At the end of the day everyone on the cast was at least rational and mentally stable enough to have a conversation and understand what a contract means and what business is generally about. But that is only because Casey did not call in.
Confession time. At 5;20 I went to church and then had one of those six dollar burgers at Carl's Jr. I only got back for the last 5 minutes. I really do want to hear what people think because I missed most of it. It does sound like Duane is tired of the same old negative opinion with no basis in fact accusations.

I wish that we had more of an exchange about the management issues at CHC. I was a little frazzled when CHJS put me on the second time since it was less than a minute since I was banned from CHC, but whatever. There was too much time allocated to Duane and Mark not saying much of anything. I appreciate that they are integral to the story, but really there are a number of other pertinent issues IMHO.
Overall, good. Nothing earth-shattering. Felt a bit like a fireside chat with old friends.
Interesting moment when someone observed someone with name of "Galina_" was listening, and asked Duane if was her. He stumbled a bit, then quickly said don't call on her to speak.
I just don't get it - Duane held a special podcast yesterday to announce that he was not buying IAFF - why is he back today?? I agree with Walt, the Mark and Duane angle has played itself out. Who really wants to call in just to hear Mark drone on and on? It used to be fun until those guys decided the story was theirs. Give me back the good old days, please.
And Duane's method of calling people that question him names such as asshole, bitch and prick do absolutely nothing to boost his reputation.
One thing that was said which I found interesting is that the money which Galina will presumably receive after the sale of the blog will not be affected by the current fliptard flop. In other words, even though Duane will no longer buy the blog from Casey, it will get purchased by him or by others afterwards and Galina will get the money. That removes the reason why I was suggesting yesterday that they give fliptard another day or so to see about getting more $ for the blog.
And now? Let him throw himself under his own metaphorical bus, rather like the upper class twits on Monty Python.

Nah, I only called in because I have unlimited cell minutes on the weekends. I don't have any interest in paying long distance on my landline or using up anytime minutes on my cellphone during the week to host one. Next weekend I'm going away, and two weeks from now I'll be too bored with this thing to care. Hell, by tomorrow I probably will be. If my wife hadn't been out with friends this evening, I definitely wouldn't have spent so much time debating with "the CHC management."
Quite honestly, I may take the CHC ban as a cue to step away from this whole thing. The Turdflake saga has all but runs its full course.

Duane is stepping over the line with Galina.
I don't think that's fair. I think that Duane can come across as overconfident, which turns a lot of people off sometimes. But if you separate the style from the substance of his posts and Hatercast comments, it seems pretty clear to me that he has Galina's best interests at heart.

I am curious: how would things proceed legally if Casey did sell his blog to a third party? And just to add more complexity to the question, what if that third party turns out to be Marty? What exactly would happen?
Mark has already outlined his plan of attack on what he'll do if IAFF is sold to a third-party. See the long, long thread of his that was posted earlier today.
Duane LeGate seems to feel that anyone that is not willing to spend hours upon hours on the podcasts talking about themselves or debating him is "running and hiding." All I know is that I am not worried in the least about my company's reputation being smeared by associating with Casey, nor is my personal reputation in the least way tainted by this.
Maybe because I am NOT a publicity whore?? Maybe you could stand to learn a lesson from the rest us as much as Casey does, Duane.
