Disturbing News...
Casey teases us with "As for the bankruptcy attorney… I am hoping to have an update on that soon.. I found out something disturbing from him." Possibilities:
1. I got your wife pregnant.
2. The DA served a warrant on your file and no, privledge does not apply.
3. U B Fooked
4. All your Jetta belonging to me.
5. You'll need that hat where they're sending you.
6. Do the words Gulag and Patriot Act means anything to you?
7. Bubba stopped by to say "hi."
8. The SEC and FTB got into a wicked bitchslap in my office.
9. Prblinkbiz owns your ass. No, they -own- your -ass-. Didn't you think their insisting on a signature in blood was a little strange?
Go wild.

Casey Serin is a gay man....
"not that there's anything wrong with that!" :)

11. You are getting off scott free
12. I had sex with your wife on the Blue Ball
13) You cannot file for bankruptcy because you comitted fraud. You cannot discharge any of your debts. Your wife's credit is also fucked. Enjoy paying off 2.2 million.

Anal boy is in deep sh@t.Any volunteers to service his wife and debt while he is in the pokey?
Galina looks like a sweet ride but man, the maintainence costs and upkeep...
Any sweet pictures of Galina on the Internet. The one i've seen is weak with the arty blur that Casey pretends is accidental.
Looks like sercasey accidentally let some critical information slip to his BK attorney. Like, perhaps the factoid that he is trying to obtain additional credit through a shell corporation, or some of the details regarding his stated-income loans that he glossed over during the initial meeting...
BK Lawyer: "Soooo, Casey. I hate to bring this up but ow re you going to pay m?"
Casey: "Hey, no problem. I've purchased this 4 ear easoned corporate shell using a 6 month interest only balloon loan at 60%. I'll use that to get a line of credit, pay off my wife's cards and use the rest to...
BK Lawyer: [Hands over ears, eyes screwed shut, dancing from foot to foot, shouting: "Nah, nah, nah nah! I caaaaan't heeaaar youuuuu!"
Looks as if Casey is having second thoughts about the corporate credit thang:
"TO the person who provided the link to CA Corporate code, thank you for that… looks like what I am doing is shady, I going to investigate into that. I can still back out of this thing. I’m trying to take advantage of every LEGAL and ETHICAL opportunities I can to get out of my mess but I don’t want to get into GRAY area like I did before. I really need to be getting more legal advice on all this stuff, not just running it by people, but actually pay for quality legal advice (takes $$ but it is probably going to be WELL worth it if it saves me from serious trouble)"
If he truly is worried about ethics and the like, why wouldn't he know this is shady stuff he is looking at?
Wow.
P.S. - He is soooo freaking lazy, it's just pitiful.
Legal and ethical, harumph! The kid wants to be legal and ethical, yet, he thought that buying a shell corp would give him quick cash?
How Casey? So what if a company is four years old and current with it's filings. You will still need to show a creditor that your company makes money. Once the lender looks at D&B or the other credit worthiness providers they will run screaming.
He doesn't understand that small companies NEED to provide the personal guarantees of the owners/majority shareholders.
When I started my C-Corp, the only lender that would give me unsecured credit without a personal guarantee was Staples. They only approved me because I gave them our Staples rewards # and they saw how much we purchase quarterly on supplies. THAT was the reason we were approved.
He's a clueless maroon who needs to seriously STOP with the get rich quick stuff. The Corp idea will be so bad if he does it. He doesn't understand that the state and IRS frown upon businesses with ZERO earnings and loads of debt.
If this corporation exists solely to pay off Casey's personal debts, how was he proposing to generate the income to pay off these new debts?
Certainly, any halfway competent lender would want to know this, and with Casey's credit rating I suspect they'd want to know one hell of a lot more besides.
And if they Google 'Casey Serin', they'd find a whole series of what are effectively signed confessions admitting what he really planned to do with the corporate credit lines.
How can Casey not foresee any of this? I'm no-one's idea of a hard-nosed businessman and I spotted the pitfalls from the second he first floated the idea!
If this corporation exists solely to pay off Casey's personal debts, how was he proposing to generate the income to pay off these new debts?
Like, duh, by borrowing more money. Sounds like a sweeeet deal to me!
So it looks like our favorite little snowflake is now attempting to avoid foreclosure on Muncy…
“Sorry guys, I’m busy putting together a short sale package for Muncy property and its urgen so maybe we can save that one from foreclosure… and then I have a meeting with my local Rich Dad to discuss some possible deals… will get back soon to moderation and latest updates on doing short sales on the rest of my properties, via a realtor ‘cuz I’m tired of fighting those things on my own and trying to find buyers to take over payments, no money and no time for that right now… “
The Muncy property is into the first for like $270k. Young Casey thinks if he can short sale for $230k like it might be worth he's good. He ignores the second mortgage holder that won't agree. Total snipe hunt on his part. All theater no content.
At least he understands that he has run out of time. Now, why avoid another foreclosure? People here in our civil and open forum have suggested it might look better in the bankruptcy. I don't get that. A single BKhas got to look better and clear faster than the "What's Up Doc?" court scene he's setting up.
Robert,
You forget that his petition for BK will be contested for fraud. His loans have all gone bad within the first year, an automatic trigger event for review of all of the documents. Why would he wish to hasten his demise by filing for BK? Everday I read stories of people sent to jail that have done the exact same thing Casey has pulled. Dumb he is, but stupid he ain't.
I'm surprised that Casey mentioned discussing deals with local Rich Dad. I got the feeling based on Dustin's comment that there was a falling out of some sorts.
For those of you that don't visit Casey's site, here's what he said:
What’s wrong with you people?
Why are so many seemingly intelligent people rubber necking on the train wreck that is Casey’s life? It’s over, move along, nothing to see here.
Casey hit the wall long ago; I was giving him this kind of advice before he even had a blog. He can’t be reached, even by his real friends. Just let him self destruct, that’s what he has been programed to do, this isn’t your battle to fight. Really, you’re input and advice is at best masturbatory and you all should be ashamed for wasting your time here.
Want to help Casey? Leave him and this website alone, stop reading and posting!
I don't know what the 'deals' could be that they are going to discuss. Real estate or computer support? I don't know anything about local Rich Dad, has anyone here dug up anything on how successful he might be?
What bankruptcy?
He can't even bother to return a few phone calls.
He'll never get around to filing BK voluntarily.
I doubt he'll even move fast enough to short sale Muncy, regardless of how much he talks about it on the blog.
I bet next week he loses it via a trustee sale.
Which is probably better for him anyway.
yeah I've heard so much about these galina pictures. are there any out there?
Anyone bidding on that POS next week?
Here's a few pictures for you, courtesy of Casey:

