Health Tip

It is "said" a shot of wheatgrass juice can help cleanse the blood and other tissues, but just how much of the green stuff do we need? Meyerowitz suggests 1-2 ounces of fresh squeezed wheatgrass juice daily, although therapeutic doses can be up to 4 ounces. For the more dedicated enthusiast, wheat grass can be taken as an enema!

Alright, try to restrain yourselves.

Wheatgrass enema?

I thought the consensus prescription here for Casey's afflictions was the steel toecap enema.

I got a wheatgrass enema once, when I crashed my mountain bike. I failed to notice any health benefits.

I think one could argue that every wheatgrass shot Casey consumes is, in fact, a wheatgrass Enema.

Q: What's the fastest way to get a steel-toe boot up Casey's ass?

A: Tie it to Nigel's face.

Thanks you, thank you, I've got -2.2 milion of 'em.

Just wanted to acknowledge the "Casey Serin" post (#10) about "some poor schlub's life". That was me. :)

I couldn't believe he let it through... sadly, he has since removed the Casey avatar, and the name "Casey Serin" has been replaced with "Anonymous".

Still got some good responses though... muahahaha

I will refrain from the obvious "Bubba" enema joke.

It's kind of too real to be funny anymore...

I joked about a wheatgrass enama once here. I never thought it was a reality for some people.

You had wheatgrass? I only had rocks.

Bah. Kids these days.

Rocks? You had rocks? We had to wade through eleventeen feet of snow fighting dinosaurs all the way and then we had to make our own rocks.

Ogg-

It's not as if I haven't a rock enema before, I do live in the southwest after all. I also fail to notice the health benefits of rock enemas.

I make no comment on your "kids these days" statement, since you still ride a rigid, you badass.

@ JimBobJoeBobJim:

I have not observed any health benefits from rock enemas either.

The rigid bike has been demoted to winter commuting duty only. There came a point where I was crashing entirely too much, so I decided to get a bike with one of them newfangled suspension forks for off-road use.

Now I see that one of the latest fads is riding rigid singlespeeds off-road, and I just shake my head. Evidently some folks have stronger legs, better knees, and a lot more finesse than I do.

The whole notion of 'cleansing' the blood is just out and out rubbish.

As are juice fasts, dieting to cleanse impurities and other new age nonsense.

Man was meant to eat bacon. Take my grandparents for example; they had never even heard of cholesterol, and both of them lived well into their forties.

The guy in the picture looks like he enjoys many, many enemas.

And today's post on IAFF is on: sweet fresh juice. He's reading here; and he's taunting us.

Hi Casey! How's the POS Jetta?
