Housing Bubble, credit bubble, public planning, land use, zoning and transportation in the exurban environment. Time for indoor fun. Finish arranging the shed and start a new art project. Paint the bedroom a new color, something brighter. Shorten a hot water line. They ran it along the cold foundation, it's cold and takes way to long to get hot. I love PEX. Finish the PWC piston and cylinder and decide if I want two and a boat. Plan the next RV trip.
First Night in Boston is "bucket list" worthy. I went to 2-3 of the early ones ('78-'81) before circumstances led me away. With time and opportunity we might go back just for the event.
In what seems meal #11 in the cycle I just glazed the ham shank and popped the Brussels sprouts into the olive oil, cracked black pepper and coarse ground garlic in garlic oil into the pan. The dinner rolls are rising slower than expected. No matter. Everyone always says best meal ever.
Tell Ares that we need something to clean counters. Detect and throw away the smelly old stuff in the fridge. Surely your sensors could guide you all the days of my life? You could learn how to push the buttons on the stove cleaner and get the ash out afterwards, couldn't you?
Mrs Dawg laughed at all the Noritake coincidences and informs me we are at 28 full settings and 4 more junior settings. About the only thing we don’t have are the silly napkin rings.
The fire was out in 12 hours, but Cal Fire took an extra three days so they didn't have to explain to homeowners why they couldn't go back to their home.
There is a weird paranoia among government agencies that causes them to be too cautious, rather then do what's best for the citizenry. I fear that once NK launches their N-bombs, we won't be told because the BigGov thinks we might panic.

We're having a laid-back Christmas, most of the kids are out of town. Might even catch up on chores.
Meanwhile, someone has come up with another creative use for excess retail space: A trampoline farm in 50,000 sqft, in T.O. dojoboom.com
Missed the boat!
We have a ppcxl pressure cooker and it does amazing things.
Guess who!

No skiploader = no proof. Could be anybody.
I look like an old science fiction movie The Flies! "Trust Me" it's me!

Officials now say the Thomas Fire is now 86% contained.
The total acres are now placed at 281,620.
Here's what the NWS is saying about Christmas Day Weather...
"Temperatures will be around normal for this time of year.
Some variable high clouds will be moving across the forecast area as well.
High temperatures will generally be in the 60s to around 70 for coast and valleys, and the Antelope Valley.
Cooler in the mountains."
> High temperatures will generally be in the 60s to around 70 for coast...
Cheer up - the forecast calls for highs in the 70s by Thursday ;-)
Hey! I was saving that forecast for Cinco’s overnight -6F Wed-Thu.

That's a lot of acres.
That's over 1/3 of Rhode Island
-7° Friday morning, and -10° New Year morning. That's gonna be a cold First Night

Good morning y'all...a toasty 11°F here this morning
Good Morning!
-2F this morning and 2" of fresh Christmas snow! Hope all had a great holiday!
Dishes, dishes dishes, haunt my life
4° in Champaign
. . Well he wanted cold. .
Paper plates! They recycle to.
Cold = no yard work. Time to go bowling. :)
I dont celebrate with friends with paper plates. Sniff.
We don't either. Noritake china, Bohemian crystal, silver serving but we have gone to paper a lot more for everyday.
We expanded our Noritake Barrymore to 24 last month.
I just complain about it afterwards.
Hub bought me brown pens and then forgot to give them to me.
Our Noritake Sterling Cove is up to 26, and we had 25 people last night for the usual Jamaican fare - and yes, best meal ever.
We had six nieces and nephews under 5 years old. At this rate, we'll need more plates!
I am going to get very tired of eating left over Christmas food. In fact, I already am.
Jim, did the fires affect your business a lot?
No yard work, no bugs... Winning
Of ye Goddesses. The kitchen is clean. ( I have not been cleaning the whole time.)
Thy minion,the roomba, is rumbling.
Tell Ares that we need something to clean counters. Detect and throw away the smelly old stuff in the fridge. Surely your sensors could guide you all the days of my life? You could learn how to push the buttons on the stove cleaner and get the ash out afterwards, couldn't you?
Much more important than planes that don't work? Right?
I guess you are all too busy, cleaning your kitchens.
> I guess you are all too busy, cleaning your kitchens.
I was busy sorting stuff. Got rid of a stash of old Christmas cards that friends sent me back in the 1990s.
I really need to get better about not keeping stuff that is past its sell-by date.
Why yes as a matter of fact I have been elbows deep doing dishes.
Mrs Dawg laughed at all the Noritake coincidences and informs me we are at 28 full settings and 4 more junior settings. About the only thing we don’t have are the silly napkin rings.
I went bowling! Not a good day but our team won all 4 points and still in 1st by 4.1 points.
Our Noritake china is gallery, Bought it decades ago. Service for ten back when we had more family around at the holidays.
We had green napkins folded into Christmas trees and didn't use the rings. They where cool.

Yeah, almost not satire.
Happy week between Christmas and New Years. It's too damned dark.
CR has gotten really boring. He may not know it, but he needs us.
DarkAura’s practice of protecting the guilty and punishing their victims has gutted the Reddit thread as well.
Paying Visa bill. If we didn't eat, we would be rich.
Sunny, clear and might get to 80 today. Maybe go for a drive to see the fire damage.
> Sunny, clear and might get to 80 today.
Now you're just being mean to Cinco. The forecast is for a high of 72 and sunny, not 80. ;-)
It was 48 on my walk this morning, but felt colder due to the breeze.
Retails sales are up, but consumer confidence is down.
Which is fake news? ;-)
Good Morning!
Great day living the delusion! :)
