Do We Have A Runner?

For all his talk Casey is not facing his problems. And now with his last round of posts I detect that moment of clarity just before doing something final. Talk of Vancouver. Getting affairs in order.

So, what do you think? Do we have a runner?

***I posted this (#65 comment) under the last CS post***

Casey is toast, we all know that and realized this fact early on. There is no feasible way for him to "pay back every dirty penny" until he A) gets a six figure salary or B) wins a mutlimillion dollar lottery. (I was going to put even odds on either of those happening but with his work ethic the lottery is more likely!)

For those of us not sharing CS's fuzzy thought process, what do you think the best way to handle this situation would be?

At this point I think our favorite flipper failure should hit the road with as much cash as he can scrounge up and live in Mexico for the rest of his life. Is this ethical/moral? Of course not, he'll just be running from his responsibilities like a little b*tch but lets face it, he has no other choice and he's been doing just that from the beginning.

BK is out (legal prosecution/jail time).

Paying it all back is flat out impossible.

Continuing to flip property is also impossible. He has no money, backers or credit score. Plus the fact that he runs IAFF and airs out all his dirty laundry.

What do you all think?

PS. I hadn't seen this letter but check it out, it is how the letter he sent friends and family right at the beginning of his blogging debacle.

January 19th, 2007 at 9:17 am Yes Casey, YOU are going to prison.

Not that white collar, county club prison, but the big boy, a$$ pounding, cigarette trading prison.

You have been warned and warned, but you wouldn’t listen.

The local, state and federal authorities have all been notified.(BY ME)

Good luck trying to squirm ourt of this one!!!!!!! I see lots of pain and agony in your future(plus D_I_V_O_R_C_E)

102. Tired of you Casey
January 19th, 2007 at 9:49 am I’m sick and tired of you now Casey. You keep adding BS after BS on top of more BS. Casey claims:

“Instead of just throwing in the towel and letting all those houses go to foreclosure I am trying to do everything I can to pay back as much of the money back to my lenders as possible. I feel that’s the responsible thing to do, especially since I used liar loans.”

Notice Casey says that he is “trying to do anything” But then you notice he starts off this blog with this statement:

“The problem is… qualifying, taking calls and showing the home takes a lot of time/effort. Since I am not making any money on the wrap / lease option, there is no financial incentive for me. That’s why it’s hard to justify sinking a lot of time or money into it. I need to start focusing more on moving forward instead of trying to save a bunch of sinking ships.”

And it’s ok for Casey to go to Denny’s, Jamba Juice, Macaroni Grill, Real Estate Investing Colleges, Pay $550 Rent instead of living in one of your home,$200+ CellPhone Bills,Pay for G’s school, Tithe, and the list goes on and on. Does that sound like someone who is willing to do anything to pay back his lenders? It’s all BS.

Casey doesn’t give a rat’s @$$ about anything other than himself. And Casey has no intention of paying anyone back. Which I don’t blame Casey for because it is impossible to get out of this. But Casey keeps saying he’s doing everything he can to pay every dirty cent back. It’s all BS. And I’m sick of it. So what has he done so far other than add more debt. But the fact that he keeps thinking that borrowing more money is gonna get him out of this mess is really pissing me off more now. His latest idea of borrowing money to pay off G’s credit card just proves it. I’m tired of you Casey. I have notified the Local Sheriff dept plus the Sac County Real Estate Fraud Unit of all your fraudulent activities. Every month, the taxpayers tab goes up 20K+. Every day you decide to go to Denny’s or Macaroni Grill instead of eating Top Ramen adds to the bill that taxpayers are gonna have to pay on your expense. I’m sick and tired of you. And people like you all belong in jail. You are no different than a guy who lost all that Cashback at closing by blowing it in Vegas. You have a history of being a scam artist and nothing has changed. You and G both belong in jail.

Anonymous said...

