Casey has sent a transmission from deep inside the reality distortion field: I am canceling all agreements I’ve ever had with you about my domain or the “settlement” [which was really done to get Marty off my back (I’ll settle with Marty myself)] or anything else you may be expecting from me. I’M OUT!
I don’t want to make a big scene out of it.
Liddle boi wants a do-over. I'm not out of line here speaking for others by predicting that the answer will be: NFW.

MURST!!!
First we should have a little story.
Politician is assigned a new driver for the limo. He asks the driver his name.
"Charles", the driver replies.
Pol replies "I prefer to call my staff by their surname, what is your surname"
"Darling"
"Very well Charles, drive on".
First and Liverwurst!

@Casey: "NO MORE BLOG
NO MORE BOOK
NO MORE BEING PUBLIC
I’m done with this toxic jungle"
. . . and yet he just keeps on posting. It is an addiction, plain and simple. He keeps telling himself he's done, and yet he keeps going back.
I repeat my former comments, and once again in the voice of Comic Book Store Guy: Best. Internet. Drama. Ever.
Oh, and I'm wondering if there is a polite way to bring up the point I made--before everything blew up--about Casey's attitude toward contracts . . . No, there is no polite way to say "I told you so", so I won't say it, I will have to be content with being right. ;)
Only in Caseyworld does a signed legal agreement be cancelled because he says so. Tell the judge you don't want to abide by the contract Snowflake because you think it's unfair, see if he agrees with your assessment.
Casey can use the same excuse he has been using on his lenders. "Well your honor, I intended to abide by the agreement, but I didn't like the hard deadline to sell IAFF. What's a signed contract anyway? It's not like I followed through any of them before, why start now? If my mortgage lenders understand, why can't you? I intended to pay back my mortgages, I just didn't say I would do it in monthly payments. I thought I could sell my purchased properties within a month of buying it. Arbitrage and leverage simultaneously are the sweetest deals possible. This signed contract with Mark and Duane was just leverage to get a better deal somewhere else. I need a lawyer, a Jamba Juice and Macaroni Grill in the worst way. It's all good, right? Judge?"

oh no the domain aftermarket is slumping, another 10% price chop!
10% for fishy treats
10% for galina's bar tab
domain transfer subject to wishy-washyness and i reserve the right to seek higher offers even after we agree upon price, i may even hold some of the divorce & drinks fund for my sushi&cigarettes fund.
Someone had a list of contracts or agreements that KC had broken, I guess we can add to the list.
He seems to have a serious problem keeping to his commitments. I guess he finds the negotiation and deal making interesting and doesn't ever want that part to end.
And Moist!
In Caseyworld nothing can be said to be certain, except debt and taxes.
NR (apologies to Ben Franklin)
Where is snowflake living these days? Wasn't he kicked out of the house?
A VW down by the Sacramento River?

Well, guess it’s safe to say they’ll be ONE commitment Casey will stick to; whether he likes it or not!
(Forgive my being glib about this whole thing? I just can’t stop seeing the humor of one who believes canceling a court effective document, is as easy as saying it ain’t longer so.)

(Back to work for me)
Interesting picture choice, Rob.
What are you trying to say?
You guys keep forgetting that Casey is an ideas guy, not a details guy. You're missing the big picture. Casey is making deals, he's signing papers and making radical transitions in his life.
Why do you have to make such a big deal about what's written on those papers?
Seriously guys, lay off. Casey's probably signed his name to more papers than people 3 times his age. Why are you all so jealous of that fact?
@LMP
nah he's not serious, even Casey knows the legal ironclad way to cancel a previously signed contract is to publicly post NO DEAL!!! (caps and !!!s important) on the web.
Unbelievable, keep us posted.
The next hearing is tommorrow? with the expectation of a TRO? or just a scheduled hearing in 10 or so days.
What happened(s) to the friday hearing?
Casey is just delusional, what more can be said? He really thinks invalidating an agreement is as simple as decreeing it so. With his manipulative skills and complete lack of conscience he could be very dangerous someday.
Mark, beat this punk upside the head with the "legal stick"! Pigpen hasn't experienced any legal consequences for what he's done. Please be the first to demonstrate them. You take a lot of abuse on the net but I'm glad someone is doing something about this worm.
Interesting picture...
Casey is black hole sucking psychic fuel from surrounding Haterz that get a little too close to the event horizon, and he is spewing their remnants in his blog as these unfortunate souls spiral in.
FWIW, I think the *only* sincere thing Casey said in the fraudcast was the bit about his "weakness" -- that he's easily talked around.
It seems to me that every time Casey has had a long "heart-to-heart" with Mark, he's ended up impulsively and temporarily aligning himself with Mark. The phone conversation from Australia which led to him giving Mark the JV agreement "as a sign of trust"; the after-court lunch which led to him agreeing (and by Mark's account, requesting) the settlement terms.
The same seems to have been true of Casey's dealings with Duane and Nigel: get into a one-on-one conversation and he'll be all sweet agreement, but it won't last.
Casey was afraid to call Marty for fear of what Marty might talk him into; I wonder what really happened on *that* call? Did *Marty* set Casey up to kick over the settlement?

