcasts. The more episodes you create, the more you earn. Why? Every time someone listens to, subscribes to, or downloads your recorded podcast, you earn money. When you refer a host, you get a bonus of 25% of whatever that host earns in the next 12 months. TalkShoe will cut you a check every month or pay you via PayPal - your choice.
Get started by clicking "Apply Now".
Getting Paid
When you host Talkcast episodes, you are paid $5.00 for each of your first ten recorded episodes (to help you get started). You also earn up to $4.00 per 100 listeners (live participants and downloads), depending on the length of your episodes and the number of ads inserted by TalkShoe. Every hour, TalkShoe updates your earnings as a host, as well as your earnings for your referred hosts; you can see the reports online. Once you accrue $5 or more, you receive a monthly payment from TalkShoe.
Fuck you, Casey. No way on God's green earth you make a DIME off me. Take your "podcast" and shove it as far up your ass as it will go, and then twist it 360 degrees.
Re: >>When you host Talkcast episodes, you are paid $5.00 for each of your first ten recorded episodes (to help you get started). You also earn up to $4.00 per 100 listeners<<
This is a desperate, bottom-feeding, hare-brained horseshit way to try to make money. Casey could make better money selling GRIT.
So this is Casey first true step towards GURU hood. Unfortunately he's so underwater and failed so miserably that why in God's name would somebody take tips from him?? Here's a hypothetical exchange:
Q: Hi Casey, Tom from Florida here. Listen I bought at the top of the market here, and got so caught up in the mania that I bet the farm and did committed fraud just like you. Now the bank just foreclosed on one and it looks like they're coming after #2. I'm trying to pay my bills but it's just too much. What's next?
A: Well Tom, I suggest you try and put a short sale package together. But don't worry about getting it to the bank in time, because if they don't get it or accept it - it's all good, your credit's shot anyway and you tried your best to save yourself.
BTW Dawg "Might even drop an ice cube in the plastic cup and start a flame war amongst the purists that are lurking." - For shame. If you need some good wine recos you know where to find 'em.