I posted a long rant last night about Casey wasting 20K on a scam artist, crap school. I told him my research proved that this "university" of his is a MLM and that he must be getting kickbacks to talk about it.

He never posted my message.

Basically, he hated that I called him on it. I called them a scam of the worst kind and warned him that I would publish the MLM angle at other boards in a follow up post.

That one is in moderation. Will he post it? I doubt it.

I find it despicable that this "looser" can't be honest. I thought he promised to stop lying?!?!?!?!

Reading this Casey? Don't think I won't post this elsewhere as well as pointing it out to the guvmint since they have taken a strong interest in you.

Anonymous 10:14: He doesn't WANT to pay it back THAT is what is funny.

He likes living a lifestyle he shouldn't be able to afford. He likes being able to go to Jamba Juice. He likes being the center of attention. He ENJOYS the critics. Makes him feel like a big man.

That scumbag didn't post my critique which makes me wonder if I hit a nerve.

Love the Logan's Run pic. Get out before you're "old" Casey!

Methinks we have a runner, but I've said that before. He won't account for what money he has spent, and he won't tell anyone specifically how MUCH money he took back at the close of each of his properties.

I stand by my original theory that there are coffee cans of money and passports buried in the back yard.

Softball anyone? SirCasey's getting awful testy lately.

Ok. i’m getting really tired of people saying that I’m ignoring good advice… I want to see a list of top 5 pieces of advice that was given to me on this blog and I will respond directly to why I have not implemented those strategies. (Make me a short numbered list 1-5)

Gawsh.......where do I start? JUST five? He's starting to rapid cycle again folks.

Jus' call me Rob Dawg the Sandman. Nitey nite Casey. ;-) At least he'll be "retired" by age 30!

His personalities, none of them, have a planning gene. If he had coffee cans he'd have dug 'em up by now for the last next sweet deal. He lacks discipline in every aspect.

jbjbj raises an aspect I hadn't even suspected. PASSPORTS. He was 12 when he immigrated. Think he ever got around to naturalizing when he turned 18? Lazyasshat probably never got around to it. Besides naturalization requires a demonstrated knowledge of US laws. Ahem. What's worse than a stretch in Folsom? Being a 24 year old numbnutz standing on the tarmac in that stupid hat staring at Uzbecki signs he can't read clutching deportation papers he doesn't understand looking around for a Jamba Juice with wi-fi service.

I can dream can't i?

Anonymous said...

Robert--

Long time lurker, first time poster. Most of the other readers have already articulated my thoughts on the subject, but the issue of passports/naturalization is one I wanted to weigh in on. In a nutshell, Casey is almost certainly now a US citizen. There are a few fairly compelling reasons for my thinking so.

1. He and his family immigrated over here legally when he was still very much a minor. His entire immediate family, as far as anyone can tell, still lives in the US, and one of his brothers is a Marine. My guess is that his parents became citizens and filled out the papers for the kids while they were at it. You're right; Casey doesn't have enough follow-through to file the tedious citizenship paperwork, etc. himself.

2. Casey's original first name was Konstantin, which is now his middle name. (Other people have speculated that "Aleksey" was his original name--that's his father's first name, whose e-mail account he was using to post his first ponzi scheme at 14.) He has since legally changed his name via the US court system, which isn't something that's easy (or feasible, methinks,) if one is a foreign national.

3. Casey and Galina got married in the US. It's a hell of an uphill battle to get a marriage license if one or both parties isn't a citizen, and methinks that neither scatterbrained Casey nor his hot-tempered princess wife would have the combined patience and foresight to take care of the questions/planning/foresight to pull off that endeavor.

So yeah, Casey's almost certainly a naturalized Yankee. I don't think running back to Uzbekistan (where ethnic Russians aren't particularly welcome,) or Mother Russia proper is going to do any good; as Americanized as they are, Casey and Galina are going to stick out like sore thumbs if they try to hide, and both seem to have a knack for rubbing people the wrong way. Plus, neither Russia nor Uzbekistan is going to be particularly keen on fighting extradition of a now-American crook that neither country truly considers "one of theirs."

