Unrepentant Bastard

What can I say, I’m very good at rationalizing my actions (and deceiving myself in the process).

Well this time I’m shutting down out of free will. And no, the lawsuit has nothing to do with it, the restraining order was not against the entire blog.

Then:

Sell IamFacingForeclosure.com domain - money will go directly to my wife for her to pay down the debt and anything she needs. I don’t want to see one single penny from it. Also, the current blog content is NOT part of the sale, it must all be taken down. I’m selling just the domain and it’s position with search engines and all the back links.

Okay. Everybody breathe. Neither is true. He isn't "shutting down" the blog. And what is happening is not his free will. And yes the lawsuit at least the one most people know about does have something to do about it. And there is no restraining order. He's just lying. Worse than lying, he's peeing in the common pot.

He's "trying" to sell IAFF. A small but important distinction from actually selling. The money is not -currently- going to his wife's debts. Until yesterday he was certainly trying to "see" every penny.

No one cares about the IAFF content. That is archive material. Gosh, this is worse than I expected.

Well, it's a fair point. Although it's a capitulation, it's hardly a complete capitulation.

Also, I have a problem believing Casey when he says he's going to shut the blog down.

Depending on what Casey posts I will then either confirm his announcement or if he weasels out with some other story and not the big thing that happened today I will just rip him a new one for sinking even lower than ever before. The court hearing was but a distraction. I'm not going to scoop him because in his current state he'd blame the wrong people and were I to break it before him he'd have a chance to spin things his way. No warning for him or free hints on how to explain things in their best light.

So rip him a new one! God knows he deserves it.

You can say pretty much anything here. Always was always will.

I'm not being callous. you need to draw a curve over the last 10 months. While my comments have been increasingly strident they have also lagged the facts.

Look up craven. Read the definition. consider an apology and if you need, a new description.

I am intrigued by the fact that he has placed the word home in quotes. ('I can’t even begin to ask to go back “home” until I start changing my attitudes in a very fundamental way.') I guess that means that the place that we would consider his home is not the place that he would consider home. Pretty sad, IMHO.

"Common value" seems to imply common ownership of IAFF. This could refer to Galina (marital property), Marty (book contract), or Lost Mittens (the lawsuit), or something else entirely.

I do know this--despite any public or private promises, Casey will not stop running scams and betraying people--he's a sociopath, and that's what they do.

Rob posted under his real name here, and in comments at IAFF. The Dawg handle came later.

Okay.. in lieu of actual information, some rampant speculation - California is a community property state, and Galina's been busy filing paperwork, hasn't she? And at the very, very least, IAFF would be considered an asset, wouldn't it?

Did Galina drop the formal D-Bomb on him yesterday? I'm now wondering if he's trying to position himself for a massive multi-front legal war.

Dawg,

Can we safely assume;

1. Snowflake is attempting to sell IAFF before a judge turns ownership over to another party.
2. The ownership of IAFF is now in question, possibly a lien of some sort, or a stay of selling it in place.
3. There are multiple lawsuits against Snowflake, Marty and possibly G or Momma Serin.
4. Galina is NOT taking him back and has/is filing divorce
5. The FBI is no longer a myth
6. The Serin/Suprin family is united against him
7. LMP's case is much stronger and broader than we know
9. Snowflake is trying to get any $$$ he can for his "underground" getaway.
10. Marty and Snowflake's scams are DOA.

and ...Snowflake is lying ... again.

Can you comment and please elaborate on the global picture.

Do you understand that this is the very reason your wife would be best leaving you far behind? Do you realize you are "hoping" that your publisher will give you the respect you NEVER gave your wife?

Nigel, you really advised Casey NOT to turn himself in? I am appalled that at your attitude and behavior. I am restraining myself from voicing the level of my anger and disgust at you,or going into any legal or ethical issues. Now, looking back some six months later and the carnage Serin has caused to everyone in his life, can you still stand by that advice? What was your purpose of posting this now? You understand that Serin at that moment in time had more of a conscious than you did.