The above is from talkshoe’s website.
oh, and btw -- to boost casey's audience, it would be appropriate to notify homey d.a. AND cashcall...
Regarding anon with "show chinks in my armor" supervisor, well that's a pretty direct and honest thing for a boss to say and just maybe there's something to it...We might all be a-holes here, but I am quite certain everyone here has a break somewhere in their armor.
I knew there was a talking shoe reference somewhere yesterday or the day before - tend to get these weird thoughts in my head and they only solidify in my sleep/dream life.
I listened to that and laughed at how the stupid ass has no presence on a microphone. How the hell does he think people want to hear a weak voiced, mumbling idiot?
Thanks Shupe. Truly not a know-it-all but I know a lot. After all, the questions cover my J-O-B. Usually people don't know what they're asking for so I ask the proper, probing questions & give them an answer. And whenever I have to say no, 9 times out of 10 I will follow it up with an alternative. I guess my boss will be happier if 9 times out of 10 I just scratch my ass.
Obviously I am getting nothing out of reading iaff. My IQ hasn't dropped, nor have I been able to dumb myself down enough to fail forward.
Re: ∑ ...no presence on a microphone. How ∑ the hell does he think people want to ∑ hear a weak voiced, mumbling idiot?
Gee, if Casey had ever spent time in a genuine college environment, he could have taken a 1-unit course to attain the basics of public speaking and mic technique. I guess that kind of preparation is for "luthiers".
Is it possible Casey will share a cell with Dog the Bouncey Humper? Go with Christ, bra.
OK - now we can have some fun - it appears there is a user in Wikipedia by the name "Sercasey" - doesnt' that sound familiar? I'd suggest that adding comments to:
Hang on: Casey is in "lender ignore mode" or whatever, and he's just given everyone an exact time and phone number he can be reached at? Is there anyway the collections departments at his creditors be informed about this? Because that's just a lovely mental image.
Wells Fargo may find it "inappropriate", but Cashcall would line up about ten collections agents in a row. His "screener" is gonna have a hell of a time either way. This is very Casey-Goes-Learning-Annex. Is there any way this is a live event? How on God's Green Earth are they going to find legitimate people in similar situations (or people who got bamboozled into single bad loans) who actually believe he has decent advice to offer. Or wait - I think I've got it figured out. If you're in a similar situation (nobody who was fraudulent would actually phone in because they're smarter than that presumably) just take whatever advice Casey offers and do the EXACT OPPOSITE.
The Wiki Mod (anetode) who marked Casey's article for deletion had this interesting exchange:
"* Keep, but with MAJOR rewrite. This article looks to be more mudslinging than anything else, with much reliance on blogs as sources. The guy appears to be notable (more properly, notorious), but this article is by no means NPOV. It looks more like a prosecutor building a case against the guy. Realkyhick 23:07, 16 March 2007 (UTC)"
"* Would you say that it is, primarily, an attack page? ˉˉanetode╦╩ 23:27, 16 March 2007 (UTC)"
"* As a regular reader of Serin's blog and of Wikipedia (though rarely a contributor here), I would say the article accurately reflects the public persona Casey Serin has created for himself. He has built a popular blog by continually aggravating his readers, who in turn post sarcastic, hateful, and humorous responses which he allows through moderation. The article here is kind to him, compared to his own blog. 66.75.58.180 00:57, 17 March 2007 (UTC)Lee Reeves"
"* So you're basically saying that Serin is a troll responsible for manufacturing his notoriety. The Wikipedia article is an indulgent response to the baiting, and it is neutral because it rightfully defames him as a self-important flim-flam artist. Are you sure you don't have Wikipedia confused with Encyclopedia Dramatica? ˉˉanetode╦╩ 01:17, 17 March 2007 (UTC)"
"* Yes, you've captured the Casey Serin story exactly. But in just five minutes I found Wikipedia articles on Derek Smart, Paris Hilton, Kato Kaelin, Linda Tripp, and Frenchie Davis, so I'm inclined to believe eliding the Encyclopedia Dramatica is going to be a big job.66.75.58.180 05:35, 17 March 2007 (UTC)" "* Serin is no troll. His real estate dealings are very real. His notoriety stems from the fact that he has brazenly admitted to mortgage fraud, not just on his blog but to major media outlets as well, and has yet to face any consequences. People follow his story to see what will happen to him because many have committed the same offenses on a smaller scale. 205.212.74.143 05:47, 17 March 2007 (UTC)"
Here, however, is what I believe is the real reason this person wants this article deleted:
"Depends, do claims of dubious notoriety trump the BLP/NPOV requirements of neutrality and doing no harm? Plenty of people were talking about Brian Peppers at one point, yet his article was little more than a freakshow. I'd rank Serin's claim of notability somewhere above Peppers' and quite a ways below Paris Hilton's. Hilton, at least, has a widely documented public image and a mainstream modelling/acting career. Serin has a series of technologically adept bloggers who actively maintain a clearly outlined smear campaign. I sure as hell wouldn't want to monitor this article for impropriety if it is kept, I'd go insane after a day's worth of back-and-forth edits! ˉˉanetode╦╩ 04:30, 16 March 2007 (UTC)"
What is zewg.net? If I visit their homepage, it just takes me to a search page. Are they a hosting company? Cache?
I tried looking them up on Wikipedia, but sadly, there was no entry for them. I think Wikipedia needs some quality control, but sadly, I can't help them until they give me admin access.
Zewg.net is a photo Cache site that used to have pics of Galina. Casey set up a sweet deal with them where they took down her pics and he linked them on IAFF. Now he uses them for hosting...now he's a page on Zewg's site. Sad sad sad.
That link from a day or two ago, on the ChloeSevigny blog, is a rich source of Casey Siblinfo. If you saw it, you know it links to sister Margerita's XANGA blog thingy. Before I read her thang, I compulsively archived every last speck of it, because all things that describe Casey's history and circumstance have a way of vanishing once Casey disscovers or remembers they exist.
It appears (by her words, anyway) sister Marg actually works, goes to school, and sets goals such as running in marathons which she actually accomplishes. I would say that gives her a leg up on Casey, but let's not get into incest talk here.
Margerita is a blithering Christer, and barfs the required gosdpew. It's interesting that she has five links to Xanga-buddies on her home page, and one of those friends' pages plays a rap song, prominently featuring muthafukka nigga nigga muthafukka stuff. That page is: http://www.xanga.com/drunknmastr916 and it is the regal domain of "drunknmastr916", who shares sentiments such as , "hey does anyone else watch Lost? that shit got me hooked!".
The Serin family pics are cool. The entire clan looks like nothing so much as a rough-edged Russian mobster family, smiling and ready to keel you. Moose und skvirrel.
The Suprun and Serin families uncomfortably resemble each other. Cousins? Will the offspring of Casey and Galina be an army of six-foot-tall radioactive Harlequin Fetuses, bloodthirsty and unstoppable as they storm the countryside engaging in ever-more-petty scams?
Some choice Margisms:
I am a lot happier with xanga. I know that not many people go on xanga but the few that do are my true pals and I would like to keep it that way... no creepy people here!
Hah. You do not account for creepy Casey stalkers with a spare Saturday afternoon, such as Yorz Trooley.
My heart goes out to the those who are lost. I used to judge those who look a little different or those who would do things I do not approve of or the ones who are of a different belief. It was so easy for me to take one look at someone and say, "they are a sinner I want nothing to do with them." Then I got to know a one of them and found that underneath their sin there is so much more. I found that they are amazing people.
What a gods damn relief. She don't judge the likes uh me no mo.
I don't want to write to some guy in Texas and in Germany, not even New York or Turkey. I mean what is the point? To get to know someone online? And then what? No... I am not down with that. It is just a big waste of time to try to be friends with all this people online.
A sentiment with which I agree! The remnants of a brutish, slavic brogue with which I am pointlessly amused!
Another person that I highly admire and respect is my uncle Paul, he reminds me of Paul in the Bible.
I saw his pitcher. He reminds me more of Paul from the Beatles.
Well, I was spending sometime with God this morning; you know reading my Bible and praying! It amazes me so much how he loves us though we are stupid sinful idiots!
Praise allah.
"'I will do as much as I can,' says one. Any fool can do that. He that believes in Christ does what he can not do, attempts the impossible and preforms it."
So that's the thinking that drives Casey!
God has been teaching me that His grace alone is truly enought. God resentley said no to something I have been asking Him for years, but He gently told me that His grace is enough! Though I was really hurt and questioned God why He would deny my long prayed for request; God began to give me total peace and comfort and love
So, "God" is youngster slang for heroin these days?
My friends took me out to Chevey's on the river and I had a Margarita for a Margarita!
Sinner! I judge ye.
The following night...We had a girls night out! You know... dressed up a little... curled the hair... wore some heels! Went out to dinner and had another Margarita
Clearly, she is damned.
it was a fun night, I am so blessed to have all these hot girl friends!
Yes. Blessed with hotness. From the Lord.
...managed to get some of my homework done, hand energy for the whole entire day and I am starting to feel a bit encouraged, God is definitely good!!! Amazing....huh?
I'm amazed.
Started school, have some sweet classes with close friends in them
Awk! "Sweet" is a family thing?
Well... I thought I would let you know that I am going to stop running with the dog! I think I almost killed him today. I went running about 11:45 this morning and I had to drag him for thirty minutes.... I don't think that's good. So when we got home he just fell over and is still laying there....I hope he is going to be okay.
Oy.
I think the wost place on this earth is the DENTIST (my sis agrees with me on that)!.... I had to go there last night, I spent four hours in the densit chair just so they could fill two teeths!!!! It was horrible! And they cut my lip open with the drill: "it was an accident" they said....right....
She's paying for Casey's sins.
What a crazy day it has been so far and it is only 6pm! It all started when my bro Steve changed my tire, and then my sweet cousin and I got yelled at, hit, gypped, ate some dog (not knowing), and worst of all we went to Kragen becasue we needed to get some oil and oil fliter for our cars and since we don't really know too much we almost died from a look a birly chick that worked there gave us!
Okay. Dog eater. At least Casey's brother can change a tire.

