No, It's Not the ABX

The falling dollar? No, this is the low end (25th percentile) of the Sacramento housing market.

Last: (10/26/2007) $239,500
52wk Range: 239,500 - 299,999

1 month -$10,400 (-4.2%)
3 months -$29,500 (-11.0%)
6 months -$45,200 (-15.9%)
12 months -$60,499 (-20.2%)

Gotta love poking around Housing-Watch.

Congratulations on the child!

. . . and that can't be the ABX, it's not nearly steep enough. Although a 20% drop is impressive; now only another 30%-40% to go.

Welcome to the wonderful world of parenthood, Aaron. Get ready for sleepless nights for the next 2-3 months. :-) Oh, forget those expensive used diaper disposal things that wrap them up like sausages. They are a pain in the ass at 3:00 in the morning.

thanks for the tip lou. we got one of those cans that you spin over to drop the diaper in. keeps it from smelling. works great. the sleep thing is tough although she is sleeping a little over 3 hours at a time now. beats the 1 1/2 to 2 hours she was sleeping the first couple of days. heres to hoping that she gets close to 5 hours at a time in the near future!

...5 hours at a time...

Snigger. It's called college. Then you don't sleep from worry.

Don't worry, 3 daughters, I'm just teasing.

Congratulations Arron

Don't forget to save a copy of KC's puss.

Then when she is 10 or so, you can hammer home how she should never hook up with a LOSER like this (show photo) and explain the damage an idiot can get her into.

I have already indoctrinated my little one.

Congratulation Aaron,
They say the first 20 years are the toughest. I must admit that breastfeeding is extremely good for the health of the fathers. That way, when the wail starts up at 3 AM, she goes and you stay. It's a selfish thought, I know, but it's also the way it is. Also, get any friend who is a keen photographer to visit this week and take a ton of the cutesy, artsy photos (e.g. BW shot of baby in your hands) because they start to grow amazingly fast after that first week.

Lou,
I disagree with you about the Diaper Genies. Ours was quite useful, particularly as we had twins. Kind of happy to say goodbye to all that, though.

Diaper Genie. Yes, that's it. It's been about 5 years since I had to last change a diaper and I forgot the name.

Dunno, it just seemed easier to toss the hand grenade into the trash.

Kind of happy to say goodbye to all that, though.

No sh!t.
