What Is He Hiding?

Casey has disabled the Nigel_Swaby account for instant posting. Apparently misrepresenting yourself as something you are not is a violation of his personal ethical standards. Snigger.

The Drama Queen Looser is milking the situation for sweet traffic. He'll pop up this weekend with some lame excuse for not getting ______ (fill in the blank) done.

Snap! It's what's for dinner!

"Just take a look this rambling mess you just posted. As usual, it’s chock full of “I should”, “I might”, “I’m seriously considering”. Casey, you’ve been seriously considering maybe looking into discussing with the wife things you might think about doing for over six months now. In the end, you usually end up doing nothing. In those rare instances that actually find you taking action, it’s almost always something completely retarded.

Taking down IAFF isn’t going to make it all go away. That sense of impending doom that you’re feeling is actually impending doom."

Honestly Wondering, well said.

It's 7AM so snowflake should be upand have the dubbs packed for the 75 mile trip. By the time he gets there the Modesto Harbor Freight and Tools will be open and he can grab the $29.99 bilge pump that's on sale. Not too far from the Smart & Final where Bleach is on sale too. Dubbs be gettin' ~25mpg hwy so 175 miles is gonna cost 7x $3.24 call it $25. Any bets that at 2PM when he should be back instead we get an excuse "on the road" post? Is there an Olympic Event (or pin) for this particular aquatic event? Casey takes gold in the 75 Miile Hydro Avoidance Finals!

Od as Nigel might put it:

The boy will need a pool supply store - or some place where he can get a 12% hypochloride solution to clean that cesspool.

Oh, and someone to transport it, since it is a hazardous material :>

He won't show up. Manual labor interferes with his nap time.

Casey's response to things getting really organic last night:

"Wow.. lots of good feedback and some good questions raised up. I’m gonna have to address them with on a live talkcast. When is a good day and time for everybody?"

Translation:

(Through gritted teeth) Freakin' haterz! ARGHGHH!!

(pauses)

Heh heh, I mean, hello critics. I will certainly address this through one of my damage control call-ins where I can control the situation and vaguely answer only the questions I choose to. Even though I never answer anything to anyone's satisfaction, this allows me to put on the air of keeping things open and transparent. I just want to help (myself to) people ('s money). Good things are coming down the sewer pipe.

How I am planning on getting comments shut off... it's a win-win for all of us.

1. Install the TOR/Onion Router Anonymizer stuff from here.

2. Install the Torbutton Add-On for Firefox (let's me turn TOR on/off at will).

3. Register on Casey's site with all those great gmail/yahoo addresses they keep letting me create.

4. Post comments in many languages using Google's translator.

I bet I can keep it up for a whole 30 minutes or so until my ADD takes me to something else.

The Dude,

I totally agree. All day yesterday was a set up for today's reason why he can't do what he knows it the right thing to do.

Interestingly, I know how today will end. This will be a colossal failure, guaranteed. And much fodder for ENers everywhere. My prediction is as follows:

Gets out there late, barely gets the pool drained before 4-5 o'clock this afternoon, starts shoveling crap, it gets dark. No electricity, so no ability to work by decklight. Must leave, maybe will consider returning tomorrow. Won't return to finish job, gets call from realtor on Tuesday saying liner has given and the pool is now full of crud, mosquito larvae and dirt from where the wall gave way. City comes to remove hazardous material and and sticks Casey with $1,000 bill. Pool is destroyed and repair will cost thousands. Short sale offer is pulled and house is foreclosed.

"PimpMyGalina"

Now tthat's funny. Especially when it resolves to Nigel's award winning but suspended blog. I'm not getting it. He doesn't own a house but Mark Swaby does but still he talks about putting up tile and claims he has a pool?

Actually the nasty redirect to Nigel's award winning blog may be Casey's perfect revenge on that backstabbing wad. Yay Google! How you like me now 2759???

I strongly recommend that everyone use a terrible name and redirect to Nigel's Award Winning Blog. Sweeeeeet traffic. Hehehe.

In the distant past, I owned a house with a swimming pool in the Bay Area of CA. At the time, I was a writer/consultant to Silicon Valley companies, and often faced horrendous deadlines.

At one point, I had a project that had me going 16-20 hrs a day, for a month straight. And I just put the swimming pool on "lender ignore" mode. A really bad mistake. I had leaves, green murk, the works.

My only possible excuse was I had a blue pool cover on, which disguised the extent of the damage. And this is with the pool pump and filter running on schedule, every day.

I can only imagine what 6+ months of no filter or water circulation, no chemicals, uncovered pool as a leaf-catcher, etc. will look like. The satellite pic gives a clue.

I knew someone who ran a pool maintenance company and gave him a call.

