Wrightwood Looking Toppy

1534 Betty St, Wrightwood, CA 92397

2 beds 1 bath 816 sqft

Charming mountain get-away, built in 1933 has an over-abundance of charm. Features include, many upgrades including kitchen, bathroom. new flooring throughout. additional features include single story, great room, swedish stove, wood beamed ceiling, 2 bedrooms (must go thru one br to access 2nd),

When you start seeing properties hit the market like this it is likely the begining of the end.  You might note I haven't linked the price.  As a hint last sold 06/19/15 for $125,000.

At least it doesn't look trashy like the previous one you posted. Say $150000 for a reasonable price. But this is Cali.

Overabundance of charm? I'd that code for tacky?

Rob Dawg said...

Code for wickedly overpriced.

Cinco, how you doing? Seems the cold front pushed over you. Chatham is still blustery rain.

Lawyerliz said...

Ok, how much?

Lawyerliz said...

Uh-oh, everybody thinks the markets going higher...

Cinco-X said...

They're estimating 8-2" now for my area, but 12-18" in Boston. We've already got more than 8" now, so I expect the totals to be on the high side.
But we still have power, and as long as we have that we have heat so our plumbing should be safe... For now

Lawyerliz said...

Do you let you faucets drip.

The Market always goes up, we learned that from real estate! Much more of this and I can retire! :)

No new snow here and 42F currently. Pipes can still freeze with heat in old housed poorly built.

Lawyerliz said...

Sell, dammit, sell.!!

Lawyerliz said...

A n d don't complain to me if the mkt drops like a bomb.

What poor Cinco is looking forward to over the next few days, dripping the faucets won't matter. This is stories from grandparents cold not childhood cold coming.

Ya... Looking pretty brutal... Damn global warming...

Lawyerliz said...

The picture they showed looked like a hurricane, from space, with an eye, and feeder bands and.everything

-4 to -6 here over the next two nights. Supposed to warm up to 29 by Monday. Break out the cut offs and tank tops!

LBD said...

But If I get off the market roller coast top and it stills goes up! I can't lose I tell you!

Nor'Easters, also known as mid-latitudes cyclones, are the most powerful storms on Earth. They tend to be much larger than hurricanes and typhoons, so the energy per square miles is lower, but the total energy throughout the Storm is greater

Cinco-X said...

On Monday were expected to "finally" get above 10°F

Hurricanes on Ice, It just sound brutal. Good luck, stay safe.

Yeah, and you bought your house in 2005 or 2006. It's imaginary money.
Silly LBD.

Cinco-X said...

Ya know... Me only real worry is frozen pipes. My son had a pipe burst yesterday and I'm going to have to go over and help him patch the wall on Sunday.

Lawyerliz said...

My daughter didn't want to be frozen, so she's staying with a friend. She'll have to go home to feed the cat

Some of my fondest memories are of Boston in heavy snow. Magical.

Two of the Sears closing are San Jose and Santa Clarita. Must be the real estate.

LBD said...

Yep and I bought my house in 2002. Value only matters when you sell, I'm not selling and fake values only drive up property tax. I kind of like not paying big taxes anymore. :)

Lawyerliz said...

It's not taxes here, it's insurance. Just wait until the insurance companies get Kali and Huston.

Lawyerliz said...

34° here.

Lawyerliz said...

Boston people wading in the flooding water reminds me of Houston, except that water wasn't freezing cold.

Lawyerliz said...

Now, their insurance is really going up, I'm sure.

Rob Dawg said...

It will be interesting to see what happens to my fire insurance.

Lawyerliz said...

It's going to go up, way up. Do you have any doubts.
Fun Facts:
The Boston airport has a melting Machine to melt snow on the runways
Bloomberg has a cart that shows 4 cities with low unemployment has admirable increases in wages. Also the minimum wage has increased significantly in a number of states, including Florida

True, one of the cities is Ogden.

Lawyerliz said...

Gee, Champaign has got up to 6° and Merritt Island up to 48°. Which is very cold for us.

Lawyerliz, the sky is falling, the sky is falling! Not really, just frozen iguanas!

Good Morning!

Looks like B-2 shows no over all monthly move upward. A little increase of OT for non durable goods and a tic up in leisure and hospitality. Utilities, Logging and mining, construction up a bit. Hurricane and fire boost I suspect. U-3 still propaganda. IMO :)

Rob Dawg said...

Liz, good news! From UMDan:

“Many pythons were reported dead, floating in the Everglades,” the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said in a statement to the Palm Beach Post.

The deaths resulted from both the low temperatures and the length of time of the frigid weather.

Let's see how long the leisure/hospitality hiring continues now that another dozen states have raised the minimum wage.

Rob Dawg said...

New post. Don't shoot the messenger.

LBD said...

RD, good point. Our old Mc D's is being replaced and speculation is touch screen ordering Will be here. Raise the minimum wage, jobs or hours work will lose.

Lawyerliz said...

Yay! Iguanas are cute however. I imagine gators do ok. People are rescuing sea turtles. Land turtles. Haven't seen them much.

Lawyerliz said...

Are you kidding? The whole world will want to come to Florida, where 33 or 34 at nite is a heat wave, compared to say
--1°.
