Sunshine on Our Fliptard Makes Me Happy

Good morning Haterz™! I trust everyone had a pleasant evening, relaxing, enjoying their quiet weekend, wondering when the fireworks start his holiday. Right on schedule the SoCal "June Gloom" has beat its annual retreat. There's a Red Tailed Hawk sitting on my trampoline about 20 feet away eyeing me suspiciously. Come for the hunting of small rodents, stay for the blogging that does the same. Was there anything anyone wanted to talk about today besides the weather and birds of prey? Oh yeah. That. Okay, there's one more secret in this series and I'm just putting it together and garnering context and have an email out requesting clarification. Should be sometime early today but you know these things seem to have their own schedule.

Muahahaha! So Dawg, there was some speculation on the last thread that Fliptard "missed" his flight to SFO. You got any intel as to whether or not our fave Dandelion actually came back to face the (Jaws theme) music? *grins*

Oh, and furst, moist, and liverwurst, too!

R-boy,
The post was already up for 8 whole seconds. Whatever gave you the idea that you even had a chance for "first?" Just kidding. Yeah, I saved pieces and didn't say anything so Casey will have to fly home, hours and hours without internet, wondering if the other stuff was coming out. Drip drip drip... flood.

Morning Haterz!
I hope your day is as wonderful as it was in GMT+1. A breezy day in the high 70's, cycling along the brook under the trees...ah, bliss.

Even returning home and logging into see the latest in the hot mess that is Mr, Serin's life isn't in any way offensive. Looks like I will have time for a nap before the next installment.

Bored? There's about 800 comments from yesterday. There's a haterzcast worth gold. I'm typing up an illegal immigration rant. There's backchannel chatter on the real situation with Riverpark and a Casey family member. If that isn't entertainment then rumor has it there are several if not dozens of blogs out there that aren't EN.

I tried to stay up for the talk cast, but it was way past my bedtime. Transcript anyone?
Let me know, because as soon as I go to work tomorrow, it will be next weekend before I can get caught up again.

Poor Casey - my neutered cat has more potential of getting laid than he does. What a bleak future this underdeveloped manboy has in front of him.

BTW, was in Wal-Mart yesterday and saw a young guy with a MURSE! It was the prissiest damn thing I have ever seen - what does a dude put in a purse?? He kept adjusting it - it had big ole buckles on it so it wouldn't look so fem, but it screamed WOMAN!

Mr. Dawg -
I have never done the Sydney - SFO run. How long is the flight? And even though Casey is a tiny little 'belle, I can't imagine even him being comfortable in ...coach.
Of course I am sure his seatmates are even less comfortable. It's bound to be an odiferous experience, don't you agree?

What sort of con man scams that much money & doesn't save enough for a business class ticket?!

@ Bemused,
My Aussie friend, who married an American, told me the secret to the grueling flight is a script for a sleeping pill. Although, some doctors say that is risky cuz blood clots can form from not moving and walking around, combined with the changes in cabin pressure.
The flight, if I remember correctly is 13 hours, never mind the many time zones.
I think you actually loose a day.

Anonymous said...

You gain at least a day flying back, depending on what time you leave.

The flight is not that bad - they will dim the lights and you can normally get some (bad) sleep.

I have flown Perth --> Sydney --> Auckland --> 6 hour layover --> LA --> Dallas Ft Worth --> KY for a total of over 35 hours transit time before.

Sydney to San Fran = pissweak.

I spent a year going to China. 15 hours there, 13 back (tailwind). Oz is about the same. I did it in biz class with a near 180 reclining seat and an occasional sleeping pill and it was tolerable.

I CANNOT imagine doing it in economy - less leg room, narrow seats, limited reclining, and other peoples' kids doing their normal kid stuff. The only plus of sitting next to Casey would be that he's scrawny and wouldn't intrude into your space much.

When I take long flights, I'm usually pretty "lubricated" before I step on board. I'm asleep by the time we level off. Of course, I'm not facing an angry mob when I arrive.

As for being lubed up on a plane...am I the only one thinking he was managing to explore his curiosity in Sydney, one of the gayest cities on earth?

Anonymous said...

