What landscaping? I see rocks. Even zen gardens have some shrubs.

Good Morning!

Day 3 of rain.

Do Realtors have trading cards like baseball?

Rob Dawg said...

Pretty much no rain until October plus or minus a month. Sneaking up on some 80 degree middays but the 3:00 ocean flow is still quite cool.

Who would want to buy this trading house? Any chance for rental income disappeared two sales ago. To live in you can do so much better for somewhat less in the same neighborhood.

It is a prison town.

Well if the prison needs space, they can just put up some bars and use this house. Worst punishment, lookin at the rocks all day.

Finished Marigold I have. Turtle came out and didn't run away. I watched him and while I watched he yawned. Bored wit the Trump, Ryan, Mana ford Flynn, etc thing I guess.

The corn meal did not kill the fire ants, and I have a bit to prove it.

Lawyerliz said...

Alas corn meal did not kill the fire ants.

Lawyerliz said...

Up another 100$.

I wonder how much value the turtles add? Surely the marigolds add something!

80 minutes of yard work with barely a dent in the two honeydos. Makes me not as disgusted with the Adelanto rock yard. The problem with 300 ft of driveway is 300 ft of hedge trimming. Haven't done it for years as they were too stressed from the drought so lopping branches 3/4" thick. Haven't even pulled out the hedge trimmer yet.

+$900 today. My house is not working hard enough.

Lawyerliz said...

Yeah, yard wor is one of those things that you spend hours on and it looks like nothing. The is a bunch of sawgrass glowing at me that has snuck in under the big gardenia bush.

Lawyerliz said...

That was glowering.

Lawyerliz said...

Why don't you hire someone to trim?
The hub doesn't care if the sawgrass covers the garden completely but he bugs me about the location of the cat, porch, in house, or out.

I'm bored with the Trump thing. Hope he goes soon.

Lawyerliz said...

What kind of plant is the hedge? I have a teeny tiny tomato on a bush I planted maybe 2 weeks ago

Lawyerliz said...

Tell your house to pay for the trimming.

Rob Dawg said...

Too poor to hire anyone for simple work.

Somedays I was the most expensive parts driver in Denver. Now I just work on my own stuff. Just finished fixing my diesel hot water boiler on the motor home. It is always scary first time you fix something expensive and your not familiar with. Very satisfying when you conquer it. :)

Lawyerliz said...

I don't believe it. Too cheap,.yes. is the hedge on both sides? Have them do it once, then you can keep it up better. Which princess was it whose castle was covered with vines? You can be a prince in that situation until your beautiful wife has the word done and then gives.you a kiss. Hey, don't you have a. . . TEENAGER?

Lawyerliz said...

You the hub is always.nervous when he turns something on for the first time. Birds happily chirping. Saw a very blue blue Jay this.morning

Chris Cornell died...I guess everyone on this board is too old to know who that is...😋

Lawyerliz said...

Who is it?

Corn meal didn't work on fire ants, alas.

Lawyerliz said...

Googled him, very sad.

What's wrong with trying antipresants?

Cinco-X said...

Sorry about the ants. Cornell was front man for SoundGarden and AudioSlave

Standard SSRIs don't work on all forms of depression. And forget about getting boners of you use them.

Lawyerliz said...

My lawn guy weed wacks the. Small puffs of sawgrass. Usually doesn't kill then but I dig out one or 2 or 3 every day. Didn't charge any extra.

Lawyerliz said...

I'd rather be alive. There are other drugs than ssris.

Roger Ailes dead. Hmmmmmm

That didn't take long. If Comey was pressured then he didn't report it to DoJ as required. If Comey was pressured then his May 3rd congressional testimony is perjury. The "memos" will never surface.

Two dozen utterances of the "F" word in Ty Cobb. Still the song matches my grandfather's description of Cobb.

Is there a term for the phenomena where active go-getter types who are retired not on their terms are dead within a year?

Try putting baking soda in the hole and then pour in some vinegar. Works for me.

Word... But the media will run with this meme as long as they can anyway. Why let facts interrupt a great narrative