Just my .02!

Rob Dawg said...

KW, you are probably right. Mom and dad likely had him as a minor on their applications.

My only issue is with "Yankee." I'm a Yankee, my forebears snuck across the Canada/US border fair and square to settle down and become frugal New Englanders. Yankees. Everything Casey isn't.

Thanks for your insight.

KW: Ever hung out or lived around newly arrived Russians? I actually think C&G would fit in well in Moscow.

Why? They live way above their means and every Russian emigre I've ever known is in hock like there's no tomorrow. Gucci this, True Religion jeans, expensive clothes, cars, et al are the required fashion and these folks do love their luxury goods!

I posted 5 points at Casey's blog and copied them to here if he declines to post (like he did on my post about his scam university):

What's wrong Casey? Have we all struck a nerve???

Advice given to you that any SMART person would use:

1) Declare Bankruptcy. Discharge as much debt as possible. You sit here on your high horse sharing your new age-isms like "early riser" and calling us "haters" when in fact that crap has no use in LIFE. YOU dug the hole, WE suggested you do this! If the BK court turns you down, so be it. But if they don't get you for fraud, the lenders may. So basically, TRYING to file isn't such a BAD idea or is it too much work?

2) Get a freaking job! You are NOT a businessman. YOU ARE NOT a RE investor. Buying 8 properties in a year does not make you an investor. So what? You are losing your financial health by wasting time on scams like the Nouveau Riche University and all these crap concepts (C-Corp business loans that would be ILLEGAL as that constitutes co-mingling and FRAUD). Find work to pay the bills. Borrowing from Peter to pay Paul is NOT work.

3) LIVE in one of your houses. Why the heck not? Oh yes, too much work. If anything, you lose the other houses through short sales and foreclosure (unfortunate, but necessary) and you LIVE in one of the homes. Make a new deal with the lender and follow advice #2. How freaking hard is this?

4) Stop with the weird highs and lows. They aren't helping you and they give the blog a sense of bogusness (to use a word that you may be using). One minute you are in a great mood, the next you are not. You ignore good advice and attribute to "hating." Time for you to nut it up and be a man and stop being a little boy.

5) I think blogging is a good thing for you. THIS could be a business for you. Again, YOU ARE NOT a RE investor. Ignore this point all you like but your talent is in designing and running blogs apparently. Watching you wallow in mistake after mistake only proves that RE isn't for everybody and it PROVES the gurus are all scam artists.

I know he HATES this stuff, so I will not stop until I see more truthfulness from our little con artist.

Dolph--

Yes, I used to live in a town that had a huge Russian immigrant population. I also understand that a lot of former Soviets that all of a sudden got their hands on a buncha credit get "kid in a candy store" syndrome(much like lottery winners,) and tend to spend, spend, spend 'til the credit fairy bites them hard in the ass. This isn't what would distinguish Casey and Galina in Mother Russia or Uzbekistan; it's the fact that Casey (and I'm going to assume Galina, as well,) are admittedly more fluent in English than Russian at this point, both have a largely American frame of reference for over half of their lives if they came over here at a similar (young) age, and would probably find it harder than they think to invent entirely half of their life stories in whatever countries they run to without slipping up somewhere. Plus, not having the proper paperwork for [insert country to run to here] would be a beeyatch, and they have little to no money to buy fakes. (Or rent housing, for that matter.) I dunno; maybe counterfeiting rubles'll be one of Casey's first scams if he makes it back to the Old World. Point taken, though.

On another note though, I'd like to give you, Homey, et. al, some massive schadenfreuderrific kudos for the dirt you dug up on Chris/Nouveau Riche University, and reposting your deleted/censored comments over here for the rest of us to see. Thanks, man!