There's a webcomic called Dr. McNinja, and predictably, it's about a doctor who's also a ninja. The good doctor often gets into scrapes with authorities, but it's worked out so that if he runs back to his office and yells 'BASE!' the Law has to leave him alone. Casey apparently is an avid webcomic reader.
@LossMitPro: I just can’t stop seeing the humor of one who believes canceling a court effective document, is as easy as saying it ain’t longer so.
That's Casey for you.
As I said over at CHC: Casey has yet to see any real consequences for reneging on his contracts. Experience has taught him that he *can* wriggle out of them; and because he's essentially broke, his jilted partners have little recourse against him.
It sounds like Mark and the court are about to teach him a very -- forgive me -- *compelling* lesson.
I think also Mark has been very shrewd in identifying Casey's real assets: his blog, and his story.
Ha. Casey's greatest asset is his sociopathic nature! Monetize THAT, Mark!
That's so cute.
I wish I could have used that line to get out of buying my new car 3 days and 300 miles later :)
Like I said all along folks, Casey is a Con-man. You cannot trust them.
I puke in my mouth during Thursday Talkshow of Casey/Mark/Duane where they were saying all was good and how Casey had made a come-back.
LawnMower:
> I think also Mark has been very shrewd

Yes and no. Those are the real assets, but taking them will not stop this.
Casey will start another blog and the crowd will follow. Blogging is his real asset, IAFF is just a vehicle. A new blog will pop up, word will spread, and his hits will be back where they are.
His story? What Mark is trying to get is old stuff - you can't sell the rights to the story that hasn't happened yet. CS is done with the whole forclosure thing, he failed. It's all last year... he wants to forget that and go on to new things.
Mark won't be able to stop a new blog - free speach issues come up immediately. This will continue until LE steps in.
To be fair about the Thursdat 'cast. Mark & Duane said trust AND verify. They also said this was a chance and Casey had taken the first steps. They also said they were prepared should he step out of line. They also set up the entire story to make it plain that if anything were to go wrong it would be Casey's faul and Casey's fault alone.
Casey may try to run, either in realworld or just by relocating IAFF as has been suggested. The problem is that the new IAFF won't have media reach and Casey has absolutely no money to do this on his own terms. He's got to find hosting for free for a million pageviews per month. The compromises are not going to sit well with someone who wants to control the story. Besides, He's got nothing left. The paperwork is out of reach, the courts and everything have independent sources. Anything he does is going to be hounded by creditors. His net presence is over.
Rob -
> The problem is that the new IAFF won't have

I don't disagree it'd be tough, but just being Casey for the next six months will be rough.
The old content isn't needed, just more of CS's "oh shucks, the world is being MEAN to me" BS. There are always more to buy the crap and there is always some bottom feeder willing to work with him for page hits - he could find a host.
Personally, I thought this would have died out months ago, but it has managed to continue. Media would come, they always have.
Ignoring CS completely would be the worst punishment for him, he'd simply be forgotten. Won't happen - it's entertaining, but it would be the best way to be rid of him.
Correct that to say:
There are always more people to buy the crap...
This is a probably a dumb question... But I'm assuming there no cancellation clause in the KC-LMP agreement for Casey to invoke?
@ Sarah
You are correct (not a “dumb question” at all); one party cannot cancel an effective Settlement Agreement. Not gonna happen, both (all) parties must agree to revisions. Casey cannot simply state to the world he didn’t mean it, and expect that to fly with the court. In CaseyWorld realms of civil justice maybe, but not in the real one.
~Mark
Ha. Casey's greatest asset is his sociopathic nature! Monetize THAT, Mark!
You joke, but someday somebody will put Casey's greed and sociopathic tendencies to ill-use. Think about a conman who goes to nursing home enticing seniors to invest in useless futures or land. Aside from Galina, to date Turdflake's victims have mostly just been banks or former business partners (both of whom should have known better). When he starts ruining vulnerable individuals, that's going to be when he transitions from infuriating to insufferable.
FWIW, Duane suggested on the haterzcast that there are more, as yet unknown, bus plunge victims out there.
@ LMM
True, although I interpreted that to mean other business partners/suckers. I have trouble feeling much sympathy for anyone who gave him a loan or formed some sort of joint venture.
I guess what I'm afraid is that he'll stop trying to improvise these scams on his own and instead hook up with someone organized who will worry about the details on let Turdflake focus on what he does best: lie through his fucking teeth. Then he can do some major damage.
That's actually why I'm not sure if going away to a white collar prison is really the best thing for the Sacramento community. Organized crime has a name for prison: "college." If he learns how to be a more effective criminal--ie, finally finds his long sought after mentor--then he's going to be more of menace than the nuisance he's been thus far.
Heekee will host IAFF for free again. So I doubt his net presence is over Rob.
Rob, I love the picture. I've been watching a lot of science channel and they have had some amazing shows regarding the universe.
The picture of the black hole sucking matter out of a nearby star with the jets of ejected gas (can only fit so much matter into a funnel) is simply amazing.
I know others posted about the picture as well, but I wanted to add my virtual two bits.
