Why VenCo Isn't Like Where You live

In addition to people shocked that the Dawghaus is a mere 45 crow miles from Downtown LA there are other ways this community is different from most anyplace else.

Check out this arrest:

Damn quite the score.  Why the excitement over a chicken?  It was what was under the coop:

Oh... that is why the chickens were important.  That's more cash than a monthly rental in that area.

And what's growing below the dawghaus garden shed of spousal exile?  Insane tomatoes.

Tesla was upgraded to buy at Berenberg and had its price target raised to 464 from 193. Despite efforts by BMW, Kia and General Motors (GM), analyst Alexander Haissl said no other automakers are currently building electric vehicles for the mass market that can compete with Tesla's offerings. The Model 3 is expected to go into production this year. Haissl also said the company's free cash flow potential is "superior."

Tesla shares jumped 4.7% to close at a fresh record high of 375.95 on the stock market today.

OMG WASS

Not really. It is just stock craziness. Tesla -stock- will implode and yet we will still get niche electric vehicles that eventually will get more mainstream.

Western Digital was initiated with a buy rating and 130 price target at Aegis Capital, which also started coverage on Seagate Technology with a buy rating and 50 price target.

Meanwhile, Japanese media outlets reported that Western Digital will raise its bid for Toshiba's semiconductor division to $18.2 billion from $14.5 billion.

Western Digital shares rallied 3.9% to 90.05, and Seagate rose 1.2% to 42.03.

OMG WASS

Is anyone else seeing this? How many "Oh no, not again" moments need to be shoved in our faces before we get the message.

We never ever learn. Never.

Lovely tomatoes. What is that purple flower?

We have Noritaki china and Mikasa glassware. 16 settings and absolutely timeless. Worth -nohing!-. The kids are already fighting over who has to pretend to want the stuff so as to not hurt our feelings.

sm_r,
I think I know of someone who picks up IO-360s no questions asked for free or at most a modest beer fee. ;)

Know anyone who wants a straight six diesel with marine conversion?

Truth told I don't see any value in a certified aviation anything. 50s ideas with 60s designs, 70s materials and 80s methods. Yawn.

I can buy engines from the hobby community that have higher output than the Wright Brothers engines.

sm_landlord said...

Would a Wright Brothers engine even lift a small drone?

Rob Dawg said...

No. The power to weight ratio is an order of magnitude worse which shows how far we have come.

Hub watching a show on the Buddha. He was gonna switch over to a Putin that he called the anti Buddha, but didn't.
I told him I thought the anti Buddha was Trump and he agreed.
Buddha started out by abandoning his wife and child. As an abandoned chid myself, I am not impressed.

You have to start somewhere.

Any thoughts on the Sessions interview?

I think he didn't remember an awful lot.

Didn't listen to the dog and pony show today. I suspect one may not remember what didn't happen.

Kammi Harris' Senate debut was a total flop. Neither fish nor fowl she doesn't have her game ready for the bigs. Recall she rise up through the ranks of single party California politics. This is her first exposure to a democratic process.

You can't be prosecuted for stuff you don't remember, or say you don't remember.

Hub sez McCain is really losing it. Too bad.

Good morning.😀 all. Must straighten and work on plants. Yesterday was much cooler here than Boston or Illinois where my kids live. Tho more humid.

How does it feel prosperity wise in Kali?

here's the problem..how many people do you think a typical US Senator "meets" in a year??? Thousands probably (maybe tens of thousands). So if asked..did you meet with any other Russian officials..and he says no..and there turns out to be a picture of him shaking hands with a low level official (whether he knew who it was or not) at some speech, dinner, event etc..the Dims would go ballistic.

Rob Dawg said...

It's a hollow stretched out kind of prosperity. Like butter spread too thin on a slice of bread. (Bilbo Baggins).

The State is about to stuff an $18b "tunnel" water bypass project down our parched throats. Added capacity? Zero.

the whole "collusion" theory makes no sense from a timing perspective imo. The Podesta e-mails pre-date Trump even announcing his candidacy..the DNC "hack" occurred when there were at least a dozen Republican candidates still in the race.

A more likely explanation is that the Russians (along with many other countries) are constantly probing IT weaknesses in US govt (as well as private/corporate) systems...and have been for years.

Lawyerliz said...

He knew Kislyak.
The founders anticipated the factions would at least try to get along. And that the checks and balance would be sufficient to keep just one faction from grabbing everything. Headed by a dictator type person. Luckily Trump is too crazy/senile/dumb/with a defective short term memory to be an effective dictator.
Of course the Dems woud. We live in an Era of bad feeling, rude, crude, and nasty. Luckily, these things swing back, and it may be that politeness Wil become fashionable.

Lawyerliz said...

Yep. I'm sure we are doing the same to them too. In a way, it's Putin job. The poor little Clerks of Court are over matched in this battle, altho 4 Florida counties manages to avoid the attacks.

NASA gets hit a hundred times a day or more. They Are equipped to repel the probes and hacks.

Rob Dawg said...

Now we find out Obama authorized "probing" state election systems to prove to them the need for a national network.

The questions he answered ("not that I can recall") too though were more general "any Russian officials" iirc...not specifically Kisylak. of course you don't give definitive answer to an open ended question like that..as a trained attorney you should understand why.

I'm seeking big werepairs and constructing appearing, fewer beggers, more help wanted signs. Many more well kept houses, fewer uncut lawns. A few more for sale signs. Space companies fighting over was gets first dibbs over launch pads. Nimbys fighting over proposed developments. Etc. When they start to build on the old K Mart lot, I will know heaven on earth is here.

Lawyerliz said...

Seeing big repairs.

More cleaning calls.

Rob Dawg said...

Wait! New post. Just what you were talking about.

the Dims seem to have no problem with the head of the DOJ (under Obama) meeting secretly on an airport tarmac with the husband of a lady who is the target of an active FBI investigation (and also happens to be the presumptive
DNC POTUS nominee)..but worry about this stuff...you can't make this up.

Hmmm... So if that Washington shooter says he can't remember pulling the trigger then he can't be prosecuted?
