Las Vegas Stratoshpere

LAS VEGAS – Prices for existing homes sold in Southern Nevada kept rising through May and are now approaching their all-time peak, according to a report released today by the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS® (GLVAR).

GLVAR reported that the median price for existing single-family homes sold in Southern Nevada during May through its Multiple Listing Service (MLS) was $295,000. That’s up 2.1 percent from the previous month and up 18.0 percent from $250,000 in May of 2017.  Click on the title above for more.

Las Vegas is booming again.  Spent two nights there last week and once again "the crane" is the state bird.  $295k for a median LV area house only to have to live in LV seems insane to me.  I equally don't understand how that is even remotely attractive to Miillenials.  I can attest to one bit of culture shock.  Going instantly from the Rocky Mountain resort/ski communities above Denver to the touristy parts of Las Vegas the physical fitness of the people on the street plummeted.  In local relative terms I went from Baccus to Adonis.

Peope in ski areas ski. People in casinos don't.
And they have to be stupid, if they don't know the house always wins.

Compared to Kali LV is a bargain. It is attractive to young Gearheads in to off road sports. A couple of nephews live in LV that are fitness buffs and hike etc. Then the lakes and rivers down stream. Not my kind of place like Laughlin/Bullhead but even it is getting fee crazy like LV. Denver? what can I say but you should have been there a few decades ago. Today it's Kalirado, what a waste. Like they say the good old days. :)

Can’t leave stuff alone, two pool pumps not enough so I have a bigger pump with a sand filter coming! 😎 Cheaper then a race car. 😁

Pool (noun): a hole in the ground kept open by constantly pouring water and money.

The picture of Trump surrounded by the rest of the G-7 is classic.

Walrus! Haven’t been called that in a long time. Fun times.

Any toy can be a whole to throw large amounts of money in. Waiting for the electric bill for my pool water heater. Works great with a repeat cycle timer and Y valve to the solar pads. Fun coupons, rewards for hard work!
