Paintball season Opens!

LATimes:
The 800,000-square-foot warehouse in Rialto has all the proper pedigrees: easy access to the 10, 215 and 60 freeways, state-of-the-art fire control, secured truck court, spacious parking. It's got the kind of neighbors -- Unilever, FedEx, Home Depot, Energizer -- that show it's in the sweet spot of the nationwide cargo distribution system.

The only thing it doesn't have is a tenant.

First thing she's got to do is get a better gun. OK, that's actually the second thing she needs to do. First she needs to introduce herself.

One comment per two hours?

Looks like they could work out a deal to store some of the unsold vehicles that are piling up at seaports. That would keep them from baking in the sun.

I'll comment again if you'd like. :)

I think we're going to see a lot more of this as we go forward*. A lot of new buildings have been built on spec, these are sitting empty. I'm also seeing a lot of older retail starting to empty as places that were marginal in good times start to fold now.

SF Chronical had an article this morning about several buildings in the Financial District teetering on the verge of foreclosure. That will get ugly quick if they go.

*Note: Sadly, more of the empty buildings. I'd LOVE to see more of the two ladies, but the economy won't be causing more bikini paint ball fights.

Wanna get more comments?

Put a post up about the Tea Parties. That's been burning up the blogs here in North Texas

Make sure you call it by the right name. I love that the various "serious" news channels are referring to "tea bagging". It just paints a very, well... "intresting" mental picture of the protest.
