Consequences Loom

I love risk. At first I even had that little voice in my head that said "this will end badly but the kid's got a pair for trying." Of course as the saga unfolded and we learned the details that little voice changed. Now our snowflake is entering the bargaining phase of his all too public death spiral. He bagained some time with the begathon and cashcall doubletalk. now he's trying to borrow some breathing room. Why you ask does he need this? That's his problem of the moment. The walls are closing in and he's blaming the haterz™ who have been pointing this out all along instead of understanding the true nature of his problems. Another case of wasting time in fruitless pursuits. Even if we all transformed into nigelbuttbuddies™ he'd still be screwed. Now come the revelations that we don't know the half the story. I call BS. There's just no way there's anything at this point that can materially change the looming consequences Casey set in motion last year. Dandelion cannot feed himself (eting his sister-in-laws food for free) but expects to generate $3500/mo in free cash flow after expenses to cover debt? NFW

It's not a matter of risk when you're dealing with Casey and Nigel. Dealing with stupidity and insanity is more like it. Risk involves one realizing the outcome of a certain task may be favorable or unfavorable. My dog knows this when he debates whether or not he wants to jet across the street, but he realizes his action would have an unfavorable outcome. Nothing Casey has done shows any sort of planning ahead of time or debating what the outcome may be. He consistently dives in without weighing the possibilities. That's not dealing with risk, that's working with stupidity and insanity.

Aw. poor wittle Snowflake is ANGRY that we blew up his Dancing Chicken on a Hotplate™ act that was his path to fame and fortune! Bwahhahahahaha.

God, the childlishness and petulance is growing exponentially! His posts now REEK of sour diapers and temper tantrums. Wow, what a WINNER Galina landed!

Imagine working with an egotistical baby like that! Don't tell him to get a job, that's not fair to the people who would have to work with him! (Or god forbid, under him)

Cut shithead slack? Casey, get over yourself, bitch. You don't deserve it, and won't until you understand WHY.

It's over, shithead. Your audience is now all Haterz™, and you have no "Foreclosure Help' to offer. Give it up, and get used to hair nets and nametags, you fucking loser. Don't try and get a job with any real responsibility, so it will be one less person or company left high and dry when you're hauled off to jail for corporate fraud.

Asshole.

Casey: FUCK YOU. Sincerely. Thank you, have a nice organic day, shithead.

My new favorite Casey Quote:

"Impulsively I ceased the moment."

A whole lot of truth in one short sentence.

Unknown said...

Casey has had the stink of desperation for the last few months. The latest post sure seems like a last gasp of "I tried but you all just demaned too much".

BULLSH*T

Casey (and we all know you read EN) you didn't do a DAMN thing to get yourself out of this mess. At least nothing that was actually WORTH doing. You deserve what you've got coming, even if it isn't a LONG vacation with Bubba. Your life will be forever rememebered as the looser douchebag that couldn't get himself out of the hole he dug.

(FYI the key is to STOP EFFING DIGGING!)

Ok, I know Akubi and Jade will keelhaul me for bringing up the N-word, and Lost Cause will figuratively kick me in the balls for going off topic, but what's up with this article? Are Nigel and Mark Swaby one and the same or are they related and both work for Affiliate Crew? Just curious if anyone knows.

I don't really get into the Casey/Nigel story, but I did want to comment on contacting the FBI. Tread lightly. The FBI has a lot of serious stuff on their hands, and one fraudster skimming off a few thousand in cashbacks isn't at the top of the list. Getting calls from people on another person's case--however well-intentioned--may look like tampering with the course of justice. I called the FBI once on an issue that meant a lot to me when I was much younger, and got the polite but firm message that I only needed to contact them if I had solid evidence. Lesson learned :) .

That said, government enforcement agencies do NOT like people, especially celebrities or psuedo-celebrities, who publicly flout justice. Mr. Serin's publicity at this point is rapidly reaching the point where they cannot ignore him, and if they decide that he is hurting the U.S. Justice system's reputation, the gloves will come off.

Case in point:

`Girls Gone Wild' creator in custody

There are plenty of bad jokes to be made there, but in all seriousness, this was a person who flouted the law, and is about to pay the penalty for it.

R-Boy said...

Tampering would only work if it was a continous pestering by the same folks.

I don't think there's much to it other than people don't like to be told what to do, or something. I was genuinely suprised with the FBI'ers reaction, everyone else I have contacted has been cordial and communicative.

Anonymous said...

"What do I have to do to get support around here?"

One thing: get a J.O.B. you fucking loooooooser.