I'm bored now! I'll bet you are, too. Signing off the intrawebs for Saturday...
One of Kawasaki's smurfs comments about his international "investments" and positions. K'man sits on the board of the mining company....listed on Toronto's Stock Exchange.
Are the Serin's that illiterate? I'm astounded at the utterly horrible grammar and spelling from Marg - Casey isn't much better! It's not just mispelling, either, they do NOT have a good grasp of written English.
I never watched any of shithead's videos or audio files, as just the sight of him is enough to make me want to punch my monitor - do they have accents?
I wonder how forgiving Marg will be when shithead is in Folsom or San Quentin.
It's not just mispelling, either, they do NOT have a good grasp of written English.
A product of the American educational system. Take the obvious deficiencies in spelling/grammar skills and extrapolate them to every other area of learning, including critical thinking skills. Does that scare you at all?
Casey didn't appear to have an accent when he spoke on the local CBS news clip.
As much fun as it is to tee off on various members of ClanCasey, the sister's lack of fluency in English doesn't surprise me.
English is not her native language, and she came to the US relatively late. Therefore she is less likely to develop fluency than younger members of the Clan.
What surprises me is what appears to be her attitude towards smokers. In the former Soviet bloc, almost all men smoke. Nowadays a LOT of women smoke as well, especially the more westernized ones.
Re: >>English is not her native language, and she came to the US relatively late. Therefore she is less likely to develop fluency than younger members of the Clan.<<
Your charity is unbecoming a hater. All things Casey must be crushed into dust!

