Scott Magee, who is blind, filed a lawsuit in May alleging that only offering service to customers in cars at drive-thru windows when the interior of the store is closed is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. A federal judge in Chicago ruled Wednesday that despite McDonald's attempts to have the case dismissed, Magee can go forward with the suit, which seeks class-action status.

What strikes me as odd is -why- a blind man would want a late night snack at McDonald's. Anyway. setting aside that I don't see any merit to the claim, the guy could take a taxi thru, what really galls is that he filed in May of 2016 and the courts only got to their ruling that the case can proceed last week. WASS if this is representative of the legal "process."

You want faster service you hire more judges. Fla bar always recommends more judges legislate refuses. Like roads, sorta.. First, it's always night to the blind guy. Second why not serve him at the walk up?
story on the local news last night about a disabled guy who is suing some city because they do not recognize his miniature horse as a service animal...
mtd precip totals for us up to 13.3 inches..with more in the forecast..
Go team go!!
Well, is it?
What's the usual yearly total?
the horse?? I don't know..just thought it was funny.
Annual precip is about 60 inches..
Part ( by no choice of their own) is they too have to adapt to life. Drive through only at night allows service and increases safety for their employees. IMO. I suppose he would settle for money instead of McD closing the whole store. Case has no merit and looks more like extortion. IMO.
Should banks provide 24 hour lobby service and get rid of ATMs?

bond market higher (lower yield) on the news apparently..
Gonna be some eyepopping dislocations once the inflation switch is thrown. I think there is a little bit of hope as Trump seems serious about his sticking to "spending is out of control."
Trump sticks to nothing.
House prices in Brevard County went up 16 or 18%.
Brevard. Change in mix or equivalent resales?
good week for your son to lock in his rates Liz..
Consumer sentiment at 96.3 vs 98.5 last month vs 91.7 Feb '16
If i am any example the drop in consumer confidence could entirely be due to nervousness over the stock markets. Even if only a third have some kind of investment if that one third moves a lot then the composite number moves as well.
dang..bought a bit of OLED (display manufacturer) in Dec in the high 50's ...drifted down to the mid 50's so I sold..popped to 80 today (on earnings)..
Hate when that happens!! lol
January was decade-long high in the CS..so not a big deal imo..
normal February blues..lol
I don't think J6P is too exposed to the stock market. This has been the most hated/ignored bull market run (since the '09 lows) in history..which probably explains its longevity..
even amongst "investors"...sentiment readings have been very skeptical (usually 70+% either neutral or bearish) all the way up to the current record highs..
They are locked.

Hardly anything for sale. Judging from home Depot lots of diy projects. Always very busy.
A very few new projects proposed, fewer started. I think people have refied very low, and why should they go anyplace else. Don't seem to be any neglected potential foreclosures. Except one across the street from a friend. Was a method lab that blew up and killed 2 people. I bet hazmat consideation means the bank doesn't want