First time writer, long time anti-Casey reader :-)
I just wanted to say, I did a semi-rewrite of the Wikipedia article on Casey Serin. I managed to find both his and Galina's birth dates through a public records search.
Let me know what you think!
oh yeah, if it's not too obvious, the article is located here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casey_Serin
If I see the Hawaii Serinescape photo one more time, I think I’ll ruin my laptop; however, http://static.flickr.com/51/130659596_44e53fd6ca_o.jpg is intriguing. Who is the one in the middle?
Cute as a button she is, in some of those photos. But like someone else said, she's got Babushka written all over her! If she's got those curves at 23, imagine at 46. Which is about when Casey will be getting out of jail? (Just kidding. Maybe he'll be out before she's 30.)
Still, shouldn't harp on her appearance (good or bad); we should be worried more about her ignorance -- or her complicity in the whole scam/debacle that Casey has underway right now. And her ruined career prospects.
So it's Jan 18th now, 6 days till the "surpriiiiise!" trustee sale of the Muncy house. And he thinks he can line up a buyer for that thing on a short sale before then! Ha ha! Oh boy, what a dreamer.
Is Galina's brother in jail?
In another thread, someone dug up Galina's maiden name of Suprun and mentioned her sister is Mariya (and on Myspace). Checking the Sacramento County records, there appears to be a 20 year old brother Sergey. It just so happens there is also a 20 yo Ilya Sergeyevich Suprun in the Placer County jail (and what appears to be a judgement against him in Sac county)!
I just wanted to say, I did a semi-rewrite of the Wikipedia article on Casey Serin. I managed to find both his and Galina's birth dates through a public records search.
Let me know what you think!
I've just added a new section devoted to Casey's catchphrases - at the moment it covers "sweet deals" and "repaying every dirty penny", but please go ahead and add others.
I also took the liberty of removing the opening-sentence description of him as "a criminal" - I know this looks like a statement of the obvious, but he hasn't yet been charged with anything, let alone tried and convicted. The last thing you want to do is give him scope for a successful libel suit - how ironic would that be?
Very readable wiki Michael.
Add Galina's maiden name?
Add a section of what not to do as demonstrated by Casey; multiple simultaneous closings, remote ownership, cash back at closing, hard money, burn rate...?
Perhaps you can slip crimal in with "criminal acts" which is wholly supported. Good job.
Some of the visitors to Casey's website today included the IRS, SEC, Countrywide, HSBC, Lending Tree, Suntrust, US Postal Service, State of California, and a bunch from Farifax Virginia that are not reversable ( hehe whom could that be?)
I'm thinking young Casey did finally get around to speaking with some sort of BK attorney, as the moderation and posting has ceased for a day.
never fear. even if an attorney told him to not post again our young casey would not be able to resist at least one more post. His blog is all he's got! After that he doesn't have much left. His wife for a little while longer perhaps.
casey just updated his spreadsheet. he admits to being underwater approximately $605,968.07
nice!
Anon 12:16,
Thanks so much for the heads up. I avoid that place these days exasperated with his slow revisions. Here's what I posted:
----
Spreadsheet needs a new line item: Tax Consequences. Your RE Net of -$294,583.91, more like -$330k comes with IRS and FTB obligations nearing an additional -$90,000.
Okay, now that you are $700k underwater and if the bleeding stopped today and if you started digging back out today what is the scenario? $8,000/mo to debt service after negotiating tax repayment terms.
Okay, back in Sept '06 several people told you this was what Feb '07 held in store. They were spot on. You had no idea at the time. What is different now? Did you suddenly vault ahead of them in expertise? If not, why are you refusing to follow their advice?
----
This is our money he's dissapating. I'm actually starting to get emotional about this.