Have her take Aikido and either Shodokan or krav maga. Good for the body and mind. Also teaches her to think outside of the box. (Good nuts twist/cracker often changes pervs minds quickly).

@JohnDiddler

he just hasn't realized how easily he can walk away from one set of wedding vows for another.

I don't think this is accurate. Galina has been quite tolerant, too tolerant. She has also allowed herself to be manipulated in the past. When she first met him, he was young and had promise (though still weird - probably claimed that he was an "original thinker"). Now, he has massive debt, has soiled his reputation, proven himself unstable and unwilling to work. Women, even flakes, want stability. Casey may be able to first peak their interest, but when the rest of the baggage is seen, it will send most any female running for the hills screaming.

I hope Galina is not giving him yet one more time. He has already put her through enough, and obviously does not respect her. Australia trip and the unilateral re-writing of the terms to the note he signed are glaring examples.

I think he will try to hold on to Galina as hard as possible when it gets obvious she may no longer accept his behavior. She may be the best thing he as ever had.. and maybe ever will have. I wouldn't want her to throw her life away while still young, to someone who doesn't respect her nor will he ever change. He will make it look like he was trying but always trying to subvert, twist and manipulate the situation.

His latest W-2/shut down blog/etc claims look at last ditch attempts. She has to remember that he never kept previous promises.. how many retries should be granted?

How many people here REALLY care about bringing justice to abused and abandoned wives? How many people here volunteer their weekends on shelters for abused women? Gimme a break! Yes, Casey should go to prison for a LONG time, but cut the BS and stop rationalizing this as a cruzade for his family. This is about middle class folks getting fed up with his crimes because of the impact on property taxes, housing value, and overall cost of living. In the end, this endevour started and continued because of money, and not precisely Galina's or moma Serin's.

Anonymous said...

Yes, I did. Like I explained in my post, it does seem sympathetic. Be aware, I had just spoken to a Federal agent that investigates mortgage fraud in Utah and Casey had been all over the media. This is not something that was being hidden.

While other atrocities have been committed by Casey since then, none involved mortgage fraud and none, that I am aware of, were illegal.

I do wish I had seen the light earlier than I did, but law enforcement has not had info concealed from them.

My first post here at EN. I lurk and have recently started participating at some of the other haterblogs. Been following the Casey Serin implosion since the begining.

I really, REALLY hope that Galina does not take him back.

This is not about hating Casey (though I do). This poor girl married this ... I don't know the word, but seriously f*cked up individual when she was all of twenty years old. He's put her through hell, screwed up her future, and comes across as a manipulative and abusive (doesn't have to be physical to be abusive) piece of shit. She has a chance to get away now (seemingly she has been able to get strong enough to file separation papers!) She can actually get healthy and have a decent life. She's young and should have that opportunity. If she were to go back to Casey... I can't even articulate it, it makes me ill to think of it. That poor, poor, young woman. I hope she stays strong.

Now, I know, nothing in Casey's post indicated that Galina was even willing to consider any of his blah blah "I'm gonna try to do this" stuff. I just worry about all the stuff I've read/heard about how for her, divorce is taboo.

I am really fearful for her. Galina, if you're reading, please, PLEASE, stay strong. Get out while you still can and rebuild your life. Spend it with people who respect, appreciate, and deserve you.

@BJ – thank you for saying similar above. It's been said that she reads EN, though who can say whether she is still doing so. I almost hope she's not still reading all this, for her sake.

In defense of Nigel - that may have been a tough decision to make. For a friend (however odd that relationship may be), that is absolutely correct legal advice and common sense. I would hope that you all would advise any friend or family member in a similar situation likewise. If and when Casey is brought to justice, he will have a lawyer who would have said the same exact thing to him. Looking at it now, many months later, it's easy to say what Nigel did was so awful and wrong, but at that time, I think it was the right thing for him to do. It may have been a difficult decision/moral dilemma for him - though it wouldn't have been for me, as best as I can imagine being in his shoes. The criminal justice system has enormous advantages over individual defendants, and what seem like "silly due process rights" to some are really, really important.