That's a classic Casey post though.

P.S. Everybody tip your 40 for the Girls Gone Wild guy.

BTW, I have not made "nice" with Nigel. I decided that getting through his thick skull wasn't worth my time and effort.

I'll give the guy a little credit for doing some good trolling. He didn't seem to have much luck with his 'reputation management'. If he truly knew that he was going to be foreclosed upon in August, his ass should be sent to jail. That means he bought the properties with no intention of ever making a payment. And yet he wonders what he has to do to look good in our eyes.

It's past that now Casey. Don't worry about us and what we think of you. Worry about yourself and your wife. Sorry that you Grand Master Plan to be the next Donald didn't work out. If only you had listened a little more to your gurus, it just may have happened.

Anonymous said...

I don't see how repeated calls, even from the same person(s), could be considered tampering, obstruction, etc..

Especially not if the subject of those calls is found or pleads guilty.

Of course, like any other government entity, the FBI does not appreciate civilians telling them (how) to do their job. Basic public choice theory, people.

The FBI does not see its mandate as catching criminals. The FBI sees its mandate as: 1) protecting its turf, and 2) expanding its turf. This is why there is legislative oversight of executive agencies.

Once again, all public choice theory.

This analysis is confirmed by BadjerJim's unfortunate experience. Face it, folks, the FBI does not see Casey as any sort of priority.

You might have better luck pushing a local DA to file charges, but the FBI doesn't care.

@ Dawg,

Wiley Coyote of Utah has made some serious accusations directed towards you. He has claimed you essentially "threatened" him on DHC, which led to him deleting several comments.

Would you care to elaborate on what transpired? Not to escelate things, but to make such a claim has legal ramifications.

R-Boy said...

Sid,

Public Choice eh? I learned it from the guys who pioneered it (Buchanan, Tullock)

Good times, and yeah, you're right. The DA might be a much better avenue. Let's try that one.

R-Boy Said "BTW, I have not made "nice" with Nigel. I decided that getting through his thick skull wasn't worth my time and effort."

This is good to know as he makes it sound like you did indeed "make nice".

I doubted it but like you said, getting that through to him due to the density and lack of quality of the tissue found directly behind his receeding hairline and between those goofy ears, it probably is worth mentioning to him.

After reading DHC this morning, it looks like Nigel Swaby is feeling the heat.

He's projecting his own rationalizations onto Caseys situation. He's convinced himself that if Casey hasn't been dealt with, then neither will he. He's cringing at all the activity going on with people digging up dirt, connecting the dots, and leading to exposing him for who he really is. Everything his hands are in has come into question now. From his employer, to "Mark Swaby", to "Mr G" and who knows what else will be discovered today?

Better crank up the shredder Nigel. We're coming for you!

Anonymous said...

I have a feeling we'd get a lot more traction with law enforcement if it were the lenders who complained.

Thing is, they won't. For them, Casey is just part of the cost of doing business.

Peripheral Visionary said...

Very interesting article, very relevant to the current situation:

Getting to the Constructive Core of Criticism

"What's the best way to deal with criticism? Is it to have a thick skin and suck it up? Yes and no. The best approach is to separate the vitriol being directed at you into two buckets, one comprised of legitimate feedback and the other with information that probably says more about the criticizer than about you."

I would agree that you should tread lightly contacting any Federal authority - we do have the right, but they are people you don't want to bother! I called a main number out of the phone book when I was younger to find out about how to join the DEA, and was treated in a similar manner - I did'nt do anything wrong, but they do NOT like random phone calls! They are paranoid, and doing what they do, do you blame them? Once the DEA guy found out what I wanted he was totally cool and told me all about it - until then I was getting scared shitless and realizing I might have messed up, because how he was questioning me and what questions he was asking. I had that icewater in the bowels moment then, and it's not fun.

Could be the guy you called does nothing remotely to do with what Casey is guilty of, has a caseload that is killing him, and doesn't want a bunch of Haterz™ calling his direct line, because he's not the guy to talk to.

I know that would piss me off!

He's just a dude like you and me, you gotta remember, and it's not TV or the movies where he can just flip a switch and Casey is doing the perp walk, even though he might be working child abduction or credit card fraud.

Plus, keep in mind, they will not and cannot tell you anything if Casey is an ongoing investigation. Don't even ask. You may hear things, but it's their job not to tip off potential perps, and they probably would'nt like their play blown up here.

Nigel is writing Casey's posts now.

And Nigel is also filtering comments.

Nigel has taken over Casey's blog.

Nigel looks like a child molester.

