Blogspot is experiencing "hiccups." Patience, and don't get worried if there are gaps in posting and such.

No worries, I think we can all do with a break, to collect our thoughts and get recharged for the next volley.

I'm really curious to see what L'il Casey does next, he's got to see he's lost his audience to this blog, and that we're most likely not coming back: that's got to shake some action out of that monkey-filled tree.

My bet is he plays the soap opera card, as usual - the half-truths, trolled phrases and muddled thinking, or more G drama.

Will it work?

Nah, but you'll get plenty of action, and the troops get lots of cookies. Not a bad endgame, sir! :)

actually, yesterday his viewership was at a new record. but the responses are declining (or being moderated).
I dont read most of the responses anyway.

The next big twist in the Casey Serin Story™ will likely take place on February 14th, when CS has scheduled an appointment with his CPA to go over his taxes.

Anyone care to speculate how much his taxes will come out to this year? Five figures? Six figures??

Ironically, it will also be Valentine's Day -- the word is that Casey plans to give Galina a few more credit cards as a gift... then reward himself with a Jamba Juice for being such a caring spouse! :-p

NLL is back. I guess they got all the editing done...dunno.

seems NLL removed alot of the posts on Casey.

@ aaron,

The last post by NLL detailing the entire CS experience was removed. The other 2 remain.

They have refused to post my comments pertaining to the NDA.

The NM property is set to auction around the 14th also. I am sure we will see more last minute short sale drama.

He is so fucked on his taxes. Of course nothing was withheld because he's too good for one of those 9-5 jobs, and he's going to owe a LOT.

How many people told him to save his money so he could pay his taxes? That taxes aren't dischargable in a BK?

He is so royally fucked. The FBI might ignore him but the IRS is going to make his life hell.

Oh wait, can't you pay taxes with credit cards now? Nevermind.

as for NLL - looks like PRLinkBiz got the boot because Kimber is flying solo? NICE!

I like how they're also turning off comments because they're so busy. Right, and George Tenet just wanted to spend more time with his family.

I think you would expect the traffic to spike with Casey dropping the “I’m finally going to answer my Hater’s direct questions” post, which of course, was just more of the same tired old BS troll bait. This coming closely on the heels of his riveting “A day in the life of RE Mogul” post.

To paraphrase “The Babushka Wears Prada”, I think he’s going to have to keep on pulling those posts out of his A$$, to keep people coming back. I think even old condom hat realizes this.

--------------------------------------------------------

Re: His taxes.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think A$$hat had much reported income (you know Chris won’t 1099 him) in 2006 that was taxable. One month of his looser “W-2” job, that presumably had taxes withheld, a small amount of Google Adsense revenue.

What else? I don’t recall when the Texas foreclosure went through Dec or Jan? But even if he gets 1099’d in 2006 for the shortfall, I think he has more than enough legitimate expenses related to the properties to offset this (mortgage interest expense alone had to be at least $15k per month). I doubt he will have to pay anything this year. And you know, sure as God made little Green Guru’s, he’s going to try and claim every $37 Jamba Juice and $43 Latte as business expense.

I could be wrong. What say you?

I don't think you can deduct mortgage interest for investment properties, can you? I thought you had to actually live in one (of course he lied about that on the loan application so he might try it for the IRS). You can also only deduct interest for your first and second home, not anything over that.

Meals are only half deductible and there are some pretty strict requirements on that. Plus, do you honestly think Casey saved receipts?

The TX home went into foreclosure in 2006. Are there any tax consequences from these "wrap" deals he's doing?

any CPA that deals with casey risks losing their license.

A note on our FFF's legendary technical skills: He appears to have botched his blog configuration. I'm seeing stuff like this in comments:

Casey\’s

His blog software expects magic_quotes_gpc to be off, but he's turned it on. A minor point, to be sure, but one that anyone with PHP experience should know to look out for.

Why I am the unctuous, self promoter who hitched my wagon to the bumbling but loveable white collar criminal Casey Serin.
I've been accused of being the modern day Eddie Haskel of IAFF!

This is inaccurate though, I am far more disingenous and malicious than the tv version.

I spend hours dropping turd links to my blog, (which has readership in the thousands) on every site I visit.

Did you know I have a bat phone, yea man DL called me on it once.
Casey emails me and shares things with me like his ad revenue. Why once I claimed that yahoo news picked up my Casey story but Tony Montana outed me for paying for that release myself!

Anyhow I think Casey is intelligent and a shrewd investor you can read about that on my press release.

Please visit my site often, I really need the ad revenue.

Thanks! Oh can I be YOUR ethical mortgage broker?

Casey & 2006 income taxes:

Assuming that he ran his 'enterprise' out of his personal accounts, I would expect him to try to Schedule C everything in hopes of being able to get a sweet refund.

Knowing as we do his lousy attention to detail and record keeping, he will not be able to get his taxes done in time. (He'll be lucky if any decent tax preparer is willing to take him as a client. Talk about a walking nightmare.)

Casey, upon discovering that there's no way he can get this mess sorted out by April and that he won't be able to pay any taxes he does own, will file for an extension, conveniently forget to send an estimated payment, and then be surprised to find out that despite repeated reminders to the contrary, filing for an extension does NOT get you out of having to send a check. Hilarity ensues.

From NLL:
Due to unforeseen circumstances, No Limits Ladies had to take a brief break. We apologize but hey, that’s the internet world. Stuff happens (that holds true for the “real” world too).

That said, I’ll be flying solo here for a bit. We’re real businesswomen, with real businesses and real investments. One of the reasons, we teamed up on this blog was so we could trade off on posting when off-line opps and situations came up.

We’ll also be turning off comments for a while. I do enjoy reading our legitimate comments (shout out to Matt!). However, I travel quite a bit, am working on a novel deadline, and honestly, would rather spend time on my posts than moderating the comments (99% of which are unfortunately spam).

Gee....99% of her blog's comments are spam. I guess nobody gives much of a f*** what she has to say. However, she does give a concise explanation for the problems...stuff happens! ROFLMAO

Critical comments = spam. At least our boy let's negative comments in, how else would he maintain any traffic? Maybe the other NLL partner is teaming up w/ a lawyer to file a lawsuit against CS.

At least there's one positive thing about being $500k+ in the hole, what could someone possibly collect from him in a lawsuit? Even if they did sue him and win, they would have to wait behind the IRS. Pity the fool that does CS's tax returns this year.

I noticed he just updated the wife's credit card due dates to February. I thought he only paid one?

His listed negative net worth is at $550k but that doesn't include the $50k the ass clown decided he doesn't owe. Not to mention his property valuations are probably too high, closing costs to sell, and a huge tax liability.

I bet the true number is closer to $1 million in the red vs. $550k.

But no jobs for them!

I am not so sure he owes the $50K to CountryWide or not. It probably is part of and contingent on a short sale package (or maybe they said "hey sign the 50k note and then we will consider the short sale" which is akin to the BoSox paying millions for a chance to talk to the Japan Leagues baseball star, but I digress). but whether he owes or not is besides the points, those points being:

a. he signs it just because it is sent to him and more importantly

b. he is unsure what he signed, he is not sure if he owes the money or not. Can you believe that? I know to the nearest ten dollars how much I owe on my non cash back at closing house, but Casey doesn't know whether he owes the money on a freaking note he just signed?

Sweet.