Speaking of Nouveau Riche University, does anyone have the story on the agency they claim to be accredited by? They just *can't* be legit, but I can't prove it. I've been in academentia but in a different field, so there was a different outfit on the wide end of that particular wedge.

They say the are not accredited. They just have some college credit recommendatuions from ACE.

ACE seems like a legit entity:

Who cares if they are accredited or not?

Meaning #1: a person who has suddenly risen to a higher economic status but has not gained social acceptance of others in that class
Synonyms: upstart, parvenu

The adjective nouveau-riche has one meaning:

Meaning #1: characteristic of someone who has risen economically or socially but lacks the social skills appropriate for this new position
Synonyms: parvenu, parvenue, upstart

Yeah, I want that.

Thanks KW. What infuriates me about this guy is that when I was his age, I was working a 40 hr/week manager job, running a small production thang as a hobby, interning for free at a record company and going to school.

I have ZERO sympathy for the laziness of Casey. The kid thinks I probably wasted my time because I am 38 and still working. So what, I say to him. I'd rather be working on stuff that I love while having the means to take vacations to exotic places, go see as many baseball games as I want (huge BB fan here!) while being able to sit as close to the field as I wish to spend, seeing the Stones and other bands many times over, you get the picture.

I just bought my second house (first with my wife). I've made money in the stock market and I just can't understand what this kid is thinking or why he is so in love with the quick buck!

Anonymous said...

Also, I think Casey shows that you can teach people things, but not everybody is cut out to take the booksmarts and turn it into something tangible.

I think Casey likes the idea he knows all this stuff, but he has ZERO mental ability to use guts and intuition to do what is necessary to win.

You know what it is?

Does anyone watch American Idol? You know the people that can't sing, but try anyway? Everyone thinks they are fake, but I can tell you they aren't.

Dolph can back me up on this. On the side, and just for fun, I do a little work as a recording engineer. I can't tell you how many people I've seen that have no business being on the microphone side of a recording studio. But nothing, and I mean NOTHING can convince them they won't be a star.

It just occurred to me that Casey is that person that can't carry a tune, but will always have stars in their eyes, they just need someone else to recognize all that talent they see in themselves...

@JimBobJoeBobJim:

I care because claiming that the school is accredited and credits are transferable might make the school look legit to some people. Casey has cited it as evidence that the place is a "real college". In fact, I'd be very surprised if any legitimate university transferred those credits as anything useful.

@notme:

Hm. I could've sworn they claimed to be accredited.

Anonymous said...

Jim Bob:

LOL...you are correct, sir. I can't begin to count how many lame home recordings I get at any given time over the course of the year.

On top of that, if we listen to the recordings and hear some promise, the artist will not take kindly to any kind of questions or suggestions to become better.

When you tell them that it's just not good enough (I will only answer the emails coming in asking if I liked the demo) they go off on me and tell us to f*** off. They'll be famous and we'll be sorry for not working with them...all kinds of craziness.

One time, I was consulting for a rap label. These 3 dudes walk in and look around. The label was in a small, one room office suite, so space was limited so you can imagine how it looked.

These cats stare at me (I think they were shocked that me and the other guy are white, but down with the music) then they start doing this rap routine. Each guy broke into verse and rapped about killing people and whatnot. We didn't like to sign rappers who act like gangsters. Our style is the whole underground "backpacker" sound where it's all about phrasing technique and DJ ability.

Anyway, these guys are so loud, I am surprised that the finance company next door didn't call the cops. They go on for about 3 minutes and then ask us if that was "dope." Well, I personally thought that the lyrics were weak and the flow was average at best. I look over to the owner of the label and we stare at each other with that "you say something" look. I finally did. I took the high road and told them they were good but that maybe they'd be better off sending demos to labels instead of just walking in. That did not set well with them. They asked me how it's right I should say that to them ?!?!?!?! We both looked at each other like "oh S**t, we're f-ed." They kept talking and we asked if they had a demo tape or CD on them. They did. We said we'd listen to it some more and get back to them (argh).