Rob Dawg said...

"The Threat." Snigger. All that happened was I predicted he would remove the previous few posts. he did and I reposted them. Knowing he would delete them again I reposted them 5 or 6 times so that it would become clear to Nigel that he can't rewrite the internet. "The Threat" was after those 5 or 6 posts I mentioned in one final post that he should consider those 5 or 6 represenative of the 42 times I should have posted it. Once for each of the replies in the thread he was attempting to censor. Stupid little child Nigel misunderstood this to be me threatening to actually repost the deleted material 42 times.

So, there you have it; "The Threat" as Nigel imagines it.

He's just lying about everything he thinks he can't be caught on. R-Boy didn't make nice, the person who contacted him didn't apologize as described, and I didn't threaten. Liar and hypoctrite, beneath contempt.

Anonymous said...

Here's how a DA will get involved... use the power of public opinion and the media to call their attention on CK. Plain and simple. CK has used the media to portray himself as a victim of the brokers and the bubble. Call on the media (newspapers, TV) and connect the dots for them, and demand as honest taxpayers to have this type of scam dealt with as per the law dictates.

Anonymous said...

Perhaps the FBI 'is' working on Snowflakes case but I was wondering about something. Due to all the bluster coming from The Wicked Witch of NY (The H Factor) and other politico's, would it make any sense for residents of the states where Snowflake committed fraud to contact their duly elected representatives? One could point those folks to his blog and ask why, oh why, are the law enforcement agencies dragging their feet on this matter. Politico's in the midst of this subprime implosion don't want to be seen as soft on the perpetrators and might light a fire under the law enforcement folks.

Anonymous said...

Thanks Dawg. I surmised it was ole Wiley fibbing again. What a petulant, immature, and behaviorally challenged person.

For the life of me I cannot imagine anyone actually using him in a professional manner. He is an outright liar, and of questionable morals and ethics. Exactly the type of person that shoule not be entrusted with your finances or confidential information.

Wiley Coyote of Utah can attempt to spin the truth to suit his perception of reality, but as an old law professor once told me , "You cannot change history." His actions cannot be undone, regardless of his blatant revisionism.

Anonymous said...

True Anon. How about a massive email campaign to the likes of USAToday and others for a followup to their INACCURATE portrayal of Snowflake?

Something to the effect of 'Have your reporters even read his blog lately?'.

Is it true he is on Nightline tonight? A quick bombardment of ABC might help as well if that is true.

Anonymous said...

I'm surprised anyone went to the effort to actually post a comment at Nigel's new DHC. Not really worth it.

But he'll revert back to the old forum sooner than later though when he sees the traffic vanish. Nigel needs his traffic - even if it's all Haterz!

Just emailed this to Nightline from abc.com .

I have heard you may be doing a story on Casey Serin, the real estate investor/speculator. If so, I would appreciate someone reading his blog at www.iamfacingforeclosure.com to get more of the REAL story of his fraudulent activity prior to the airing of the program. He has admitted to many things on this blog. Past media coverage has portrayed him as victim when in fact he lied on loan applications and did many other things (his admissions on his own blog - not anyone's suspicions). Thank you.

Anonymous said...

If you insist on contacting the DA or FBI, etc don't go directly to what is basically a caseworker who gets his/her assignments handed to them.
Ask to speak with the PR department. Express your concern about all this internet & media traffic and how bragging about blatant fraud is making their department look bad.
Call like that are what get action.

Also, Members of Congress looove, looove love to hear from constituents. If say, 2o people contact the junior Representative from California they'll be compelled to make a few calls. And guess who to? Yup, probably the FBI...who, hopefully will have received a few similar calls in their PR department from the public. And that is how it all dovetails together.

Anonymous said...

Didn't Nigel say that Mark Swaby is not related to him? Who's to say Mark isn't his real name? He taunted us for making that assumption but I have to ask who is Mark Swaby and what is his relation to Nigel if they aren't blood?

What Nigel doesn't understand is that for all his efforts to erase the posts from his blog means they go someplace else. Google still picks them up for those curious enough to google him and see his reputation. He's fooling himself if he thinks he will be able to spin folks to support him. He mentions a "writer" sending him an email of support the other day. Ok, ONE writer, huh? That's the best you can do? I'd think you'd have MANY supporters.

And lastly we have Casey. More delusional claptrap from a kid who is only PR'ing his story to somebody at justice who cares. Yes, Nigel maybe the FBI is investigating and that is it, but the more Casey runs with this story the more he's going to find a reporter who wants to dig deeper than CS is willing to allow. THAT will open the floodgates for the FBI and local law enforcement to move.

