From what I hear CNET is doing a followup. The Sac Bee & USA Today have been
contacted. No ETA as to of they will run with it or when.
Things should start to escalate now that Serin has gone underground. As
laughable as it sounds, he's obviously feeling the heat and is trying damage
control as much as possible by shutting down IAFF and the flicker account.
We both know they have been captured many times by those who have an
interest. I suspect the various lenders and LEA's will begin to proceed
with their respective cases, seeing that Serin cannot provide them anymore (
as if needed) evidence which they may use against him, Galina, and others
involved.
Do not put it out of the realm of possibilities that Galina turns over on
him. She is facing mutliple counts of bank, wire, and other fraud. Remember,
hell hath no fury like a scorned woman. Serin has openly stated he wishes
to divorce her. That will allow her to testify against him. At this point, I
would not be surprised if Serin's immediate family is forced to distance
themselves and are drawn into the legal and civil mess.
Also, there are a number of real estate agents, mortgage brokers,
appraisers, sellers, and lenders that have explaining to do. This affair is
now not about Serin. He may be the main target, but as you are aware, when
the subpoenas and lawsuits begin, the net is cast far and wide, with much
discretion. I would encourage as many EN'ers to contact Serin's lenders,
the various LEA's, the FTB, and the IRS, and push them to prosecute. The
squeaky wheel and all.... Even if they tell you they already know about
Serin, tell them how you feel about this. These decisions on whom to
prosecute are many times decided on politics and public opinion. There are
hundreds of Serin's. Make the case why Serin need to be singled out.
I have been extremely busy on other projects, but I will try and devote some
time this week to Serin.
You can inform Rob of this and even post this one reply on EN if you
want.
Done. Thanks Homey.
