By popular demand. Apparently the blog was drifting dangerously close to respectable.

What a nice way to enjoy a morning cup of coffee.

I knew horses liked apples. I didn't know they liked melons, too.

I bet you all can't wait for my post and picture about the administration's "new" idea of "transparency."

Jeez - tough crowd when a post headed by a cartoon about frog-backed securities is seen as respectable.

Still I dig the repost-
"Respectable huh? OK monkeys eat this"...... fires up google..... search.... naked+Angelina+Donkey+Lick

Sorry to disappoint but at my current beer consumption it would take more than 3 years to get that shot. I've had 3, yes, three, beers in the last year. 2 gin'n'tonics and wine less than a glass biweeky as well.

Bear tranquilized at Camarillo apartment complexOK, which one of you VenCo bears was out prowling around apartment complexes early this morning?

Rob Dawg said...

sm_landlord,
From your recent CR post I thought you were more interested in cougars. [ducks]

sm_landlord said...

The cougars keep running off with the ponies. Maybe I should look into a nose extension.

Rob Dawg said...

You need a place to park your propellors more.

sm_landlord said...

I may have to get cloned in order to have to the time to deal with that.

I'm still catching up from almost a month of traveling to conventions and such.

"park your propellers" - fan hits the shit.

File Afro?

Well that's just racist!

What if I decided to name a site File Skinhead? Huh? Huh? What would you think then?

Or File Bald?
Or File Slick?
Or File Redhead?
Of File wavy, shiny, healthy, full-of-life?

w said...

File Afro? I agree, that is racist. Jack Sikma is pissed now.

These two houses are very close to each other.

House 12876 ft2
sold 2001 $607k
listed at $1,050k

House 25511 ft2
sold 2006 $1,527k
listed at $999k

Zillow says that using their cutting edge home valuation models a huge number of homeowners are underwater. Of course that number is skewed if it includes foreclosures which sell at huge discounts.

TJandTheBear said...

Skewed towards reality, since FCs *are* the market.

w said...

It is funny how house 1 is still wishing for 70% appreciation since 2001 while house 2 is wishing to sell for 33% depreciation since 2006. I expect house 2 is a FC.

House 2 is twice the size and considerably more polished. Maybe not quite in as good a spot though.

Pleather Murse said...

House 2 - A million bucks and you still have to deal with the HOA crap. God forbid you want to paint it a different shade from every other McMansion in the compound, or build an add-on, or leave your garage door open. Sorry, I just detest HOAs.
