Long time readers know I have good instincts for when something is wrong. They also know I really want historical parallels to bolster my suspicions. Tesla bothers me...TSLA stock closed that day at $376.40
July 8th update:
TSLA stock closed for the week at $314.22
This time I think Goldman Sachs has it right. They recently lowered guidance from $190 to $180. And I believe an overshoot is likely.
And for Cinco:

Cool stonework.
Hub got me shoes and blouses for b day. You can never have enough shoes.
Far too risky for a risk adverse person like me. It isn't making money, is it?

TESLA is a like a lot of tech companies, lots of promises but not really delivering. So they have a better golf car for the rich. What happens when it is no loner the talk of the elite dinner parties?
I would never suggest shorting. I have no problem calling something an obvious short. Liz is right, it is not investing.
I am officially in the neutral category regarding Tesla stock..but consider their car owners pretentious..
I've been places enough over the past few years in my friend's Model S to know that isn't always the case. For 90% it gets him around with no concern for range or price or finding a charger. Replaced a similarly priced BMW 7 series that would no doubt have sucked down $2500 of premium and an equal amount of "routine" service. Insurance about the same. He's way ahead for now. The new CA registration fee and monster jump in insurance rates will narrow the gap.
Tax Incentives would buy a lot of free gas. The maintenance schedule is part of the I can pay punishment. My 99 Silverado has never had any fluids changed except the T case under warranty. Original brakes. I just put shocks on at 137K miles. What will be battery replacement cost and how much gas would it buy, If you keep a TESLA in the long run I suspect you lose. IMO
I buy cap For s and run them with low maintenance a distance nearmy to the moon. I like driving a beat up car. If it gets another nick, I just don't care. And mostly all cars look the same to me.
Cheap Fords nearly to the moon
Now, if you have decorated a fabulous room, or have a wonderful piece of jewelery or a rare Hieronymbus Bosch, or A Holbein, I will be super impressed, and you will attain all the status that you seek.
The near total silence on Trump's coup in securing a Syrian cease-fire in the MSM is troubling. It will no doubt be tweet fodder soon.
The '98 Expedition is about to double in value. New coil overs f $50 + 50 install) and tires (don't a$k) and a tank of gas ($55). Oh and a blinker bulb.
yeah..him & Melania rocked the G20..Syrian ceasefire was for a small section of the country (which has been tried before)...twt
He doesn't seem to tweet when abroad
three today..about a half dozen yesterday..in between a very full meeting schedule
Well... Having dinner it the old fashioned way (except for having the stones delivered), I'll say it can be done, but having a lot of bodies helps. We never had more that three men at one time. My wife pitched in, moving rollers from the back to the front, etc. Those extra hands helped too...
Would you be impressed with a 5000lb granite staircase?
Done it... DYAC
Gluten morning.😀
Happy Birthday to me.
Happy B-Day Liz!
Thx
How much does a Tesla cost?
Why should anyone want one? Status only? Quality? No gas? That's silly considering price.
Wakey wakey East Coasters.
Cr missed a day of posting. Hmmmmm.
Trump doesn't tweet when he goes overseas. Does that mean he can control it after all? I need to get up and be taken to birthday bteakfast.
He's in Europe seeing the sights. Who has time to tweet?
He'll catch up on the flight back. Probably be a tweet storm then.
I'm enjoying the CNN meme war though.
Good Morning world!
Great to see a commonsense Rebel at the world elitist party.
The Bugs Bunny v Yosemite Sam and Roadrunner v Coyote memes are the best.
There's an old (racist) cartoon that would be perfect about a very short Indian chief and a very short moose he is hunting. That would be perfect.
I has to be deeply unsettling that Trump is so self assured that he didn't need to follow the elaborate diplomatic protocols they all felt the need to hide behind.
Things on for the week.
The August 21 eclipse.
RBOB diesel price parity.
"Goofus and Galant" houses.
The first production tomatoes and Tesla Model 3s.
Dead tree news and a personal timeline.
Maybe something about politics if there is room.
Any additional suggestions?
Nebraska clawing to be tourist attraction is pedaling the eclipse for traffic.
Always interested in jobs of the future for the common person. Will they make a come back or not?
A/C job finished, back to wiring the shed for the Miller 330-bp and the small plasma cutter.
My niece is absolute dead center of maximin totality.
220v? Possibly even three phase? Nah. Having 220v and 200A service is great.
220v single. Machine can do 440v and 660v. I have 200 amp service but not to the shed. I want to bury a cable but an 8' retaining wall makes it difficult. so another time if the need comes about. I built race cars on a dryer out let in the past.
Our hotel room is dead center. We registered a year ago.
Gave another speech on the revolution war, which was liked by the unitarians
Up 300$
Liz, you won't believe me when I tell you what happened to the Dawghaus price.
New post. I'll tell you there.
It went up or down.
