Organic Newspeak Doubleplusgood

If I DO delete your comment now it will only be because you’re being too vulgar or inappropriate or overly negative. I’m still keeping this place fairly organic (freedom of speech) as you can see.

This is freedom of speech? Yeah and the occassional In-n-Out burger is vegan.

FIRST

I got your free speech right here.

Did young Casey finally wake up from his nap? No updates on his properties? Modesto short sale? Anything?

Anonymous said...

His antiscript system could be (fairly) easily be hacked. The "security" words are like "made," "easy," "system." I'll bet the dictionary it uses only has 2,000 words or so.

Maybe his blog is highly rated but for every positive comment he receives 10-15 negatives. His fame is based on his infamy.

casey spends more time napping than my 12 year old dog and 4 year old son combined.

It is useless for him to do anything at this point except go out and get a job for whatever the hell he can and learn to live a cash existence.

If I was in his position I would just push all of it to the side and just let it go.

Sad thing is in the reality of it..there is zero he can do to save any of it..he is dammed if he does and dammed if he doesnt...

shortsale..he is screwed....foreclosure he is screwed.

even bringing this up in his blog he screwed himself more than anything else.

he should have just stayed in obscurity and prayed the whole thing would just go away.

Then spent the next 2 years working hard and doing his research and the right way to do it and then come back at it.

he's a tool....he deserves to go to prison.

Ogg the Caveman said...

Realistically, even if prosecuted he's most likely to get fines (hah!) and probation. He'll give up his mortgage brokers to stay out of prison.

For most people, the public notoriety that will result from the charges would be punishment enough. Not Casey. What I still don't get about Casey is his complete lack of shame. He's willingly brought upon himself what most would seek to avoid.

Why does he think he can sue Rob? Freedom of speech is guaranteed since Casey is a public figure who disclosed all of his dirty laundry in public.

Anonymous said...

I think Casey's brain is still trying to catch up to his body...he thinks and acts like a 2 year old.

2 year olds don't have any shame...they would rather be paid attention to even if in a bad way(hence the trolling and recent attacks) rather than be ignored. (His greatest fear)
You can bet Casey is going to be in a deep deep funk once he is no longer in the news, or as he is already finding out..no one really gives a shit anymore.

"Why does he think he can sue Rob? Freedom of speech is guaranteed since Casey is a public figure who disclosed all of his dirty laundry in public."

Careful with that. Freedom of speech is NOT guaranteed. That someone is a public figure does not you can't be held liable for libel. It just changes the burden of proof.

All a private figure has to prove is that you were negligent in what you published. An "honest mistake" may be mean you can be held liable.

With public figures you don't have to worry about negligence when you publish material. You're protected even though it's an "honest mistake."

But if you're reckless, publishing material in a malicious way, yes, you might be liable for damages. Though as I recall only private figures can collect punitive damages.

Anonymous said...

Wouldn't worry about libel or even slander, Casey has been hanging himself since day 1 with his blog. Just think about all he has admitted to doing, even all the stuff he hasn't admitted to (on his current blog) but we found out anyways. The way he lied about the involvement of his wife, though in a previous blog he was proud about how she was progressing. I swear the guy is pretty much handing his own head on a platter for any DA who wants some publicity.

Casey Serin is not a "private person."

Casey Serin is a self-anointed public figure and media whore.

therefore, Casey Serin cannot claim any "invasion of privacy."

as to any libel claims, if what Rob reports/comments/remarks as a blogger/journalist/individual is true, then there is no libel.

false and malicious statements are required by the libel statute.

Anonymous said...

On top of his self-imposed status as a public person, if you couch what you say as opinion, it's typically protected speech. The First does not give you the right to say whatever you want, whenever you want, but it does protect opinion.

So, if I were to say "I think, in my opinion, Casey Serin is a lying sack of shit who deserves to be strung up on an ant hill in the Central Valley in July, so the ants and he can be "organic" together", it's protected.

