La Loma Redux

It's back. La Loma is back on the market.

You'd never know this was once asking for a million.

This wasn't part of the 200 acre place with the cool old hunting lodge was it? It looks like about the same spot.

This is the one that's got a remediation problem that makes permitting infeasible, no?

Remediation: yup.

As too a 200 acre parcel, no. Ed Friel would have bought it for his dogs.

Apparently they took it off & relisted so as to lose the listing price history. They're so clever, aren't they?

So what is the background story with the remediation? This looks interesting. What could be hiding behind this low price?

40.1 acres? Does it come with a mule?

I don't suppose the possibility that this land could be used for--oh, I don't know, something like, say, AGRICULTURE--would be under consideration at this point?

This land would be really good for goats.

How low can they go? This gets more and more entertaining.

Is there a previous thread regarding this property?

Perfect place for a high banked short track (30 degree banking/half mile track) speedway like Bristol Motor Speedway.

Rob,
Did you catch CR backpedaling on his "MBS Buys are done" call last night? I even had to chime in with a snarky comment!

Rob Dawg said...

Yes, CR is doing what he's always done. CR reports with the current information. He doesn't see a double dip because the data to confirm is not there. He doesn't see the certainty of ongoing Fed MBS participation because the Fed says it will stop in March. Don't rag on Bill becaquse he's "wrong" because that's not what he is reporting.

CR's "The Man", but... his 35bps call just doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever.

EconomicDisconnect said...

Rob,
I respect the guy tons but CR often does forecast many things and he has constantly forecasted 35bps change in rates and an end to MBS buys.
