Casey is his own best poster

Man I am spending WAAAY too much time on comments here.

Gee, Beaver. Ya think?

I really need a solid plan to...

So far so good. Casey does need a solid plan.

outsource moderation

Oooops spoke too soon. Is this a new disease? Netism? Like Autism, Netism exhibits withdrawl from reality and inappropriate responses to stimuli.

once I really get going with my goal.

Is parole before 35 a goal? Casey's goals are no longer his own. He is owned by his debt.

I love all you guys but I can’t be distracted.

Casey can be distracted by CashCall popup ads.

This goal is for real. Too bad WordPress doesn’t make it easy for me to give somebody a “comment moderation” account and an ability for me to audit it.

Okay, we'll assume "this goal" means assigned moderating which is easy, Casey just doesn't know it. Just like all the real issues, what you don't know is what kills you.

One idea - do weekly interactive podcasts with updates and let you guys call-in at the end. As long as you guys don’t bring up too much about In-n-Out, Jamba Juice, Macaroni Grill, etc (a little bit is OK)

I vote for "What if they gave a trainwreck and nobody watched?"

Casey as Zen koan. That’s funny.
Who would want to bother scheduling time to listen to his weekly interactive podcast? Ah, sorry, can’t make that meeting – gotta tune into Casey’s interactive pod cast. He is utterly delusional.

Also, 99% of his readers come for the comments - Casey's own burblings can be skimmed in ten seconds flat. I can't speed-listen in the same way.

(That said, I did watch that video he posted - the one where Robert Kiyosaki was blatantly laughing AT him rather than with him)

"She very much did not appreciate being unaware of the 50K Countrywide note, the 22K personal note and the other 5K personal note. That’s my fault because I have been running around like crazy trying to fix this mess so that she doesn’t have to worry about a thing and neglected to discuss some of this stuff with her. However, not discussing important financial decisions really hurts our marriage. Better communication should be my goal for 2007 too."

Yummy, yummy, troll bait. Shocked I tell you, simply shocked. YAWN

Yeah, right Casey, we believe ANYTHING you post. NO WIFE is going to allow a man to screw her over repeatedly, much less a loser like you. I tend to believe the exact opposite of what you say, so I assume Galina has full knowledge of everything.

Also, like a second blog is not going to be a further way to allow you to waste your time, giving you another excuse why you won't come anywhere near meeting your (cough)goals.

Frankly, I am losing interest in his side show, except waiting for the perp walk. How many times can he rehash the same story lines. He is either doing some serious rapid cycling, or as stupid as Robert says he is.

Maybe a combinations of both.

There is NO WAY my wife wouldn't be scouring my blog with a fine-tooth comb on a daily basis if I was posting as much personal financial information as Casey is. And there's also no way she'd let me get away with leaving obviously important mail unopened.

And it's not as though Casey's posting under an assumed name - just Googling it will tell Galina everything she wants (or in her case probably doesn't want) to know.

I'm so glad I started a shadow of Casey. I get more in 30 seconds than wading through 20 mins over there.

Switching everything to his name? Oh come on. I'm waiting for dinner, Gin & Tonic in hand and this pops up? Totally clueless. Doesn't even bother to fact check his trolls anymore.

Here's the non-advice deal. New Corps are backed by officers. Later by stockholders. New Corps are worse than recent grads vice credit.

He's just flopping, gasping for air.

From Gustavia Texas > Did you catch the last comment he made about "tricking someone to write a plug in for him" to give moderating privs?

Yes, that was quite obvious. The way he worded his response reveals volumes about his (lack of) character.

But there was something more subtle immediately before that comment. He mentioned something about his "PHP skills getting a little rusty".

This confirms something I have long suspected.

The "Casey fans" view him as some sort of guru because he managed to run a stock install of WordPress on a hosted account. His last paying job was as a "programmer" for Pride Industries for something like 70k.

Having worked in the field for over 20 years, I laughed to myself when I saw those numbers. In a high wage state like California, you really have to suck to make 70k a year as a programmer. (I'm in Orange County and making about 3 1/2 times that)

I heard somewhere that his only real education was taking a 1 semester class in Linux at the local community college.

Not only is he buried in debt, but he doesn't have any salable skills to help get him out of debt. And the reputation he is building for himself is going to make it impossible for him to even get a job at the local Jamba Juice joint.

The real tragedy is that he's so poorly educated that he doesn't realise how poorly educated he is.

I can cut him a reasonable amount of slack for coming from a former Communist country, but he's had ten years to pick up even kindergarten-level business skills, and he doesn't seem to have learned a thing (other than being able to spout a lot of jargon that he doesn't really understand).

He's not so much running before he can crawl as attempting to leap the Grand Canyon in a single bound without any visible means of support - and then looks hurt and bemused when he plunges to the bottom like a character in a Hanna-Barbera cartoon. Despite the fact that literally everyone told him this would happen before he tried it.

(Can anyone explain to me how "this corporate credit thing" isn't blatantly illegal, since it seems to involve Casey transferring his debts to a corporation of which he is the sole director? Casey clams up like Fort Knox whenever anyone asks about specifics, which is revealing enough in itself.)

He seems at least a little aware that what he is doing is not right, hence the mention that the corporation will issue a loan to him for the amount of the debts.

I, of course, seriously doubt that this corporation he "bought" will actually be able to raise lots of "juicy" lines of credit without a (worthless) personal guarantee, thereby rendering any protection from the corporation moot. But even assuming that he does; no matter how you slice it, turning around and funneling all that money to pay personal debts is a no-no.

I am not a doctor, but I tend to think he's bi-polar. No sane person could be this delusional.

I, for one, am past the point of understanding with this clown. Come Tuesday morning I am on the phone with every law enforcement agency I can think of.I am sick of assholes like Casey having a good time on my expense.

I would suggest others do the same.

Mr Anonymous Programmer (who posted at 9:32pm), I think you're as delusional as Casey.

You may well be paid $250K as you claim. However, that doesn't make it the norm. The prevailing wage for a programmer in Sacramento with Casey's experience is $44K.

Um, no - this behavior is not difficult to find. It usually happens when a kid does well enough in school and thinks he's the cat's whiskers, then goes out into the real world which is a much bigger pond with bigger fish. The kid's ego prevents him from seeing his own limitations - he thought the world would be handed to him on a silver platter but then has to go through the process of discovering that there's almost no substitute for hard work.

My guess is that given a year or two, he'd begin to become "normal", whatever that is. Unfortunately for him, it's unlikely he'll get that period of time. I do think that the full weight of the judicial checks and balances will come to bear upon him, resulting in a very miserable future for the lad.

Regarding the salary Casey no longer has...
Casey said in post 112 that he was making $35,000 per year as a web programmer in 2002. Presumably this was the Pride Industries job. He has not, to my knowledge, said how much he was making when this ended.
However, in post 55 he said that making $25/hr as a web programmer would be a waste of time since he could make so much more on Sweet Deals. Knowing Casey, this means that he was making less than $25/hr at his highest-paying job - not really a surprise for a young guy with no degree and no "true" coding skills, in Sacramento.
The $70,000 per year job was one he applied for but was not hired.

By the way, since I dug up Casey's long-winded post 55, I notice in it that he says "when I can sell a real estate contract for $5,000 after doing 5 hours of work = that’s $1000/hour! So if I can work really hard for one month and find just 2 deals, I can make $10,000."

Apparently for Casey, "working really hard" is 10 hours per month based on this scale.