Not that L'il Casey can afford a lawyer, anyway. I doubt any lawyer, even a sleazy one, would take a case for him pro bono or on contingency, as it would assuredly be kicked up to the Supremes. Court time is $$$, and that's one thing L'il Casey doesn't have, nor will, for a long, long time.

As for the word "organic", it's just a word he misuses, he's a typical Californian in that regard. Ill-educated, full of himself, and lacking the vocabulary to express himself without using trite phrases he learned from snake oil salesmen, and slang.

It used to infuriate me, now I just ignore it - and I'm a total sucker for any woman with a big vocabulary! Forget the Jeeps, if you have a big vocab, and are British or Irish...I'm all in.

Is it me or does anonymous at 11:37 sound like Nigel? The syntax is very similar. Its ironick how the anonymous guy pops up whenever libel or copyright is mentioned. Did this board push the button of fear?

Anonymous said...

ogg, you may be right. I have suspected that Casey did not act alone, and that he will sing like a bird to save his skin.

Now, that doesn't mean the nega-hero gets off by any means. Ask Tony Soprano what happens to people who sing...

This definition is on why commentary about Casey is protected by free speech-

"The concept of the "public figure" is broader than celebrities and politicians. A person can become an "involuntary public figure" as the result of publicity, even though that person did not want or invite the public attention. For example, people accused of high profile crimes may be unable to pursue actions for defamation even after their innocence is established, on the basis that the notoriety associated with the case and the accusations against them turned them into involuntary public figures.

A person can also become a "limited public figure" by engaging in actions which generate publicity within a narrow area of interest. For example, a woman named Terry Rakolta was offended by the Fox Television show, Married With Children, and wrote letters to the show's advertisers to try to get them to stop their support for the show. As a result of her actions, Ms. Rakolta became the target of jokes in a wide variety of settings. As these jokes remained within the confines of her public conduct, typically making fun of her as being prudish or censorious, they were protected by Ms. Rakolta's status as a "limited public figure".

Casy is the new Terry Rackolta. Can anybody tell me why these anonymous people think this does not apply to that FFF?

Casey fans need to realize he dug his own hole the minute he did that interview with USA Today. Case is now closed childrens.

If the anonymous posters can't accept this then they need to find better ammunnition.

You can look at the article yourself if you don't believe us.

http://www.expertlaw.com/library/personal_injury/defamation.html#3

Take that to Casey you freaks.

By the way ever read the law regarding harassment? Bush just signed one for folks who like to make death threats online. I am positive you support them.

Read this:

"harassment
(either harris-meant or huh-rass-meant) n. the act of systematic and/or continued unwanted and annoying actions of one party or a group, including threats and demands. The purposes may vary, including racial prejudice, personal malice, an attempt to force someone to quit a job or grant sexual favors, apply illegal pressure to collect a bill or merely gain sadistic pleasure from making someone anxious or fearful."

http://dictionary.law.com/default2.asp?selected=853&bold

Casey's gang threatened death on at least 3-4 posters last night and several more trolls seem to pop up to cause more mischief.

If you are warning others to "tread carefully" you should heed your own advise. Face it-all us anonymous fans of Robert's can easily oneup you each time you state something rediculous.

Anonymous said...

well, from the photos og VDubs, Casey's license plate number appears to be CA 4BUB954.

That information should be shared with our friends at Cash call.

@Rob - thanks for the doubleplusgood newspeak reference. I knew it had to be coming & was wondering how you would work that in.

@Nigel Smarmy or whoever the Anonymous "I took a semester of law so I am qualified to speak" moron is.

You continue to make yourself look stupid so you really should just stop. Go post supporting, loving, organic reassurances on iaff.
Rob is big boy & can take care of himself. And on the off chance he couldn't - there are plenty of us with REAL degrees, experience & lawyers on retainer who will rally around him.

Can someone give a quick recap of the Coyote property? I'm familiar with the other ones but I am confused about that one.

