Second, I was wondering what this post was doing here, because you usually have a post like that being a deal. This one threw me off, until I got to the punchline.
Rosa might be better off taking the year of free rent and keeping her car anyway.

I did not like their boxy Repo Man Mercedes phase of the era. The overall aesthetics remind me of Monica or Murses or somethin.
The only cars that tempt me to drive are Jags.

Yesterday was wild Coho salmon day. Yum. One of the few upsides to life threatening disease is the new diet. I miss beer but not too bad. Tonight was Panda Express. I don't quite get it. There was hardly any panda in my meal.
450SLs were what the wives of doctors drove to the country club back in 1978. Anachronisms from bygone era and not worth $5k in any condition.

I loved these 2 seater Merc convertibles. I'd prefer one in maroon with a leather interior. Sky blue just seems lame.
The Merc is 30 years old. Lord save you if you need parts for it.
They were expensive then. They are insane now.
Edmunds only goes back to 1990 so you cannot get a true value. Mark to market eh?
And if I remember my youth, the 1976 model went for 16 grand.

Such car are snapped up by retirees at my yacht club. But most buy mid 90s on.
Friend just snapped up a 6 year old bmw 325 convertible for 4500 bucks. Had to replace the top as it was worn. Everything else was perfect. The deals are starting to pop up, but we have a ways to go before these clowns really start throwing in the towel.