"What do I have to do to get support around here?"

a) Let go of the fantasy that you will _ever_ be a successful real estate investor.

b) Don't borrow any more money.

Anonymous said...

Isn't that Wired article a bit old?

Why does he repeat the same crap over and over? It isn't fooling anybody. He says he isn't spinning it but he is. Every interview has Casey saying the same crap the same exact monotone way. If that ain't spin I don't know what is.

If he stopped borrowing money and created a business with VALUE I'd give him props. He can't do it. He's too impulsive and he won't wake up to that. HE dug the hole and now he's hoping we don't bury him in it.

I love how he is so worked up yet he does this to HIMSELF. We only point out the obvious to keep him honest. Am I jealous, he asks? No fucking way. Why or how could I? If the foreclosure site gets done and he REALLY helps people I might be okay with that BUT I doubt he'd be able to provide any value to those distressed folks who come to him for help. He's great at talking (Nigel of all people pointed this out!) but his impulses will get him in more trouble.

He asks if I run a business. YES I do. What he does is not business nor is it entrepreneurial. He must think all us "haterz" are loosers like him.

Idiot.

Anonymous said...

Heekee at Camp Idiot (Zewg guy) posted that Casey's traffic is dropping fast. Makes me wonder if this post is a panic move meant to get the haterz in an uproar and generate traffic.

@Rob Dawg: "The Threat" was after those 5 or 6 posts I mentioned in one final post that he should consider those 5 or 6 representative of the 42 times I should have posted it.

Actually, I think that when he says "he started threatening me on this blog" he's referring to this (deleted) comment:

You keep doing what you do and I'll keep reporting it to the proper authorities.

A threat? Maybe. But the way he refers to it now insinuates, without ever actually stating, that the threat was more physical. Slippery, Nigel.

(On the other hand, though: I thought the cut-and-paste attack was wrong.)

Rob Dawg said...

(On the other hand, though: I thought the cut-and-paste attack was wrong.)

Yes and no. Actually clogging a blog with cut-n-paste or other attempts to break a site are wrong. Putting up 5-6 and pointing out that I deliberately didn't put up 42 was making a point that he couldn't stop the truth and I wasn't going to try to break his blog by seeking censorship as he was.

Anonymous said...

Rob - one and all:

I'm going to post this on the next string to assure no one misses it... so forgive me.

I believe Casey's post today is to deflect the ABC Nightline story tonight.

Notice how snowflake is always writing about his coverage and stuff? He has not said anything about the Nightline interview or that it will be played tonight -- geez, I wonder why? Could it be that they asked the HARD questions?? Could it be the story won't be "all good" but a little negative?

I think CS went trolling with his latest entry and is trying to minimize the damage from tonight's story.

I have some questions and comments for all of you Haterz.

1) Are we all positive that this isn't just great performance art a la LonelyGirl? It's becoming so over-the-top that it seems fake.

2) Has there ever been a professional psychologist or psychiatrist who's wandered by the site and made a quick diagnosis of the guy? I am neither of the above, but he seems to have a personality disorder, specifically narcissistic personality disorder. All of the symptoms point right to him. (Check it out -- it describes him to a T).

3) If you write a comment on his site, it looks like you have to provide an e-mail address. Have those of you who have done this received a lot of spam? Is he selling the addresses?

4) I think it would be really interesting to ask the opinion of someone who specializes in (former) East Block countries and their business culture about the pervasive corruption there. I am not too familiar with this, but I know that in East Germany corruption was rampant, and very successful people were above the law. It really was all about who you knew, not what you could do. There was a problem with the work ethic (Gee, I wonder why?). If those are the values that CS absorbed as a kid, then the outcome is not surprising. (I DO NOT want to imply that most immigrants from former Eastern Block countries are corrupt or lazy, since they aren't, but he may have gotten the lesson from his family).

5) If he's really doing what he says he's doing, he's making all of his decisions based on the blog value and not based on real life outcomes. That is just plain crazy.

6) I wonder if he is keeping his wife at home because she was hearing too many comments about the blog from other students. I bet he's a really manipulative bastard to live with.

7) How likely is it that he will be prosecuted by the government(or persecuted by the lenders)? I've been reading the site and the comments for a few weeks, and I'd like to see if "the system" works.

When I first heard about his site a number of months ago, I figured he was a normal guy who had made some mistakes. Now that I've actually read the site and learned that he is mentally ill and/or a con artist, I'm just really curious about how it will all play out. Guess I'm not alone.
