Shasta Lake teachers hit $76 million lottery jackpot
SHASTA LAKE - A group of 15 teachers and administrators at Shasta Lake School, who've been playing the state lottery together for seven years, picked the winning numbers for a $76 million SuperLotto Plus jackpot that was drawn on Saturday.
IMO they've won the lottery every week for two decades.

on fire these last few days
Thanks. I mean that. I don't advertise and the only thing I get is approbation. I was lazy and a little "mailing it in" for a while but I promise, I'm back.
Ah, kitty p0rn ...
And I'd like to know how that "$76M" works out in real cash. Divide by 15 people, divide by 20? year payout, take off 1/2 in tax...oh well still a good haul.
I've been through Shasta Lake, didn't know there were 15 people employed by the school. Very small district.
They're going to have a difficult time with the transition, I imagine most of them are suddenly retired.
Prop Flop,
They'll be fine. There are enough big district teachers looking for a chance to really teach. The question will be whether the district takes advantage and cuts the pay scales.
