Accidents Don't Happen
Speculation is the least sincere form of satire.
Casey's sweet hits. These are probably because he has the sitemeter code on some of the subpages we've been hitting directly.
Hasn't it been down since yesterday? You'd think even puss-brain Casey could have it back up by now ... especially now that he's rollin' in dough from them SWEET links!!
this is sweet move by snowflake - maybe he just realized that blogging about the contents of his manpurse and annoying trainwreck watchers with lossmitpro's ramblings is not sustainable.
1. KC made a big deal of putting $2K+ on the table last Friday. 2. G notices him laying around this week and says "how are you doing on the $1K for this week?" 3. KC says "it's all good - I made enough last week to cover this week" 4. G says "you're done"
OR...
G realizes (perhaps with Steve's help) that KC didn't really earn $1K last week, that her name is still in play, and says "you're done"
My guess is that it is a demonstration of his mad IT skills.
Depending on settings, a syntax error in a PHP page can either splat error messages onto a page, or show just a white page.
Another poster showed various IAFF objects are still available in another thread.
Sitemeter is still counting hits, so the javascript necessary to make it work is still there.
I'm thinking that he made modifications to his index.php and didn't have a backup. Now that he hosed himself, he can't figure out how to straighten it out.
Casey may have been trying to remove any reference to Galina, but LMPs infatuation with her just screwed it up big time. She was plastered all over EN and this probably forced Casey to admit that he couldn't control it.
Even though I think he will be back, it is better for him and for his family if they actually keep him away
I wonder if any of his advertisers lurking around here. If so, has Casey contacted you? You paid for a month of advertising, I'd want an explanation of how he's going to make up this down time.
Nah, if that were the case the main page would still be there, the main page was changed, in a way that can only be done deliberately.
As for bits and pieces still up, it could be that he's too lazy to wipe it all out - ie. "There, see? The blog is gone!" stomp stomp slam.
Or
Casey has taken the blog down, but is planning on leaving Galina, so he's got the bones of teh site stashed away, so the minute he's done loading his meagre possesions in the Vdub, he can get online and put it back up.
Or
He's follwing through with his promise, he did'nt live up to whathe promised and...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA
I'm hoping LMP PAID for the guest spot, and got royally fucked by Casey.
No, wait, Casey is a responsible....hahahahhhahahhahahahahahahahaahahahahahaahahahahaahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahaahahahahaahahahahahaahahahahah!!!!!!!
Well they can always bring the show over here, I'm sure Dawg would be happy to make room for it. In the meantime speculation will run wild (stay tuned to CI for allegations of Casey and Elvis drinking wheatgrass shots at the W. Sac Jamba Juice).
WINEX showed that this could be mad IT skillz instead of deliberate.
Given a choice between mad IT skillz and Casey actually going away without a going away post (and a followup going away post, etc), I would have to choose mad IT skillz
Hmm, I got an error message. I don't know what it means ...

I'm avoiding the site itself out of principle. But, if someone were to search for a page on IAFF on Google and then click the Google Cache link, it would subsequently execute the JavaScript necessary to log a page view/visit in SiteMeter...
I'm not incredibly familiar with WordPress code, but I think all pages are displayed by the index.php page. (That could be totally wrong, though. I don't feel like checking right now...) I think it's equally possible that snowflake has f*cked his code or that the plug has been pulled by she who must not be *ahem* *Galina* named...
SIAA Leader: Let's call this first meeting of Shafted IAFF Advertiserz Anonymous to order. SETTLE DOWN EVERYBODY. First order of business, dividing up these sweet traffic hits.
Bruce D. Collins: I paid $100 just to make myself look like an uninformed noob! Not one visitor bought my book on amassing wealth through professional wrestling!! Those hits are mine!
Sharky Laguana: Yeah, I was supposed to get SEO placement! All I got was PDA (public douche awareness) placement! What kind of band will rent my overpriced vans now that they know I'm a rocknroll republican??
(Bruce D. and Sharky begin girl-slapping each other. There is much discord around the room among the disgruntled advertiserz. Even a bit of hubbub.)
SIAA Leader: Gentlemen!! ORDER! ORDER! We will decide the most amicable way to disperse these 19 sweet hits among all parties! Mr. Laguana, put your pants back on, please. $100 advertiserz will receive one sweet hit each. The remaining nine sweet hits will go to the $500 premium suckerz. We have awarded 4 sweet hits to AFS, and the remaining five to Maverick Mistakes. We figured they could use the extra money since their banner is so shitty. If the book is worth $594175, you would think they could invest in a font other than Comic Sans.
Maverick Mistakes Guy: Well, if I ever sell a book, maybe I will, a-hole. Just give me my five sweet monthly hits.
LossMitPro: What about me? Everybody involved knows I'm a sycophant now. I was supposed to get respect and adoration! And subservient Christian babes! I've had 20 years experience in the loss mitigation business after all! What do I get??
SIAA Leader: Well, Casey did send over this pair of Galina's dirty socks for you.
LossMitPro: Stunning! (Clutches the dirty socks and scurries away)
(E-commerce Horseshit Guy and Casey IQ Test Guy start scuffling over their two sweet web hits. More hubbub ensues.)

