Transparency
Hanky Paulson stuttered and stumbled through a press conference designed to instill confidence. Smartest guy in the room my ass. He talked the talk but clearly isn't able to walk the walk. His mouth moved in all the right ways; transparency, accountability, resolution. BFD, he's had chances for that over the past 3 years and passed on all of them. Zero for everything is not a record to support.

@PF: That's what you get for working! Looser!
Yeah, it was up for 35 minutes before either of us posted, then we hit at the same time.
Ok, who's "No Mystery Here - I'm "41"" on KCland?
He's been kicking ass with his comments.
In case you see it here, Mr. Poster, I stand in awe.
I'm voting for PoniesbyChristmas, who may indeed be the same person as NoMysteryHere-" Whom I am suspecting is HomeydaClown.
or is it "who am I am suspecting"....CS has slaughtered my English skillz.
What the [deleted] is [deleted] over there? There's so much [deleted] that my [deleted] is [deleted] and I don't know whether I'm [deleted] or [deleted].
The illustration is the Crack of Doom, right?
Wagga,
Looks to me like the gates to paradise are visible.
NR
I do like ponies by Christmas too.
But I think he/she missed a golden opportunity when he/she didn't mention anything about ruby slippers.
Wouldn't those be moose slippers?
moose, ruby. Watch me not care:
I'm getting a pony for Christmas. And a 21-yr old girlfriend, this I know, for "The Secret" told me so.
I was wrong. I do care enough to delete. I keep a tidy blog and don't like to scroll through tiresome duplication.
Gift ideas?
Do the various astute observers around here think petrified squid might be a unique wedding present for a couple who has everything?
Please give Kalifornya money...
Here's a NY Times article on our impending crisis.
With Bonds in Trouble, States Seek Federal Help
Though the federal government has taken extraordinary steps to lend money to corporations in the short-term markets, and to provide more money to banks, officials have been stymied over how to assist local governments because of their status as issuers of tax-exempt bonds.
California has the largest and most pressing problem. The state has told the Treasury Department it might need an emergency loan of up to $7 billion to pay its day-to-day bills in coming weeks, including those to school districts and municipal governments due on Oct. 29. Massachusetts has also reached out for help.
I did my part to loan California some money. I'm up to $40K in Vanguard's California Tax Exempt Money Market fund (VCTXX), currently yielding 4.33% state and federal tax free. The rate is dropping daily, though. It was ~5.5% last week. Get it while you can.
Fliptard is still firing on all cylinders.

"Even people on CNN call The Bailout a big joke and mistake. Maybe i should start my own bailout fund for main st owners in trouble."

Thank you. I figured what the hell, it's not like anything useful will actually come from his blog so I might as well have some fun.
Ok, how many got the hidden message posts? I know for a fact Casey and his mods haven't figured it out.
buzzsaw was up in here. who farted?
"41"
Shh, that was one of the great inside jokes at IAFF. Don't give it all away.
Keep up the massive focused effort.
Oh and my favorite: "BUBBA AWAITS"
Ordered petrified squid - could be the next mackerel monetary policy.

Hmmmm, maybe I can earn my own page at Caseypedia! Ah, that would be sweet passive immortality. LOL!
Dammit, I didn't catch those posts the first time, 41. Nice work.
Edgar,
WALNUTS farted!
Funny shit "my fellow prisoners".
Pure comedy.
Man, you were really dealing it out NMHI41. And you are right, that POOPY PANTS MOD never caught on!
yeah, that's why I mentioned it kind of crytptically, in case KC or people of his ilk come here, I didn't want to give it away.
Well, if they do, I apologize for that mean name I just referred to the moderator as!

We're happy you do it - one of the nice things about this place is the decent signal to noise ratio.
"Gift ideas?"
Akubi - my personal favorite (though I haven't done it yet) is a gift certificate for a divorce lawyer. Known enough couples that it would have been an appropriate gift for, but I usually just skip those weddings.
