ok, WTF did you find that photo Dawg? That is just... so... wrong....

I have been reading this blog for an hour and a half and I still got Musrt!
Anyway, thank you for the inspirational story Duane. My story is VERY similar, and I thought I was the only person on earth that had SEVEN OR EIGHT MAJOR crises happen at once or in short order of each other.
But who's counting. I am doing OKAY now and Giving Back in a powerful way.
Nice work Duane.

When did Buttfly make all of his DHC "revisions"?

Rob Dawg said...

Sprezz,
sick mind + google safe search off + large vocabulary = deeply disturbing visual images.

I didn't laugh 'cause I was confused! The post was time stamped 10:36am and our T1 has been broke all day and I was so SHOCKED I stumbled on a post that didn't have a FIRST! I forgot the laugh.

So BWAHAHAHAHA! I win! Even with a broken Internet!

Aspeth said...

I'm actually a bit surprised that, with all of the revisionist history going on at DHC, and Nigel's inability to come out ahead of the game, that he didn't just hit the "delete blog" button.

It would be lovely if that were his next step. The internets are already bloated with thirty or forty of his blogs already.

Akubi said...

Rob Dawg,
How long are you planning to make us wait for Duane's next installment?

When did Buttfly make all of his DHC "revisions"?

Sometime during last night's Duane-A-Thon. First comment to note it: 7:56PM.

FWIW, repost of the the removed Duane post, and comments, here.

Akubi said...

Thanks, lawnmower man. I guess I had moved on to the other thread by then. Once upon a time it was a lot easier to keep track of EN comments.

Rob Dawg said...

Akubi,
Duane hit me with 202k of text and another separate directors commentary timeline. I'll be weaving the two and making 2 large posts to cover Nov-Dec '06. I told you it would all take a few days. [insert subtle inuendo here] ;-)

For those subscribed to EN in Bloglines / Google Reader / whatever, here's the Super-Sekrit EN comment feed:

Yep no laugh and I forgot the !!!!.

OT, but timely as we talk about what's important in life......

In East TX a few minutes ago, near Athens, two sheriff's deputies killed and one wounded when they answered a domestic dispute. Life is short.....

That is terrible and very sad.

Life is short.

Akubi said...

Rob Dawg,
OK, I didn't realize it would take so long. Must have missed the comment.

Rob Dawg said...

Dude,
Sad to say but there will be a lot more of that as the bubble pops. Money is very often the cause of domestic disputes. Nothing like telling your wife that you lost the house because of the HELOC that bought the jetski and Harley.

Galina's Louis Vitton vs. Casey's Murse.

Galina's Louis Vitton vs. Casey's Murse.

I think I'd bet on Galina in that matchup; Casey's looking awfully scrawny these days.

Although as we all know, the power of the Murse is not to be under-estimated.

Anonymous said...

@Rob Dawg Naw, you have to give it that Benoit™ twist.

Galina's Louis Vitton vs Casey's blue ball..

Did somebody mention a domestic dispute shooting? I'm a bit surprised it wasn't in Sacramento.

Did I actually read a few threads down that Nigel wanted to be cast on Duane's online TV ventures?

OMG I still can't stop laughing and it's making me light-headed from the lack of oxygen.

Now I get why Snowflake and Cornflake are such the perfectly matched set...they're both obsessed with being on the brain rotting TV.

I still think Casey should get a job chauffeuring Paris around. Maybe if he and NigeyBoy made up, they could use the BMer instead of the Vdubs.

That would be one heck of a reality show..'Who Wants To Be A Celebutard?'

I have an STI GrandMaster open gun in .38super with a C-More reddot that I'd loan Galina. Only problem is the mags hold 29rnds. No-go in California.....

The Surrealtor Life?
America's Next Flop Model?
So You Think You Can Flounce?

STI GrandMaster? with muzzle brake to both reduce recoil and aim point climb between successive shots? C☺☺L!

She could handle the recoil with the muzzle brake, but I think the handle size might be a problem.. Check a earlier picture of her next to someone I suspect is 14 years old. Galina is the dark haired smaller one on the far right.

Personally, I think she would find the Louis Vuitton to Casey blue ball more. It would help release pent up anger..

One of casey's newly paid links is umm, a payday loan place personalcashadvance.com

I posted this on his blog

Casey,

Don’t you think its a bit dirty to be advertising for a payday loan place that in your own experiences bilks the people that get loans from them?

I thought usury, especially large usury like payday loans, was not Christian. I thought you would not want to help people get into debt like you did.

On last check, there was no sign of butter-ass short no more posts on DHC and no updates since May 14th on either DHC or his award winning blog. Perhaps Butterball is starting to get the picture eh? He's his own worst enemy and it's starting to show in google. It's also starting to show in google what a self-link-whoring looser he is as people on various sites are starting to call him out. I've heard a couple of people say he seems like a nice guy. Perhaps in real life he is, you know, if you run into on the street or something. But on the internets, he's just another slimy fucktard.

Oh what fun the last few days have been.

I cannot pull up IAFF.com ..it is still down.

and nigeypooh has went into history revisionist mode.

I would like to state a few points in regard to nigel.

1. fuck you
2. fuck you
3. fuck you
4. fuck you
and yes you guessed it...
5. fuck you

Now that being said....after rereading Duane's story..it is simply scary to me how much our lives are paralleled with some distinct exceptions....

1. I never had a heartattack.
2. another reason I dont care to discuss as it is personall.
3. My burn rate was not quite as high as his..but was frightenly close.
4. I didnt bury my head in the sand for too long either...I came out swinging and got rid of the problem properties and lived to fight another day.
5. I did fight another day and did it on my own...as I have stated before I am a 1 man show....

When I got back into the game..I started NEGATIVE 100k in debt and built that up..with times standing on the edge of a cliff on a rickety milk carton while balancing on a unicycle....

I took huge calculated risks and they all paid off and now I have no money worries with the exception of not having enough liquidity to pay for a trip to outer space on a russian space flight.

But then again..I just want to retire...I am tired of chasing the almighty buck.

AMEN.....I retired a couple of years ago at 52 and have never looked back. When I sat down with my investment dude and saw how much I could make while sitting on my ass, I came to that exact conclusion. Yes, it's less than I made while in business but a WHOLE lot more than I'll ever need...a whole hellova lot more. Do the math....and it works for you; do it.

A really good friend of mine planned his retirement from McD's. He sold all his stores on a Thursday and was flying down to Scottsdale on Sunday to live in his condo and enjoy life. He woke up dead on Saturday morning.....at 58.

I freaking challenge Casey to find someone who knows him who will affirm his "work-a-holic" status.

-Props to Flailing Forward. That timeline is awe inspiring. Seriously, though, I think you need a stiff drink and the company of a good woman for at least a few hours. Good job- Take the night off.