To make a long story short, we never called them. They left in a huff because we didn't make them an offer to make a record. LOL, what did they expect? From that point on, we locked the door when in the office :)

Anonymous said...

Relating my last post to Casey it's simple...Jim Bob is right there. Casey is the guy who NEEDS to succeed because everybody tells him how smart he is, how shrewd he is. He sees others with "less talent" than him (in his eyes of course) making money at the RE game. Add to that all the gurus telling him how easy it is and voila, you get delusional Casey who has NO concept of how to do anything because he has ZERO practical experience in this world.

He would have benefitted from an internship under a person who could SHOW him the ups and downs of deal making. He could have seen the negotiating process and seen what works.

Noooo, he takes some classes and assumes he's good because the book says so. Same as the singer who is tone deaf and their friends say how great they are. They figure if an average singer like Clay Aiken or whatnot can make it (Clay can sing, but I believe the person who thinks their better is judging by his look and not his voice).

It's really freaking sad.

Anonymous said...

Dolph, you and I could probably swap stories for days. There is probably a chance that I have been responsible for some of those crappy recordings you've had to sit through. For that, I apologize.

Ogg, I see your point. I forget that someone will not see the insult inherent in the name Nouveau Riche, and instantly be turned off. But I think NR is going for exactly what you mention: the appearance of being a legit college. Personally, I can't read the ACE page without my bullshit meter going into the red. But you're right, they are misleading...

I have some inside information to pass on to all you casey fans.

From my understanding casey will be leaving the good old US of A here real soon. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this dude here is what I can pass on.Casey is a master of survival techniques. The guy can live off of nuts and grubs found in a jungle or forest.Galina has informed me that he will be leaving for, of all places, brazil. He has property there and plans to build a camp so he can get his shit togehter. You have to hike to the camp, no roads for 3 miles. There is a spring on the property so he does have water. This is all I can tell you right now.

I'd be a runner, but I doubt he has the sense (or any cash left).

In his situation, all he has to do is make the border, walk across as a tourist, and disappear.

It's not like anyone's tailing him 24/7.

But he'll rationalize he's done nothing wrong, and won't prepare for the endgame.

Just like the Enron folks, who were literally a hop, skip, and a jump away from freedom.

They had several _years_, even after coming under investigation, to plan and make good their escape, but like Casey, their ego got in the way.

LOL...I noticed that too. He passed on one of mine where I challenged his scam posts about NRU. I kept posting with little dares like "I will post this elsewhere if you decide to not approve this" or something like that.

I learned that from Robert since I noticed that CS knows he will post it here just to be safe.

That is how we should do it. If Casey knows that more and more traffic is coming here, he will be less likely to edit our posts. Notice how he's responding to the scarier ones but prefacing that it was moderated off the site?

I am planning to continue hammering him until I get a satisfactory response. If it never comes, so be it.

As for his home buyer network, yep, it's got to be affiliated. If I find anything that backs up our belief, I'll post it.

Also, I believe Chris Record has to be a serious scammer. Have you read his various Myspace and Web site postings? Wow...I would NEVER trust somebody who works so hard to sell guru-istic crap like that.

Still really bored with Casey, but Logan’s Run reminds me of being with my dad at a drive-in movie theater and discussing how f-ed up everything was (he liked drive-in’s ‘cause he could bring a case of Rainier Ale and none of his patients or horrid new stepmother my half-sister’s age). I hate cars and fossil fuel, but whatever happened to drive-in theater’s? There was something simultaneously private and public that was interesting – and you could bring the dogs with you.
Of course, we can recreate it in a virtual space recreation of another virtual space that was a recreation of another virtual space ad infinitum…Eternal return, etc.
Anyway, the last weekend I went camping with my Dad before he died unexpectedly, he told me to keep running.

