Housing Bubble, credit bubble, public planning, land use, zoning and transportation in the exurban environment. Specific criticism of smart growth, neotradtional, forms based, new urbanism and other top down planner schemes to increase urban extent and density. Ventura County, California specific examples.
Pity (I'm guessing here) you can't buy Puts on it. That said the moment you heard that Casey had bought something then the market in Puts on the same stock would go ballistic.
Thanks to an email tip I actually went to IAFF where casey reponded to me by name. Apparently somebody besides Casey doesn't think he's a compulsive debtor. Wow I feel so discredited.
Here's my reply: ---- Casey, let's take baby steps. You want to arb the markets? Fine. First baby step; get up in time for the markets. Here in Kalifornia that means you need to be hitting the keyboard hard for an hour befor the markets open. Try it. Be at your desk every morning for a week at 5:30 AM. Oh... wait. You tried that already for the 6:55 time slot. This morning at 6:55 the DJIA was already down 6 pts. What is it NOW? And I mean exactly. 7 significant digits. Yes, that 7th digit is where the arbs make their money. See? This is the beauty of your latest foray. You can test it before you invest it. So, there's your plan™. No need to start next week, not even tomorrow morning. Start now with a shadow account. Test your skillz for free. Understand, I really really must insist you try doing this first because whether you realise it or not when you do it for real it will be with my money.
Oh, and magicman only said you weren't a compulsive debtor because he didn't think it was strong enough. ----
Unless I'm missing something, this GoldSpring company looks like it was set up by a bunch of fools sitting around a cardboard table that thought it'd be fun to start a company.
Maybe I don't know enough about the company, but on the surface it's easy to understand why their stock went down quicker than ol' Nigey did on Snowflake.

That and have one of my sick sick graphics burned into your brain for all time.
At least you don't complain about ruined keyboards like some whinerz™. I say, you bought your ticket, you knew what you were getting into, those keyboards get what they deserve.

I rather like the suggestion from the previous post to hammer him with questions. It rarely works, though -- even when he does answer questions, he does so selectively and evasively. Or lies.
It isn't sexism. It's more like humanism. Every once in a great while Casey's contempt for the rest of humanity leaks through his online personae. We are seeing a bit more of this lately as Galina grows a spine to go along with the set of 'nads that are already bigger than his. By that I mean she's manned up and gone to work. Think about what he denigrates; ejukation, slow success, laws, on and on.
Yes, he's really selective about answering. Refused to say whether he bought the stock on April 1st... Banks generally won't loan you money for a corporation if you're going to trade with it. What do you bet he made some "misrepresentations" as to his intent on the shell corp's loan applications?
He isn't a compulsive gambler...he's just not good at putting in the time and discipline involved with deal making.
He's basically PLAYING the ROLE of businessman. As long as he can say he makes deals and is a mover/shaker he's happy. If he has to WORK, that's a whole new story.
If Casey is compulsive in any way, it's his laziness.

Murst.
I'm rusty, guess I'll settle for 3rd.
Dawg, I am a silent appreciator of your choice in pictures.
or FIRST since no one actually claimed it!
I actually enjoyed posting my latest on IAFF

Sorry Rob Dawg. That chart doesn't begin to work. You need to find one that goes deep into negative territory.

Arthur,
Yes, I also want access to the Casey Serin Highyield Investment Trading System™. C-SHITS™ would be the best contrarian indicator ever devised.

There should be an addiction named just for Casey, Compulsive Delusional Koolaid Drinker or CDKD.
C-SHITS™
ROFLMAO!
I don't comment on Casey's site. It's a waste of time, and between him and Nigel, I was moderated out of the queue 100% of the time.
I just come here and laugh or post something on my own bloggity blog.

Hey lets admit that sexism is a huge part of why CS is hated.
Men are judged by thier net worth. If a chick is a 'house wife' its considered ok. Casey is a housewife and its not.
Men that are supported by thier wives are mocked and that is now also a reason to mock casey, even G hates it.
Anyway its tom likus 101!

Nah, Casey wears a purse and gets his hair highlighted. Nuff said.

I'm pretty sure he got a pretty penny for promotion of this stock.