Spring Housing Dead Cat Bounce whilst the three BEAR Markets have their way with the Goldielocks econ.

two words for this post Rob Dawg.
Secular vs. Cyclical
If people can't differentiate between the two, they'll loose even more money.
they have some good points, like the idea that inflation will eat virtually all of us alive.
I love when I post a vague tangential comment and where people take it.
I think we are in a secular AND cyclical contraction in the housing market as an investment vehicle.
LEND will follow CFC and seems to have enough ceridt to possibly hold up. The battle for CFC is barely begun.
Don't sweat the wiki. When the page gets pulled we'll just put upa permanent "Banned from Wiki" page with a monster google hit priority.
Ans: winged jackalopes are mythical. Spring housing rebound likewise.

I realize it is Friday but come on...where is everyone?
Taking a 6 hour nap in honor of Snowflake?
I've been super busy today. My stupid employer actually expects me to do this thing called WORK.
How lame.
I'm with "T" about all these clients and stuff. The nerve!
Yeah, it's friggen bullshit, huh Rob? If only we had the same entrepreneurial spirit as our boy Casey. We could actually be napping right now rather than acquiring the income necessary to pay our bills and live life free of debt and foreclosures.
He's sure shown us, hasn't he?
Newest posting from Snowflake:
One question...is this one of his "big media" opportunities that Nigel was pimping on Casey's behalf? If so, this is nothing and I'd be shocked if anybody called to discuss their problems. Seems to me he wants to take advantage of people who are down now.

Webcast == live.
Podcast == recorded.
It's one thing to be ignorant, another to be willfully stubbornly stupid and flaunt it.

web·cast (wěb'kāst') Pronunciation Key
n. A broadcast of an event or a recording of an event over the World Wide Web: a webcast of the solar eclipse.
You were saying?
I was saying a live webcast cannot be a podcast.
Ok fair enough, work is work.
I can't hold that against any of you. Guess I just lucked out with a SLOW day...
Overall, I am speechless (which doesn't jibe with this rant).
rob you lucky SOB. we had great weather until yesterday. now its rain/freezing rain and sleet! BRING on spring already!
The whole purpose of this latest shenanigan is to get folks on the phone, ask questions,

Yes to get other people facing forclosure on the phone BUT/and then to send the short sales (leads) to his 'investors'.
For sure he is generating leads, people who are desperate to get out of forclosure, imo.
Greg Swan is a Buyer Broker now and Nigel can do the finance, maybe.
All of the above is only my deductive reasoning at work, not a fact, just an opine.

Proof of equation would be to take the gain and subtract the tax and see what the result is:
(0.057 * (1.0 - 0.3)) = 0.04.
You get the picture :-)
Hey Rob, The American Prospect has an item online today called 'Exburban Dreams Deferred':

My question is:
What is there that he can say or offer that hasn't already been said or offered ad nauseam on his blog? The same tired guru-dogma?
He has nothing new to say. Not unless he's bought another guru book and found some more trite little nuggets of wisdom to parrot.
I may have just experienced something stupider than a casey posting.
I was just informed by my supervisor that I need to "show chinks in my armor." I shouldn't always have an answer when asked a question. I should be willing to say, "I don't know, let me figure that out," even if I do have the solution.
Okay - off topic a bit but I thought I might get a wee bit of commiseration from here.
anon 3:39
The burden of perfection is a thing many of us here have learned to bear with dignity and quiet humility.
hmm, I really doubt snowflake will be taking "live" calls.
Anon 3:39,
Is that you Nigel? (just kidding if you aren't).
BWAHAHAHAAAA!
Snowflake just let this one through...

Have you updated your financials lately?
Have you found the missing payment?
You act like a hero & advocate for those in trouble but you are essentially the cause of their trouble by running up prices and then bailing on you obligations and driving down values with your multiple foreclosures.
Why haven’t they arrested you yet?