To Ogg, though I don't have the time to research ACE, I do know of a game that a lot of diploma mills played in the 80's.

Going to a school that isn't accredited is a waste of time and money. While scam schools have a hard time getting legitimate accreditation, owners of scam schools have found that there are no regulations preventing them from setting up their own accreditation agency.

Keep in mind that I am not saying that this is the case with NR University and ACE. The layers upon layers of fictitious businesses involved in those kind of scams take a while to unravel. I have done no research on NR University and ACE.

The only thing I am relying on is memory, and the sound reputation of Casey and his friend Chris.

Off topic, has anyone looked at the whois information on www.caseyserin.com ? The admin records shows an email address of recordchris@yahoo.com . The photo album attached to the account ( http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/recordchris/album?.dir=ce41&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/recordchris/my_photos ) gives you a humorous insight to the life of a real estate tycoon.

I'm particularly fond of cars like this fine 1991 Acura Legend ( http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/recordchris/detail?.dir=ce41&.dnm=692b.jpg
) that Chris was flipping for a living 3 1/2 years ago.

That Chris Record character makes my skin crawl.

Anonymous said...

Oh this just gets uglier and uglier. Just looked at Chris's MySpace account--very prominent NRU plug there. Also saw his Yahoo pics. I like the pic next to the BMW at the dealership (who takes pictures at the dealership?), "Imagine in white, with platinum . . ." I can, and my first reaction was WHITE TRASH, and then I though NOUVEAU RICHE. Except without the Riche part.

I don't know who originally posted on Chris, who he is, or how he was connected with NRU but I'm assuming he's the Chris that Casey keeps talking about in reference to his $3,000 month job. I wonder if that's $3k in some MLM terms, like find me 10 more new recruits and you'll get paid. Is that what Casey's mysterious "consulting" involoves? I don't remember the exact order of things, but I have a feeling Chris lured Casey into the NRU scam, got him to dump $20k into the classes, and now has him working to expand their pyramid.

That would explain why Casey has been so secretive about NRU, Chris, and why he has been so adamant about defending NRU and stating that it is not an MLM, although he then details that he hasn't joined as a manager or whatever. Just like MLMs, NRU seems to have different levels of participation based on ability to recruit and the amount of $$$ spent (e.g., Regent level, Masters level). Pefect. "Man, I don't need no steenking school, I don't need no steeking degree, here's $50k and five new recruits, make me a regent biyatch!"

Lastly, I can't believe Casey posted my link on his site. His blog is crashing in a fireball. Tee hee hee, I've been a baaaad baaaad boy. Dawwn-kaaaaih!

The little dork edited out my comment about NRU. He inserted ... in place of it.

Funny, I was kind of testing to see if a long message would be ignored. Probably my posts are on his hitlist, so he reads every word.

I posted my rebuttal in Robert's newest entry. I am daring him to post.

Let's see if it works. I recommend we all do that when posting stuff that might make him hit delete.

Anonymous said...

Maybe it's like this:

Casey is so convinced he's right in his approach with the get-rich-qick guru stuff and the De-Voe Reach MLM, he's allowing all these insulting comments through as "evidence". Then, when he suddenly succeeds, evades prosecution, and gets rich, WHAM! He'll throw it in the haters' negative faces. Casey victorious!

I think, at the heart of it, Casey might well be stupid and possibly crazy. I think he is corrupt and deluded to the core of his being, so that no light can get in. It's unfortunately a common condition.

Casey is like one of those failed freakshow American Idol contestants, who become militantly angry and defiant when informed they can't sing. He's convinced he's a genuine hussla, despite all proof otherwise.

Rob Dawg said...

NRU is a scam and Chris Record is scary. That bit with the mob picture? Something out of a reality series about spoiled rich kids of Santa Cruz.

The Casey Show is getting pretty dull. How much more outrage is there to exploit?