That crap gives me a headache. I can't believe microdildo doesn't backup his web page. Oh wait, this is mighty Casey we're talking about, I forgot. Maybe Snowflake could hire some tech support with his sweet advertising money?
wp-settings.php seems to be a critical file. It sets all the variables for use throughout the site. Looks like he deleted it. Either that or he got hacked and someone deleted it.
Of course, if he got hacked, there'd be porn there instead of a blank page...
actually, mort's right about the wp-settings error. I didn't read the whole thing, just that a stream could not be opened ('cuz Galina stapled his junk shut?) and the file wasn't there...

Casey's frantically reading EN right now, hoping and praying that one of us haterz will quickly debug the problem and post the answer so that he can get back to selling sweet links...
Perhaps the definition for ABSPATH is wrong or missing. It looks like wp-settings.php exists, because it is throwing an error on line 74.
I should point out that I'm running all of the Wordpress internal scripts which are only supposed to be run by other parts of Wordpress, after the configuration file has been loaded. So these errors may prove nothing other than that Wordpress is still installed.

Anons shouldn't count anyway...
Sweet Mifth again!
aack!
My vote is that Fliptard's big-ass wife made him take the blog down. She's got his balls locked up in her purse (not to be confused with his murse...)
thppttt!!

Likely just a server error. Casey is not going to take the blog down and G has zero influence on him.
Hasn't it been down since yesterday? You'd think even puss-brain Casey could have it back up by now ... especially now that he's rollin' in dough from them SWEET links!!
Haven't we already established that this is too deliberate to be a server error?
Those visits are pumping now!
Check out the previous thread: this is not a server error of the type we Haterz™ are accustomed to; it seems deliberate.

Keep a close watch on the number of photos under his flickr account. If the number goes up or down then young Snowflake has not lost his net access.
Nah, if that were the case the main page would still be there, the main page was changed, in a way that can only be done deliberately.

This would actually be the first time Casey has ever had to face any consequence of any failed action. Bravo for Galina.
I wonder if he is still working with LMP... will there be a guest post by him next Wednesday?
What about FORECLOSURE FRIDAY? I mean, after 2 weeks in a row, I was getting kind of used to it.
Whose ass will Mocha stick her nose up now?
I'm very confused.
Aha, interesing line of thinking, WINEX. This might be relevant:

What is interesting is that with the day almost 1/3 over, Sitemeter only shows 26 hits.
It shows how much of his traffic is truly unique.

@ Milton's Ghost
I've never worked with WP, but am amazed that modules like user-edit would allow you to get even that far.
They should be using a session variable to check for administrative rights at the beginning of the code.
I think that Snowflake hacked up the place through ineptitude.
@dm:
Great minds think alike - Fools never differ.
@Milton's Ghost
The problem isn't (lack of existence of) wp-settings.php.
The problem is whatever line 74 is calling doesn't exist.
But enough of this. I'm a consultant, and if anyone wants any more of my brain, they need to bring a bucket of money. ;)
in the version of WP i've got (not sure which it is), line 74 is a comment right before a block that sets variables containing database table names... don't know which v. IAFF is on.

Okay, so a white page is possible.
So, the question is:
Leet mad skillz
or
he borked the page on purpose, so if galina typed in the URL, she'd think it was wiped, and the site is still there for him to bring back up later. You know if she lowered the boom, he'd *never* erase his mistress.

Wow, IAFF is the white screen of death. I'll bet all of his "sweet links" buyers are turning sour by this point.
What little scammer....
He puts me and Kimberlita to shame!!!
In my, umm, professional life, I've had bad experiences with people who call themselves "programmers" or "developers" and list PHP as their first / main language. Because 9 times out of 10 it turns out they think fiddling with some PHP open source application counts as real grown-up programming.

You geeks are funny - drooling over the possible wordpress/PHP/whatever errors.
They aren't errors. He/someone took the site down. it's over. Get a life.
There are rumors abound that the federal law enforcement paid a visit to Mr. Serin to ask a few questions...
One can only hope that some feds showed up and paid a visit to our friend.
anon @08:58 and @09:05 ... there are easier ways to kill a blog than whatever it is that Snowflake has done. He could "rm -rf" the whole thing, or put up an index page saying "Nothing to see here, go away" and that would be easier than returning an empty document.

I personally believe that Casey is blogging from his ANUS.
He shoved that PDA of his up his anus and he is typing away, slowly, by moving his butt cheeks left and right.
Galina thinks he has stopped blogging, but fliptart continues.
