A Wee Bit O'Scotland

Real life intrudes.  Sorry for the slow post schedule.  Back in the garden shed of spousal exile today and will hopefully get ahead of the tidal wave.  Family in San Diego over the weekend.  La Jolla is insane.  My sibling asked my opinion of a "village" property.  I don't even have the real estate vocabulary to couch my reaction/reply in civil terms.

What is a village in Kali?

A "village" in California is a high density congested core wheere houses cost twice as much.

Kinda like a town center in New England?

A follow up to the past thread.

When one of those Atlantic up-coast storms run up the Connecticut Valley the damage can get severe.

Rob that's hideous. Scarrier than a house of torment.

Condo regime in Tx. You own the home, but not the land it's built on.

Just saw a space X launch from a distance.

La Jolla, still the place to be 50 years later. I learned to drive in La Jolla and the bridges around mission bay. :)

"Rob that's hideous. Scarrier than a house of torment."

Pardon the following language.

I have never seen a turd polished to such a high shine.
Steps down to the entry level.
Steps up/down to the nearest bathroom.
Embedded "features" that are scary ugly.

The visitors were required to wear booties whilst the Realtoresses wore spiked ankle boots.

The neighbor was grilling hamburgers. Smelled great. Almost as if their grill were 5 feet from the main floor window.

They didn't call the root cellar the dungeon but...

Zebra wood everywhere.

Beware the neighbor two doors down smokes so you may be at risk of cancer. Kali nuts.

Horrible. The people who did this remodel should be in jail for house abuse. I like the look of one or 2 pieces of furniture and the floors. Did any actual human being ever live there?

To top it off, I'll bet that some architect collected a hefty fee for designing that nightmare.

i want a picture of the RE agents face the instant they got their first look at what they would have to try and sell.

Do you call Miz Dawg "She who must be obeyed?"

I may have alluded to the ongoing developments in the old town:

Article contains excuses from the police - the same police that refuse to respond to property crimes.

They could refuse. I turned down a client or 2 in my day

Thanks sm. People used to think I was kidding that the SaMo PD insisted you drive to the station to report a stolen car.

Lawyerliz said...

Maybe they are doing you a favor by destroying really ugly houses like this one.

Lawyerliz said...

Hahahaha. Makes perfect sense. Hahahahaha.

Where's Tom and Jane when Soviet Monica needs them? It was so nice a long time ago.

Rob Dawg said...

For the record. Mrs Dawg does not -need- to be obeyed. It is just a very very good idea.

Lawyerliz said...

Hehe.

Cinco-X said...

Isn't that just understood?

Cinco-X said...

Riiiiight

The spellcheck really didn't like Rumpole.

How are your catz?

Read old Dawg post about subsidizing refrigeration. Subsidizing? Dawg?

Good Morning!

I'm the boss of my house, my wife said so. :)

Lawyerliz said...

We are entirely equial.

Lawyerliz said...

Any thoughts about indictments?

Lawyerliz said...

I'm about ready for this to be over with.

Lawyerliz said...

One of the Regulations Trump want to reduce is the cattail requirements of banks!!

Lawyerliz said...

Capital, geez.

Rob Dawg said...

Rumpole of the Bailey was a wise character.

The kittehs are content in the extreme. The big orange has taken to supervising the patio from a throne chair. The small gray has taken it upon herself to make sure the birds at the feeder are orderly and attentive.

Old Dawg and the community refrigerator? Nothing wrong with your memory! I will repost.

I think cattails for the bankers is a good start.

Not memory, reading 2004 post. Very tired today
Maybe I will start with old posts and come foreward.