In my case (since I wanted to use the pool again), I had to start by neutralizing the life forms growing in there. Dumped in 5 gallons of chlorine, and double the recommended amount of special chlorine shock treatment. 6 hrs later, I did a water test: ZERO residual chlorine! Pool maintenance guy said this would be typical… that the bio-forms just absorb the chlorine. Repeated the chlorine process… now up to about $100 for chlorine. Then I spent a day raking out leaves and muck from the bottom of the pool. And $150 to replace a completely clogged pool filter element (this, 20 yrs ago).

Finally, to make the pool right again, I had to pay pool guy to drain the pool, and acid-wash the plaster walls (which is what he'll have in Modesto, not a vinyl liner). The process involves using hydrochloric acid splashed onto the walls of the pool, and wiped down with a special abrasive sponge-thing. He remarked that I was "lucky that I caught it in time" or else re-plastering the surface of the pool would be the only solution.

As it was, a month of dedicated pool neglect cost nearly $1,000. And that was with me doing all the work except the acid washing.

Nigel has left the building...I wonder if anyone will notice. I count 11 comments total on his entire fron page.

TK,

With all due respect you give Snowflake too much credit.

It takes a looong time to drain a pool, so your other predicted outcomes won't have time to come to fruition.

Haterz know his behavior patterns all too well by now. If he gets to Muncy at all, he'll decide to dump some chemicals in the pool and leave it at that. Delay is easy, and he knows with certainty that it will become someone else's problem by next Friday via shortsale or foreclosure. So why would he bother?

Any other result or actions on his part would astonish me.

No it's not.

FlailingForward and others are doing a *fantastic* job pinning Casey down with questions.

Crap like you're suggesting, and crap like James Harvey Marks' cut-n-paste spam, gives Casey an excuse to ignore the tough questions.

If you want to harass him, the way to do it is to press him for answers and admissions of guilt.

Sprezzatura said...

Casey is not going to Modesto. Something will come up.

@badjerjim

Too true - a pool left to it's own devices will do what it's supposed to do - turn into a stagnant marsh.

If there's black algea, the Snowflake is screwed, that's what the scrubbing/replastering is caused by - once it gets into the plaster, it's almost impossible to get out - it can even regrow through a new plaster job if you don't kill it all before you resurface.

Whoever is unlucky enough to buy that house down the road is facing a lot of work to rebuild that pool to where it's worth keeping - if it's as bad as I think it is, the best option would be to fill it with sod and grow roses, or drain it and charge local kids to skateboard in it.

God knows whats wrong with the rest of the house, with no heat all winter. Burst pipes? Can't tell, shithead can't afford to have the water on.

It's maddening, that's not a bad little house - vastly overpriced and in Modesto, but I'd LOVE to find something like it in the Bay Area. As it stands right now, I'd demand a HUGE discount off any price for the amount of work it's going to take to get it back in shape.

lawnmower man,

you're obsessed i think. if you think Gaysey has been "pinned down" or backed into some sort of corner that will ultimately result in the big confessions, you must not be reading the same blog i have been.

Casey is a one-bit wanna be scam artist who's failed at being a crook.

nothing is going to come of his blog. he hopes that somehow his infamy will bail him out of this mess he got himself in.

at some point a creditor will come after him or one of the many investigations by authorities (not internet detectives) will get him.

that day the blog will mysteriously disappear and we'll be left to try to figure out who got him first.

if i find it entertaining to try to get comments off and you don't, too bad. you are not the arbitor of the blogosphere.

Never claimed I was. I still think spamming his comments with crap is childish and counterproductive though. Sorry.

Casey is a one-bit wanna be scam artist who's failed at being a crook.

On this we agree. However, I don't think he's stopped trying; which is why continuing to try to expose him matters.

After all that, Casey still shuns any notion of getting a job.

Even though it's more than obvious that he would have brought more income in over the past 6 months serving french fries than anything he's been doing.

Taking his massive debt into account, I've never seen anyone lazier. And that goes for Galina too. Yulia is an enabler.

Rob Dawg said...

I will say that spamming once to slow the futlity of trying to control the content is an acceptable form of speech. To do it more than to prove a point is when it becomes childish and counterproductive. As evidence it appears even Nigel is not trying to control replies like he tried briefly.

Nigel's too busy trying to stab Casey in the back by launching his own 'I will help you beat foreclosure' site. Except Nigel's too cheap to even spend the money on a decent domain name; he's trying to launch it on blogspot.

Anybody who does this stuff for a living will tell you that you MUST get off the free hosted services if you want to be taken seriously as an online business.

Anonymous said...

but i heard Nigel's service was about 25% cheaper than Casey's! Not sure where I saw that.

Here's a thought: perhaps Nigel is setting himself up to buy IAFF when Casey finally throws in the towel?

I think Nigeypoo is probably the only person who would pay money for it at this point.

This guy Nigel is a real dynamo. He never stops trying to figure out how to get attention to his failed businesses. You can get a pretty good idea about the quality of his services just by knowing he was KC's partner. Aughhhh!!! Those two disguste me!
