Now I'm Nervous
Paulson has refered to the recent government actions as "emergency quadruple bypass surgery." I sure hope I have a better personal outcome than this plan. 4 months this week for me. Day 1 for the banking industry.

Dude, that's just downright unsettling...
Murst to say murst!
BTW, is "refered" like Paul Revere or something?
Anyone who isn't nervous is probably on those drugs Cindy McCain takes.
Well, if we're going to get referential about this whole thing, it obviously refers to "reefer" and not "Revere".
Is that a picture of your chest, Flabbo™??
Good Lord, do some bench presses and push-ups. ;-)
The softness is a side effect of the medicines. On the plus side my nipples are all the time tingly. ;-)
The referred v. refered was at first a typo then I left it in for the reefer comment/pun but forgot to "Putin" the extra "e."
I'll be doing mt "Revere" imitation soon enough. The budget is nothing like what i expected. There's this weird idea for one that doubling the penalties for corporate late filing will raise twice as much money next year. Then there's the blatant ending the fiscal year $2b in the hole but not so deep as to trigger Constitutional limits. That's a razor walk at best. I'm not sure but it looks like there will be less expenditure out of lock boxes like transportation and the "unspent" balance supposedly offsets general fund deficits.
Between the schools (incorrectly) thinking they are being shortchanged and the accounting tricks I'd bet my beautiful new breasts that the lawsuits will fly.
I do believe Mexico has the "refered" market and it hasn't worked all that well for them. Potheads are generally unreliable customers.
When all else fails file a f-ing lawsuit?
This country is so screwed I'm thankful I do not have kids to leave this disaster to. I really do not understand how most people can live with themselves given the crises onhand - especially those with kids.
Hey, GSPG was up 23% today to 0.0285. A rising tide really does lift all ships. Do you think our stocktard took advantage of the upswing?
Nice body, ugly scar.
May your recovery progress Mr. Dawg.
Thanks. I'll post some real pics soon enough.
Rob,
This story is amazing:
http://www.sacbee.com/111/story/1132588.html
California taxpayers are now being held hostage by CA state employees. Court orders don't matter. Edicts from the governor don't Just fabricate a tale and blame it on COBOL. Funny how CA state employees can give themselves big pay raises in a hurry using this same payroll system!
Your beautiful state is SO screwed.
Lou,
I thought i already covered that in a previous budget comment. Chiang is just being a dick. He plain old came out and said he wouldn't obey and executive order. Sadly it worked because the courts are so liberal and captive to state employee interests.
You probably did. I just realized that the story is over a month old.
oh nooo
the urbanites are going after the nasty cars in town again.

Reminds me how that worked out in New Orleans a couple seasons ago willya?
I think scars are sexy.
While tattoos can be attractive, I would never sign up for permanence – yet sometimes it happens
