Mountain Bunker
A little whiskey, a little gunpowder...
No, I'm not joining the bunker crowd but while reviewing the town of Wrightwood, CA this particular offering just screamed for a little attention. Want you own slice of high mountain heaven? 660 sq ft on 7200 sq ft lot. Only $297,500!!! A freakin' A-Frame for $450/sq ft. My only explanation is that the owner has been holed up in there since 2005 and got tired of waiting. My guess? Before the declines are through this will sell for less than $100k.

Maybe it's a complete bathroom, except the toilet is the Uzbek-style 10-foot-deep pit dug through the bathroom tile.
In Soviet Union, toilet craps on you! ;-)
It is a great deal. It only needs one zero removed.
I remember Wrightwood made national news a few months back. Something about the road to I-15 being shut down due to asshole commuters who were endangering roadway construction workers.
It was State Route 138 but the real story is that the construction workers were the assholes. Stopping people for 45 minutes a 100 yards from their side street when the work was a quarter mile away. Capturing people without notice when setting up a half mile sooner gave people a chance at an alternate route. The workers said they were being spat at and there was "throwing things" but the truth was they got tired of being just called the assholes they were and proved it in a fit of pique by closing the stretch "for worker safety."
OK, I knew there were assholes in there somewhere.
BTW, I laugh at your pathetic Caseypool.
Algae fuel now!
Let's make those foreclosed pools work for us.