Are there any good voice impersonators out there...
LOL... In addition to Kiyosaki, we could also impersonate:
- a CashCall representative
- Galina, other Serin relatives
- Nigel Swaby / Duane LeGate
- the Utah buyers who got stiffed
- Federal Agents
... err... scratch that last one, it's probably a felony. But it's all good™! :)
Ok I just looked at IAFF, a pod-web-murse cast? That's the "good things" that are coming? So Gary thinks that snowflake is gonna pull them in so he can hook 'em?
Holy crap, what a joke.
I can imagine the Nigel impersonations...a lisping, foppish sounding man who lives up to every stereotype of an effeminate ass kisser.
As for Casey, who would listen to him mumble for that long? I can't STAND his voice. He sounds both bored AND tired. Why would anybody want his help?
I can imagine the Nigel impersonations...a lisping, foppish sounding man who lives up to every stereotype of an effeminate ass kisser.
As for Casey, who would listen to him mumble for that long? I can't STAND his voice. He sounds both bored AND tired. Why would anybody want his help?
LOL
Too lazy to make an account.
Here's the con, folks, right from TalkShoe's website:
Overview
Re:
>>When you host Talkcast episodes, you are paid $5.00 for each of your first ten recorded episodes (to help you get started).
If you need some good wine recos you know where to find 'em.
omg. talkshoe sounds like a web 2.0 MLM scheme. lmao.

oh, and btw -- to boost casey's audience, it would be appropriate to notify homey d.a.
Does he really believe he has so many fans who will gleefully listen to his podcasts? Does he think he's going to solve his issues with this?
How about this reference point: http://pine.chu.jp/pine/page/17.html
It was well over 80 degree F around here today, so I plan to spend Saturday swimming in my friend's pool with my doggies. G'night kids.
Casey Serin = Jerome Mayne.
google Jerome Mayne.
fyi, Jerome Mayne was convicted of mortgage fraud and served 21 months in federal prison.
he did a pod cast with snowflake awhile back. hilarious to listen to...
webcast?
podcast?
FRAUDcast
I listened to that and laughed at how the stupid ass has no presence on a microphone. How the hell does he think people want to hear a weak voiced, mumbling idiot?
Come on give him some credit - part of you wants to see him fall flat on his face doesn't it?
Don't you want to hear the breathless call from Nigel? I for one want to hear the audio so we can chop it up and have some fun with it.
omg. listening to the convicted felon calling casey "more crooked than me" warmed my cockles...
homey D.A. is gonna have a slam dunk hmm, this podcast may be disallowed on 5th ammendment grounds.

"show chinks in my armor."
If you're comming off like a know it all that's one thing but if your sup feels intimidated by your confidence, you may want out.
If your management supports that crap then either be done with them or become them.
Re:
∑ ...no presence on a microphone. How
∑ the hell does he think people want to
∑ hear a weak voiced, mumbling idiot?
Gee, if Casey had ever spent time in a genuine college environment, he could have taken a 1-unit course to attain the basics of public speaking and mic technique. I guess that kind of preparation is for "luthiers".
Is it possible Casey will share a cell with Dog the Bouncey Humper? Go with Christ, bra.
OK - now we can have some fun - it appears there is a user in Wikipedia by the name "Sercasey" - doesnt' that sound familiar? I'd suggest that adding comments to:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Sercasey
or
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Sercasey
I'm of course not advocating hate here...
Since his regular article looks like it was written by his mom now...
Hang on: Casey is in "lender ignore mode" or whatever, and he's just given everyone an exact time and phone number he can be reached at? Is there anyway the collections departments at his creditors be informed about this? Because that's just a lovely mental image.
indeed, Cashcall or Wells Fargo calling into the fraudcast would make my month
From the Wiki AFD page:
I think an article on Casey Serin should exist, but to claim that the article in its current form is unbiased is laughable.
I think that Casey Serin should be allowed to exist, but to allow him to steal oxygen from the rest of us in his current form is laughable.
But in just five minutes I found Wikipedia articles on Derek Smart, Paris Hilton, Kato Kaelin, Linda Tripp, and Frenchie Davis, so I'm inclined to believe eliding the Encyclopedia Dramatica is going to be a big job.66.75.58.180 05:35, 17 March 2007 (UTC)"
"* Serin is no troll.
Hey... the IAFF.com domain now redirects to http://www.zewg.net/casey/
... beginning of the end?
Benoit™,
What is zewg.net?
That page is:
http://www.xanga.com/drunknmastr916
and it is the regal domain of "drunknmastr916", who shares sentiments such as , "hey does anyone else watch Lost? that shit got me hooked!".

Are the Serin's that illiterate?
Oh dearie me...

Your charity is unbecoming a hater. All things Casey must be crushed into dust!