Anonymous said...

"Negligent Defamation"... that's a new one on me.

Also Florida requires before you can sue for libel that a demand for retraction be made.

I will be surprised if California doesn't.
@ bemused guy

I am with you. I swear, I believe some of those weekend real estate seminar folks are putting on law seminars from some of the legal opinions I see bandied about.

Anonymous said...

@bemused guy

There are even a few of us here without degrees, but have real world experience to match based on intelligence, a real work ethic and common freakin' sense.

Incidentally, That Coyote property is a weird one. However if it is Casey connected, we know why there's no window coverings or furniture - he couldn't find a buyer. Or maybe this was going to be one of his "Passive income" properties he gave up on trying to rent for double the other neighborhood rentals.

Anonymous said...

Wait, coyote property?

I like the car info to CashCall idea... Oh Heidi...

What was the gist of the post on the new, now deleted, blog?

And the vegan thing still pisses me off. What is wrong with him, honestly? He couldn't just say oops, he misunderstood the whole vegan thing, no, he just keeps persisting in redefining it as if his twisted stupidity changes the actual meaning of words. Argh.

Anonymous said...

I missed the whole thing with Nigel... why's he hated so badly?

Rob Dawg said...

Nigel isn't hated. He's shameless and unethical and a hypocrite. He's tried to drive traffic to his site with misleading links. That's the shameless. He's self described himself as an ethical mortgage broker. He's also claimed to be in favor of free speech on his own terms but censors posts he disagree with. He's just not important enough to hate.

Anonymous said...

I just had an interesting thought. What if CashCall had hired the homeless guy? Oh, THAT would be very good my friends..Now what if CashCall hired a bunch of Looser homeless punks to camp out in each of his places.....Oh man...that would be funny indeed.

Rob Dawg said...

Casey doesn't owe enough money to merit personal attention. His name is in the hopper with thousands of others waiting for his turn of harassing phone calls.

Took a peek over at IAFF, a comment about Russ Whitney giving Galina a "hot beef injection" was let through.

I wonder if Tim from MBA is the one helping him moderate?

Anonymous said...

Actually, I know a guy who makes 'bout $10 million a year brokering lists of defaulters of every stripe to collection agents. Some of those agents are nasty SOBs. Think people who are sleazy enough to collect money from other ignorant sleazy people. Now you've got it. Robert Kiyosaki I think we have another career for you when your current one lands in the shitter.

Anonymous said...

@beezer:

Californians have very positive associations with being vegan, so no wonder that Casey wants people to think he's a vegan. However, being a dedicated vegan is a lot of hard work, not to mention expensive because you need to shop very carefully to make sure you're really eating vegan food.

Me, I'm with Tony Bourdain on that one. Vegans are crazy, rude nutters.

Anonymous said...

i learned quickly about casey's moderation addiction when i tried to address the stupidty and questions his reasoning about why he decided to link to some 'real estate we buy houses bad spelling' website

i thought it was dumb that he wanted to link but not be compensated because the guy was so cool or seemed nice or whatever he claimed

he emailed me and claimed that it must have contained vulgarities...

yeah right!

Yes, but he did wave his finger at CashCall in a very public way. That has got to tee someone at CC off enough to really turn the burner up, shouldn't it? Some Finook pulled that shit with me and he'd be meeting Mr Boltcutters.

Ogg the Caveman said...

@ Tony

The problem Cash Call finds themselves facing is that as they have a large public profile, they can only push their collection practices so far. Harrassment is one thing, but bringing Mr. Boltcutters to bear on the problem might just push some prosecutor or state legistlator into causing trouble for them. No, while they can certainly make his life uncomfortable, direct physical persuasion is probably not in the cards.

Hey, maybe you'd be interested in buying the debt from Cash Call.

LOL said...

Cashcall is the least of Casey's problems. I want to know how he is going to pay the mysterious "promissory notes" totaling 27K (balloon due end of April).