Some responses so far:
I’m still amazed to what length people go to in order to dig stuff up on me. Example of that is the entry Leigh posted above from my personal blog that I used to have last year.
The blog was supposed to be hidden from public but there was actually a back-door and somebody found it. (Homey Da Clown was the first one to let me know he found it, but I’m sure there are other).
That personal blog wasn’t that big of a deal - just my daily log of activities - very detailed and usually pretty boring. I just wanted a record of everything I do daily and also let friends/family keep up with my life.
That was actually the blog that caused my last attempt at a cash-back-at-closing deal to fail last July and that’s how this blog started.
corpbrokersinc.com hooked me up with free consulting in exchange for me talking about my experience on the blog (good or bad). If somebody wants to use their services and uses my promo code (casey123) will save $500 and I get $500 referral fee. That’s all. I’m still not sure about the corporate credit thing. I sort of rushed into it but now I’m doing additional due diligence to make sure what I’m about to do is COMPLETELY above-board.
Our Jetta, aka “vdubs” is doing OK. I haven’t really addressed any of the issues except for finally change the oil since buying it. It runs for now and as soon as I get some more cash and/or time I will take care of the rest.
Johnny Quest and others - thank you for reminding me about trash days (even as a joke)… I almost forgot a couple of times until I heard the garbage truck come around
The “disturbing” news that Bankruptcy told me that is that if I declare bankruptcy there is a good chance I can be investigated for mortgage fraud. He had a client recently who actually got criminally charged for over-stating his income!
Hey Julian you never got back to me on the financial for your trailer park. I want to know for the last year:
1) gross income and breakdown of rents per unit
2) vacancy and cap rate in the area
3) itemized expenses including insurance, taxes, utilities, maintenance, management, repairs, advertising, capital improvements, etc
4) existing financing on the property, interest rate, type, etc
5) would the seller be willing to carry back financing?
6) asking price
*****
Enjoy,
Nebraska
I guess that means the correct answer was #3. That comment should be a post on its own. I can't believe Casey is trying to broker another cash-back financing deal!
Ha ha ha. I think I found out where Casey got the real estate "university" lead. OMG, you're not going to believe this. Has anyone seen those "Real Estate Investor Seeks Apprentice" signs plastered around Sacramento (or your city)? Yet another scam Casey got suckered into. See the following blog for details, HA HA HA HA: http://www.wcrt.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2580
To follow up, I just read that blog link I posted again. A couple thoughts. I remember reading the Nouveau Riche University name on IAFF blog before Casey edited it off. The description has all the hallmarks of what Casey was describing- friend goes for free, they have properties and investors lined up, etc. etc. The blog states that a one week course is $18,000! I think that blows Casey's "No Lying (for sure!)" resolution out of the water. The kid obviously knows what he is doing is wrong and will bring negative comments to him, but he goes through with it anyway and then lies to his audience. Maybe he was introduced to Noveau Riche through his prior cited "investing club," as my above referenced blog indicates as a means by which people were exposed to NR University.
Given other posts I've read that talk about Casey's history with multi-level-marketing (MLM), I'm wondering if IAFF is just another scheme for him to build a giant MLM pyramid. He has tremendous access to a pool of people to build his pyramid on. Could there be a new type of MLM pyramid based on site referrals or directs rather than selling stuff? Just a thought.
DirtDevil,
Could you recheck that link you posted? I got what looked like a search engine spam site when I copied & pasted it. Thanks...
It's very interesting to see who has been looking at Casey's site via the Site Meter button. Today in the comments Casey posted this:
Andrey, thanks for the tip in russian to run to Canada… I will consider it. I’ve been to Vancouver and really like it. Too cold though.
So today he gets a visitor from gc.ca, AKA the Canadian government.
Good luck crossing the border now Casey!
Google/blogspot had some troubles not specific to me. I'm very pleased at the level this communitiy has maintained.
From what?
IRS will not pursue forgiveness of debt income when you are insolvent, as many posters on Casey's site have already noted. He's clearly insolvent.

