LIFO and The Demographic Consequences

LIFO means last in first out. No one was complaining when the recent housing boom was bringing unprecedented numbers of minorities into the ranks of homeowners but you can bet that when they start losing "their" homes in equal proportions that the cries of racism will ring in the halls of government.
Nearby Oxnard will be one such ground zero. 66% of the population lists themselves as Hispanic. Oxnard is also infamous for its' insane development policies. Just another case of the perfect storm.

As the dollar (DXY) officially enters no-man's land, my USD shorts remain in place.

And THANK YOU Angelo Mozillo for adding to the downward pressure of CFC as I was shorting your shareholders. The selling you claimed was required to put your kids through college more then financed my kids' education as well.

There are many black and hispanic Realturds and mortgage brokers. In fact, I'll wager that the majority of these victims used a Realturd that shares their skin color.

Lou, you are absolutely correct.
Ethnic (as well as family and religious) affinity are important tools for people who are out to exploit others. The headlines will claim it is heartless mortgage holders that are exploiting folks, and skim right over the brother in-law mortgage broker who pocketed a big commission while putting people into loans they could never afford.

OT except that Anya has been known to flip her property on occasion, but I have the best fishnet series ever for your viewing pleasure. One of these days I'll have to add Zestimates to Zillow Book.

Akubi,
She doesn't look Hispanic. Love your google search results. "Fishnet akubi" and "fishnet zillow" both clock in at #1.

Lou,
You anticipate my next post on the subject. Ethic on ethnic crime is perhaps the sadest and biy will a lot of crap float to the surface this time. I've got a few all Spanish home sales magizines with exactly the kinds of predation we are talking about.

And EN is #3 for "Fishnet akubi"!

Hmmm, perhaps the brunettes with the showerheads in my "Good Clean Fun!" ZB post are Hispanic...

I work in an area that's heavily Vietnamese. When I go out to eat I sometimes pick up one of the Little Saigon magazines. They are all filled with real estate ads, each identical to the ads you see in fancy whitebread areas. Glamor Shots, Re/Max signs, Realturds posing with their pets or kids, Christian fish symbols, all of the stale gimmicks. I don't need to read Vietnamese to know the local community is being raked over by their own.

@Lou,
Maybe they should work the Nietzsche fish angle instead.
BTW, there's nothing like a good Vietnamese salad roll.

From my favorite realtard...

CHRIS NUÑEZ: When I first started I made a flyer. And what I did, is I went to the churches and while they were at church, I put these on the windshields. And I would get a call from them and they would say, "You know, I was thinking about buying a house. And there was a flyer on my windshield. It was a sign from God."
DAVID BRANCACCIO: A sign from God…that Chris the real estate agent was ready for their business.
CHRIS NUÑEZ: Correct.

Preyed on his own with 0% down, interest only financing, toxic ARMs.
And my favorite quote...
CHRIS NUÑEZ: You know I usually I get clients who come in here assuming that I came from a wealthy family or I am highly educated or whatever. I usually say you know what, I'm just like you guys. I eat beans like you in the morning.

Yes, yes, more beans in the morning!!

Do you mean Vietnamese sandwiches - with thin lengthwise sliced cucumber and carrots, chicken marinated in something + other stuff + a dash of fish sauce in a crunchy sub ?

I used drive out of the way to get mine on De Soto in the Valley at least once a week - classic fusion ( French + Vietnamese ) cuisine from wayy back before the phrase fusion cuisine was invented.

I can't get that here on the Front Range, CO even though much of the Far Eastern Asian population here is mostly Vietnamese - but I CAN get really good PHO (another example(IMO) of fusion from the colonial times - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pho)

I prefer Vietnamese coffee. I have it a couple times each week. It's (almost) a coffee syrup, sugar, and condensed milk, poured over ice. It's a liquid heart attack with a massive jolt of caffeine. But it's GOOD.

Most of the time when I step into a Vietnamese place it smells like a couple dozen large dogs farted inside. Yet the food tastes good. It's that rank fish sauce odor.

@sk,
Sandwiches?
This part is accurate: "sliced cucumber and carrots... + other stuff + a dash of fish sauce..."
Perhaps some take them with chicken, but I stick with shrimp. I believe the official name for them is goi cuon. Kinda sounds like koi pond doesn't it ;)?

As I recall you've visited San Francisco a couple of times...Did you check out the goi cuon in the Tenderloin?
Good coi cuon - whether it smells like rank fish sauce or dog farts - smells a hell of a lot better than anything else in the vicinity. Good cheap food most folks are too scared to taste.

Alas, no. SF is my favorite town and I have been there many, many times, but I've only driven through the Tenderloin once, and that was because I wanted to see it for my own eyes. I wasn't aware there are Vietnamese place there.

We go to SF every July for a couple days. If I was stinkin' rich I'd live there in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I think that is what SF is destined to become: A city containing some rich people, and poor people who service them.

Akubi said...

Hmmm, I'm neither rich nor poor, but generally avoid consumption (entropy) unless absolutely necessary.
The goi cuon is good there despite the tainted smell.

In addition, one of the reasons I hate marriage and people who choose to do so is the BS introduction of "We" over "I". Yeah, if we're talking about We the people... and other larger concepts of "We" it is one thing, but I'm to tired to go into details regarding the other highly entropic thing.

This is an update on my favorite realtard, Chris Nunez. He put his $1M home on the market.
Listing: http://tinyurl.com/2wp82s
Paid: $1.061M
Listing Price: $1.2M

from the PBS transcript...
Question: Do you ever worry that you're talking people into homes that they ultimately can't handle?
CHRIS NUÑEZ: No. Not at all because they wouldn't have qualified for the loan. So they can actually handle the payments, you know? Whether it's a five year or a 30 year loan, they have to qualify first.

(posted this info over at the Sonoma site, but I couldn't resist mentioning it, here)