@ Bemused 8:52--

Nah, I doubt exploring Sydney for the bi-curiosity factor was a main reason for going Down Under. (Pun semi-intended!) He could have stayed a hell of a lot closer to home for that; he only lives a hop, skip, and a jump from San Fran. (Then again, I'm applying logic to Fliptard's motivations, so who the hell knows.) I'm just thinking that random hookups w/men would be easier and faster to come by (ha!) via a quick run to SF in the VDubs, but Fliptard's thought processes are often a mystery to me.

And, yes - I forget about wheatgrass emmissions. Ugh - odiferous! Sound wouldn't be an issue - I use Shure SE530 earbuds with silicone triple flange sleeves. Killer bass. Effective passive isolation instead of active cancellation. Cost more than Bose - but don't have Bose's "look at me" factor.

Casey seems like the kind of seatmate who would constantly fidget, sigh, moan, whine and wiggle. And probably constantly needing to go to the loo.

As for Casey, he'd be back in trouble soon enough, but at least next time the innocent would be spared.

Flights from Australia:

I posted this late yesterday, and will repeat.

On the way down, Casey flew Air New Zealand with a stop in Auckland. They are the only airline that offers reasonably-priced tickets at the last minute. I suspect he'll be coming back the same way, especially if Mom is paying for it.

His possible ports of entry are SFO and LAX. In either case he'd then switch to a short-haul flight to Sacramento. Flying through SFO is a bit shorter and an easier airport to connect at, but LAX has more than twice as many seats available. Cost is pretty much the same either way, so I wouldn't bet on one or the other. Probably whichever is available sooner/cheaper.

Flights that he could be on would be:

NZ 2 arrives LAX 240pm
NZ 6 arrives LAX 1240pm
NZ 8 arrives SFO 1225pm

He would most likely be transferring between NZ and a United/United Express flight, as he did on the way down. At both airports, this would require a terminal change.

Any way you cut it, it's a pretty hellish trip. 3 hours Sydney to Auckland, a couple of hours for a plane change then 12.5 hours Auckland to California, then customs, another plane/terminal change and a short commuter flight to Sacramento.

Qantas and United also fly between California and Sydney, but at present time are much more expensive than last minute fares on Air New Zealand.

Anyone know if Postal Inspectors or whoever had jurisdiction will arrest people for wire fraud?

Seems like Casey has used the mail for his "sweet deals" and is probably up for some sort of attention for his wonderful activities using various means of communications which would fall under the wire fraud statutes.

By the way, I wonder if Casey knows that they issue condoms to all new incoming Federal prisoners. As a Murse carrying pretty boy he will be loved in prison....frequently.

You guys are all losers. You're just making up all that Galina stuff. Where's the proof that you're communicating with her?

Well, I tried to post a comment on IAFF last night quoting the e-mail purporting to come from Galina about how Casey's been lying about paying her $1000 a week. I said that if it was fake, Casey would need to take immediate action to denounce EN for peddling lies about his family.

Guess what? The comment didn't appear - and the "Your comment will appear in 3 to 24 hours" response no longer appears either, confirming it was censored.

Now surely if the e-mail had been anything other than completely genuine, Casey would fall over himself to denounce the "haters" who have sunk so low as to impersonate his wife? And since he didn't do that, I have to conclude that the e-mail was genuine.

Not clinching evidence, granted - but pretty revealing nonetheless.

FlyingMonkeyWarrior said...

Yes, telling circumstances, indeed, I reckon.

king friday the 13th said...

>> Where's the proof that you're communicating with her?

On a technical note, where did Galina address the notice of legal separation? Just want to help Casey know where to look.

To the Roseville UPS store drop? To Casey's parents house? Or did she just nail it to the door at Yulia's place?

FlyingMonkeyWarrior said...

king friday the 13th...
Casey probably does not know where he lives yet and will find out from G when he arrives, I deduce. That is where the notice for separation documents may be waiting.

If you're thinking he's connecting at LAX, he could be returning via Oakland International, rather than SFO. Southwest has a billion connecting flights each day from LAX to OAK. Oakland International is also somewhat closer to Sacto. Here are today's arriving flights:

7750 Delta 7:50AM 6525 United 8:34AM 1783 Southwest 9:10AM
2778 Southwest 9:40AM
833 Southwest 10:10AM

Oakland International is a surprisingly nice, calm and quiet airport, and the flights I've had to LAX from there are quick, convenient, economical, and especially comfortable on Southwest.