@Ogg
There's a small icon on IAFF that points to the sitemeter stats for the site. View by details and you can see the last 100 visitors to the site. Some of the hits we call "very interesting" might just be workers who are interested like, but I think its too much of a coincidence that all of these organizations hit the site as soon as a new post goes up. JP Morgan Chase has been very active recently.
http://www.sitemeter.com/?a=stats&s=s27iamfacingforeclosurecom&r=8
Ogg, glad to have you, you crack me up.
If you can't see the little sitemeter button underneath the tip jar, I assume you are using Fire Fox, or another good browser. Take a cave rock and smash it against the keyboard until you've turned on the sitemeter script, or just use the rusty old IE. I just tried it and it worked. It just went slow.

Many of you probably know this, but for those who don't, RealEstateCrash.RU's comment
"Привет, Casey!
Если на тебя повесят сотни тысяч долларов, то лучше уезжай в Канаду, там совершенно другая система кредитных историй и вообще законодательство.
Тогда просто не пересекай американскую границу, и все будет ОК.
Удачи, Андрей

translates as:
"Regards, Casey! If hundreds of thousands of dollars hang to you, then better leave to Canada, there completely different system of credit histories and generally legislation. Then simply do not intersect American boundary, and everything will be OK. Successes, Andrey"
I guess foreign languages/texts are not the best secret codes.
Ogg! My main [cave]man! Pull up a rock and sit a spell. Welcome.
Now if we can just gt a little poop on our shoes...
Anyway, lately my favorite recent "visitors" have been homestore.com [contrywide] and Pinkertons. The noose is tightening. 'Bout time.
My recent comment:
My bankruptcy attorney actually advised me to rescind that note immediately
That's it! Just rescind ALL your deals. Maybe if you can manage to hack back up that Jamba Juice you can get the bank to reverse the overdraft charge.
From what I understand, in California, I can just let the houses go to foreclose and the lender has no recourse against me.
What you think you understand has no bearing. Speaking as no expert or offering "advise" the single mortgage holder of a delinquent note can either go for payment or reposses but not both in cases with no fraud and no refinancing. Ooops.
What you don't know about your own situation could fill a book. Ohhh wait, in California there's that other law about profiting from the sale of criminal exploit stories.
I just wanted to thank you for your postings here. I saw that you guys were having a hard time getting some of the info on the wifey through, so I thought I would try to help. And he let it in. I was shocked. Anyway....I am sure there are many of "us" regular Casey readers that are coming here. All of you guys are fabulous, and even though Casey hasn't learned much, I assure you that I have.

Hey Robet -
Did you see the "sweet" deal Casey got from Corp Credit Brokers?
If you tell 'em "casey sent me" they give a person a $500 discount AND Casey get's a $500 referral fee.