Galina is gonna have to turn up preggers to get me back. At first I thought young and gulible. Then I added sloppy/lazy. Then came the suspicion that he took the short yellow bus to school. I've resisted Gen Y stereotypes but a Jetta?

Yah, I can see Casey trying to pull a runner to Canuckastan.

It might not work out for him however. I have the feeling that unbeknownst to casey he is already the subject of law enforcement scrutiny at the federal and local level. I just think they are leaving him alone for the time being to see what else shakes down from the tree. (Face it, he's all but implicated his super sechsay awesome realtor Amy in 'Fishy Business'. So what's their incentive in picking him up early, he's doing their footwork for them? Also, he actively is turning evidence over on his blog).

Once he runs there is a fair chance of warrants and such being issued, and he may well find that while our friends to the north are not so super keen on turning over deserting soldiers, deadbeat conmen are another kettle of serin entirely.

So back he will come.

I think people have the Casey and G. dynamic wrong however. I get the feeling that casey is the one with the low IQ - as evidenced by his puppy like devotion to new-age mumbo-jumbo, affirmations, jamab juice health promises and the prounouncements of gurus. Face it, the kid is a sad putz that will fall for the most implausible of scams.

On the other hand, consider G: Our plucky young hero seems to have gotten an awful lot of cash back at closing and on dodgy credit lines which apparently has been spent on G.'s shoe inventory and other similar goodies. And even though she seems to have helped him structure some of these deals, he is still trying to take the bullet for both of them. When all is said and done, I see casey going down, and G skipping off, not a care in the world, in a new pair of manolo blahniks to her next victim.

So I fail to see how she's the victim here. In fact I am willing to bet she knows exactly what she is doing: which is why she hasn't dumped him yet. If she does it too early - i.e. before this has worked its way through the legal system - then there is a risk that casey would turn 'states evidence' on her.

As it stands right now, spousal privilege for the win. (legally and metaphorically).

If Casey is trying to cover for Galina, he is doing in it in the stupidest way possible. He said more than enough to implicate her in everyone he's involved in.

If he wanted to cover for her, maybe he should have seen how the Fastows cut their deal with the Feds. (Not legal advice to anyone, BTW)

Astrid.

He's voering for her in the stupidest way possible because he is a profoundly stupid boy.

That is not to say that he is not also of the criminal inclination. Obviously he is. It's just that they both are, and she's a damn sight better at it than casey.

...he is trying to create evidence that he thinks will be in his favor

A few days ago on Casey's site, someone made a post directed at his attempts at "plausible deniability". It basically said he wasn't fooling anyone. Cops tear dumb little kids apart when they try that shiz.

@ astrid

I don't think our comments our inconsistent. Note that I said "trying."

BK Boy,

Very true!

It's just hard for me to fathom that anyone is truly as stupid as Casey presents himself to be. I guess being bi-polar could really mess with his mind.

Now I get it. When Casey talks about "we" and groups of investors and the 24% return or whatever he is talking about this Chris Record and friends....

mOOm: Yep, he is talking about them.

I wouldn't even doubt it if Record threatens you once you ask them where your money is.

Hey, I just tried to post at Casey's site, and the moderation notice is new:

What does this mean?

I think it means that your comment is awaiting moderation by the blog owner, which typically takes 12-48 hours.

What's your interpretation?

My interpretation, considering this announcement differs from those preceding on his blog, is that Casey is newly distracted, and can no longer deliver his usual stellar performance in post-moderation. He needs more time. Considering that his online history is that of someone who spends time spinning his wheels blogging while neglecting life's duties, this must mean that demands are being made that cannot be ignored. Casey is under the gun. The walls are closing in. The pressure is mounting. Casey may explode and splatter, spray-painting the walls with his low-class, ignorant vitals. In that debris, may a sensitive seer divine, among the entrails, the future of the housing industry and that of mortgage-backed securities.
