Wow this is a good 4th of July! Like I said, get ready to track more players on the field. This may have started out as singles tennis but is quickly resembling a rugby pitch.

He is lazy and has sociopathic tendencies. Before the whole RE mess he got himself into, the signs were there, but he was at least able to keep a regular job. Once he bought his properties, he thought that the market appreciation would do all of the work for him.
One time, he even patted himself on the back after sending out 2-3 emails with resumes in the span of 1 week, thinking that this was enough effort to find a job.

But someone on eBay using the ID "jeffd1975" is located in Oklahoma, not California as one might expect from an alleged insider. It could be a coincidence, because the "jeffd1975" ID isn't linked to the Gmail address, but it's certainly odd.

That just didn't ring true for me. It would ring true that he would ask, but not that she would go along with it. Everybody talks about her being subservient to her husband, but even my friend's superreligious, very traditional Catholic wife would never quit paid-for school for a short-term gig just because he said so.
It has been mentioned that Casey and Galina argued, she expressed her dislike for certain things, she was able to stop working on rehab projects even though Casey wanted her to, so the whole "she does what he says" thing just doesn't hold water.

Geez tuition as I recall at the college was only like 300 a semester...Casey goes thru that in one day...it's not like he got THAT much money back. I go to contract, then I introduce the parties, then IF they go into business together I get paid on a percentage and a performance basis.

Hey Rob, those pretty rockets you show got me in trouble with municipal law last night. Yeah, I know, I was trying to carry on the tradition with a little civil disobedience.
The interesting thing was that I was all done shooting 'em off when the cops showed up. Some kids saw us shooting bottle rockets, so they showed up with a sackful. 10-year old kid was tossing firecrackers into the street when a police car shows up.
Lady cop says she doesn't like to do this, but has no discretion in the matter. Confiscates kid's fireworks (I had none outside at the time). Says she needs to issue a citation, so who's going to take responsibility for this operation? It's my house (with my housemate) so I go talk to her. She says she's sorry, it sucks, then gets my info and starts writing something. I thought it was a warning.. nope! Notice to appear. Possession of fireworks.
Fireworks are legal in state here, but not in the city limits.
Court date Friday. Should I contest? I'm willing to take responsibility for the consequences of shooting off fireworks, but it appears I'm being charged with possession of fireworks I was never in possession of.

Yet YOU went out of your way to contact and HELP this criminal.
Casey leaving Galina and running off to Australia were not criminal acts, they were acts of a asshole. Were you not offended or concerned about his criminal actions. I doubt it since you went out of your way to contact Casey and then tried to help this criminal negotiate his consequences and accountability.

Well it appears that Casey, in his new post, has admitted that even for a potential lawsuit he is going to adopt the "ignore mode" defense.
This kid will not understand anything until the sheriff comes and arrests him. Only at that point will it become obvious that even when his eyes are closed, reality is still there waiting for him.
