DISNEY HOTSHOT BUSINESS...
entrepenuership game!
thats the only thing casey should be playing!
Looks like the new owner needs to protest the tax value of 184,000
And Moist!
Not, So-Cal, but a fun fact that I learned from HBB:
In the Sacramento area, in
June newly constructed homes that came on the market plus foreclosures for the month exceeded total homes (new and resale) sold for the month.
I'm guessing a couple of those transfers were among family or friends. It doesn't make any sense that in the time frames involved the prices could have changed THAT dramatically...
Hey walt, it looks like edgar's sister may have gotten the boot too. No warning, nothing. Damn, that was quick!
@ Edgar
I'm not surprised. Won't be the last established haterz to be banned either.
Gradually people will realize that whatever is gained in the way of an easier to navigate forum (and it is a well-designed site) is more than offset by having to deal with the fucktwits in charge over there.
In a lot of ways, EN has improved since CHC opened. There are a couple of posters that I wish would return, like Benoit, but the decreased posting volume makes it easier to stay current and participate for those of us who are staying loyal to Rob and EN.
So basically all that crap about warnings and such is just that? Wow, fascist mofos, eh?
Running Springs? Isn't that one of those small towns on the way to Big Bear? So this is more of a vacation lodge than a house.

Half and half. Unfortunately the SoCal housing insanity drove people to these distant cabins for use as primary housing. I used to own some of these as rentals in Wrightwood, CA about 20 miles away but in a similar circumstance.
It's a pitstop on the way to Big Bear. Wrightwood has a little more going on because of its proximity to Mountain High and has a nice non-curvey road into the valley. Even still, I've seen the same idiots driving down that hill as I am going up it on my way to ski. When, which isn't that often in CA, it gets too snowy, I don't go up the hill. They still have to go to work.
