Round Trip and Then Some

Our old friend Wrightwood 92397. But this one special. We knew it was coming but so soon? 1280 Irene St. We've seen the backstory before:

Dec 22, 2004 $155,000
Feb 22, 2006 $221,500
Jul 07, 2008 $102,000

And what makes this special? The price; $94, 900. Sub $100k has come to SoCal.

Year Built: 1928 (*needs some updates). At a cool 576 sqft - it is a win win for everyone!

TC has evaporated - just a card left.

Our little gawdtard™ is immersing himself in a religious fervor. That'll last a week and he'll reappear to proclaim his salvation and faith. He'll rationalize he isn't back but that he has to share the joy.

Sub-$100k for a tool shed? Wake me up when homes with flushing toilets within driving distance of a job drop below $100k.

Ah, con... you're a day off.

To be fair, after a TWO YEAR election cycle, we're all hoping it's over soon.

Of course, expect a few people to announce for 2012 on Wednesday.

BTW: Rob - you've been spammed. See "Cindy" at 12:43.

Spam from Oz - not my fault.

Rob, you need to look at Hemet and Riverside county, because you will find real houses (not cabins) selling for $50k. You will find almost new 3000 sq ft houses for $165k.

People must have a lot of money. They are holding out a long time for high prices. They are not yet ejecting second homes, like mountain cabins. You will see low prices where people do not have much money, like the desert. You will see houses there for $18k very soon, if not already. But I don't know how long the money will last.

Rob,
I really question your outlook on Casey's re-emergence. I think that you have overlooked the "GSPG is at .06...and is going to a $1! I told you so!!!" thing.

If GSPG hits $.50 I think he might re-appear. If the the troops come home and arrest everyone, I think he might re-appear...

I feel like I understand his psychology fairly well, and indeed, he hates being off the internet - only slightly less than being perceived as (or admitting he was) wrong. Once (if) he is vindicated - he'll be back.

When the realtor says "Jack and Jill bathroom," that means you have to carry the water in with a pail.

Lex,
LoL. Good one. Less than 600sf? Not enough for a flop shack for skiers. The price per sf is still too high.

Sun,
Yeah I am just throwing that out for consideration. Goldspring is $0.0178 right now about half his break even. I don't see it going to 6¢ again never mind 50¢. We may see one last foray to 4 cents on a single thin trade and then wham the dump part takes over.

Lost,
Yeah them that bought investment properties are acting in a lassic stock decline mode. We've never had a housing bubble like the dotbomb bubble so it isn't surprising to see people holding houses on margin like they did tech stocks.

Also, Riverside County? Why? It looks dead. You go touch it. No, you go touch it. Me? I ain't gonna touch it, what if it is infected? Ewww gross it's all bloat and stuff. The gas price drop bought them some time but not a way out. Bold prediction; a substantial population drop in the 2010 census compared to 2007-2008 DoF figures.

Casey probably will reappear if he has Internet access, but I'm worried about him, since he has no income and now he exhausted his corporate credit, too. How is he going to support himself?

Casey will do well.
He lies without thinking of the pain he is causing. Proclaiming he knows something. The guy is wired for the job of a pastor.

My little sister was dying of cancer and a family of leach holy rollers moved in with her and took her for everything. At least her bank accounts.

There were miracles. Why on the day before she died, paralysed on half her body and in ICU with her family, she bought a full set of Craftsman power tools. At least that what the maxed out credit cards said.

Scum bag pastor tried to shake me down for more money at the funeral. I lost it and verbally took him out in front of her casket, my family, all his loser flock, and Jesus.
The scum bag reminds me of KC.

People who are desparate will believe anything even from a liar. They are soon parted from their money.

I see someone is going around killing homeless folks in Cal.

Casey getting nervious yet???

Rob,
Yes, I could definitely see a 4 cent possibility, in classic jump-the-shark fashion. The probability of $.50 is about the same as the troops coming home to arrest everyone.

BTW, the "two beds" noted for the cabin / shed above - are these located upstairs? Oh, there is only one floor. Are these like 50 sqft bedrooms? or I guess they literally meant beds.

Most garages are 600sf.

Casey will be stinkin' rich in 10 years. He will package himself as some type of financial guru.

Yeah, he'll have more shopping carts than anyone else under the bridge. That is until he stops making payments to the bum he bought them from at 45% interest.

the interface they have set up on that house / shack (shed?) page is pretty slick.

Worth no more than the $55-$60K it would have sold for in 1998.

Rob, want sub $100k, look at the Palmdale/Lancaster area. We arent talking about single homes under $100k, we are talking about zip codes under $100k.

You can even find plenty in Los Angeles city limits for below $100k, and not just South Central. And even South Central was up to $400k a few years back.