Looks like someone (ahem), pointed out the Nouveau Riche University cost to Casey under his latest post. He bit BIG TIME, and responded. I guess he did pay a boatload for the week long school. Consequently, the 1+1 is that he did lie previously about how much he spent on this program. Can you imagine blowing close to 20 grand (including travel and lodging) on guru school while in the depths of debtor hell? He claims it's not a MLM scheme, but based on my link above, it sure as sh*t smells like it. Based on how I posted the link earlier today and how it mysteriously disappeared, I have a sneaking suspicion that the host site is run or sponsored by Nouveau Riche and they took it down when they saw the link here. Catch the Cache of the site (posted above) while you can!
DirtDevil,
Thanks for the cache link. The discussion on the WCRT site was very critical of NR--I'm surprised the topic wasn't censored if they are behind the WCRT site. On the other hand, it's suspicious that WCRT.com and WCRT.org have disappeared in the last 24 hours.
aaron here,
I use to post on Casey's site but stopped b/c he's an idiot and scammer. Since he doesn't want to BK for obvious reasons....what happens when all the properties are foreclosed, the bills keep coming etc. Can he be forced to BK? Otherwise he can ultimately avoid prosecution can't he? I don't know the answers to these questions. I thought maybe someone here might know as the intelligent folks have migrated over here for discussion about casey.
TIA
aaron:
there is a provision for creditors to file voluntary 7 (liquidate) and 11's (reorg) in bankruptcy --- its not used that often, but if a debtor is preferring one creditor, wasting assets or committing fraud, it can be done.
I doubt it will happen on Casey.
Casey's got a new sponsor House Buyer Network, and the "Stop Foreclosure" link leads to this advice [advise]
How to Stop Foreclosure
Contact the Lender
Absolutely the first step to avoid foreclosure is to contact the lender and let them know your situation. In many cases, they can work with you to temporarily modify payment terms until your situation is resolved.
Never, ever ignore late notices, letters or calls from your lender. They would much prefer to work together with you to resolve the situation, but will not hesitate to begin foreclosure proceedings if it appears that you are unwilling to work with them to avoid foreclosure.
Gosh Casey, who knew?
Casey is toast, we all know that and realized this fact early on. There is no feasible way for him to "pay back every dirty penny" until he A) gets a six figure salary or B) wins a mutlimillion dollar lottery. (I was going to put even odds on either of those happening but with his work ethic the lottery is more likely!)
For those of us not sharing CS's fuzzy thought process, what do you think the best way to handle this situation would be?
At this point I think our favorite flipper failure should hit the road with as much cash as he can scrounge up and live in Mexico for the rest of his life. Is this ethical/moral? Of course not, he'll just be running from his responsibilities like a little b*tch but lets face it, he has no other choice and he's been doing just that from the beginning.
BK is out (legal prosecution/jail time).
Paying it all back is flat out impossible.
Continuing to flip property is also impossible. He has no money, backers or credit score. Plus the fact that he runs IAFF and airs out all his dirty laundry.
What do you all think?
GameOver
PS. I hadn't seen this letter but check it out, it is how the letter he sent friends and family right at the beginning of his blogging debacle.

Me or him? I get this one from time to time as I have so rather pointed comments about certain deficiences in the US justice system and/or meddling in areas explicitly not their concern in previous posts.
If him, then yes, places like that have carnivore programs that scour for keywords and groupings. In this case somebody recently posted about his combined mail fraud, wire fraud, multi-jurisdictional involvement and such. That probably set off the flagging program. 'Course I just set off the same program didn't i? ;-)
The Adminstrative Office of the U.S. Courts hit doesn't mean anything. Probably some DC judge, law clerk, staff member or bureaucrat is just interested in the soap opera. The AO isn't an investigative organization. Their website is www.uscourts.gov.
As far as the comment on the attorney-client privilege, that is a very good point. Maybe. A court would have to decide. Speaking of which, somebody should compile a document listing everything Casey has said and all of the hard facts that we know about him. If and when the authorities do come after him, it would be good if they didn't have to spend months sifting through the junk to make their case.
Creditors can force a bankruptcy. (This used to be the rule, but now it's the exception. It's usually how it works in other countries.) If anyone is interested, this is set forth in 11 U.S.C. 303. You can find the bankruptcy code online if you want to see the language. Basically, with a debtor like Casey you would need three creditors to sign the involuntary bankruptcy petition, and their cumulative debts owed would have to be over $12K and not in dispute. Readers who really wanted to stick it to Casey could purchase some of his debt for pennies on the dollar and then force him into bankruptcy. I wouldn't advice this though since the bankruptcy judge can impose serious penalties on individuals perceived to have wrongfully forced an involuntary bankruptcy.
