Saved I tell you

Just when the forces of the evil blogosphere threatened to engulf us all the NAR comes to the rescue. We are "saved."
From that miserable MSM POS: The national median existing-home price is projected to rise 1.2% to $224,500 this year, higher than the 1% gain seen in 2006, according to NAR. Laugh? Cry? Weep for the children?

I hate that my dues are paying for the NAR to say this kind of bulls*&%

"The median new-home price should grow 1.7% to $249,600 in 2007, following on a 1.9% increase last year, according to NAR... As for 2008, NAR expects existing-home prices to rise 3.1% and new-home prices to grow 3%"

But those numbers reflect nominal prices, right? With inflation (not the CPI bullshit numbers the government puts out, but independent estimates) at around 4%, it looks like the NAR is really saying that after declines in 2006 and 2007, its expect a more modest decline for 2008.

And that's not even getting into the potential manipulation and inherent flaws in the "median home price" methodology.

Even if you take the numbers the NAR is putting out there on its face (and no intelligent person should), it sure seems to me that its indicating a declining market with only stagnation on the horizon.

A few answers:

* Nobody that I know has been getting any more CashCall loans, people are just trying to mess with me. CashCall is still calling me and offering a loan modification with lower payments. I’m thinking about it.

* Utah wrap status hasn’t changed. Still a payment behind. The property has been extensively remodeled is for sale though. The investor that wrapped it stands to make a pretty nice profit. At least one of my facing foreclosure properties ended up being of use to somebody.

* I find ways to pay for daily expenses through various means… I sometimes wonder myself how it all happens but so far so good. Barely scraping by but not going into any more debt which is a good thing. I am considering a W2 job… kinda.

* Relationship with wife is doing pretty good. Not paying her credit cards at the moment but she knows good things are coming so its all good.

* If you think the blog is getting stale then leave. I’m not keeping you here. However, there is a lot of stuff brewing but I’m not sure how much of it I can share… yet. The haters always criticize my every move and my current deals can get compromised if I share too soon. So because of all the haters I have to start being more secretive.

* I will tell you though that the I am Facing Foreclosure experience and me sharing it publicly has been a crazy ride and a blessing in disguise.

* I had some more problems with my computer so I’m behind on email and other tasks… I apologize to those that tried emailing me.

He has nothing brewing. Easy for him to say the haterz are making him go silent (yeah, right Casey). He admits not paying the wifey's cards. Hmmmm....she is fine with this?

Anonymous said...

Why nobody ever takes the NAR to task for anything is totally beyond me. It will be interesting to see as the whole house of cards comes crashing down and they can no longer spin it.

Haters are forcing him to compromise his "keeping it organic" pledge??

Whatever happened to being open and honest?

What kinds of legitimate deals could be compromised by haters? The only deals I believe that could be compromised are illegal ones, or ones where the other party somehow doesn't know about him - i.e. full discolsure to the other party would kill the deal.

G knows good things are coming? What a laugh. I can't believe she still buys it. She doesn't. She's keeping things happy-happy while she plans the excape lest he become wise. Grow up Casey! You're fucked!

"I'm not sure how much I can share - yet"

Can you say old skool attempt to keep people interested? OMG I better stay tuned!

Regarding Casey;

His haters are definitely making him go silent. The more he discloses in the name of honesty, the more he has to lose. The AdSense information was a perfect example of that. No future business relationship can ever succeed if it's subject to the scrutiny of the public. If any of his deals were any good, someone else could easily jump in and do better.

Regarding the NAR:

Stricter lending standards are going to take a bunch of potential buyers out of the market and an increasing supply can only cause house prices to go down.

Did someone out there have information on who issued all of Casey's loans? They obviously didn't subject him to much scrutiny, so I'd like to look at their fundamentals.

Think about what? No money = no payments to nobody. What Cashcall is doing is testing defenses to see if there is anything left. If so, they want to be first in line. Heck, cut dandelion's interest rate in half. He still cannot pay.

* Utah wrap status hasn’t changed.

Note to all: Time. Time is money. Time has elapsed, the "status" has changed.

Still a payment behind.

Ooops. A little slip there sweetie. We haterz™ knew YOU were a payment behind but until now your story was the payment was "missing."

The property has been extensively remodeled is for sale though. The investor that wrapped it stands to make a pretty nice profit.

IF it sells at the current price now.

At least one of my facing foreclosure properties ended up being of use to somebody.
Shaking head, no. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

* I find ways to pay for daily expenses through various means… I sometimes wonder myself how it all happens but so far so good. Barely scraping by but not going into any more debt which is a good thing. I am considering a W2 job… kinda.

$800/day in debt accrual less than $50/day in income, more than $100/day in living expenses. Do the math sweet pea.

* Relationship with wife is doing pretty good.

Translation: I'm lying to her.

Not paying her credit cards at the moment but she knows good things are coming so its all good.

She "knows?" She knows nothing.

* If you think the blog is getting stale then leave. I’m not keeping you here. However, there is a lot of stuff brewing but I’m not sure how much of it I can share… yet. MORE SECRETIVE?

* I will tell you though that the I am Facing Foreclosure experience and me sharing it publicly has been a crazy ride and a blessing in disguise.

Baby Enron.

* I had some more problems with my computer so I’m behind on email and other tasks… I apologize to those that tried emailing me.

Dawg ate my homework. No dummy, dawg is gonna eat your assets. Fucktard isn't strong enough.

Anon @ 1:06 - where did you see this/his answers?

They're in the comments section - #76. Dandelion is too lazt to actually put posts together - so he baits comments and the majority of his content ends up there.

Why the hell doesn't anyone think this clown picture isn't scarier than the last?

Not paying her credit cards at the moment but she knows good things are coming so its all good.

It's obviously not all good, is it? The "protect G's credit" goal was the one Casey stuck to hardest and longest; now even that is up in smoke and they're both circling the drain together.

I'm guessing the days when she believed he could pull money out of his ass are gone; oh, somehow he pulled off the Utah trip, but that was simply pouring more money into Casey's fantasies. Wheatgrass shots with Nigel don't pay the rent.

And boy, that "various means" is evasive as hell -- nice to see the commenters at IAFF calling him on it. My guess: mostly it means "handouts".

TK - I can't seem to the access the comments; I get 'ready in 10 minutes' error. Oh well, not like I will lose any sleep.

Any chance of taking some tip jar money and hiring a Private Investigator to tail Casey for a couple days? To find out exactly what the bloody hell this slacker does all day. I'd certainly chip in!

Anonymous said...

How long has it been since he's been saying "good things are coming so its all good"??? Even his wife has got to be sick of hearing that line.

The market goes negative more than 240pts today, subprime is blowing up at a spectacular rate, mortgage bankers report rise delinquency rates, liquidity drying up, Mazilo (that f'ing lizard) on CNBC bemoaning the fact they are throwing the baby out with the bath water, etc etc etc. And in this environment we are to believe a murse carrying, organic hair waxing, debt-ridden, soon to be 8-time foreclosed upon Uzbeki Snowflake is going to pull sweet deals out of his a$$ to make it all good.

Yeah, I'm buying all that, that's the ticket. Not much snake oil left to hand out from the trunk of the VDub.

@Rob

The reason why the newest clown doesn't scare the people in here as much, is because most of us are over 12yrs of age.

Rob Dawg said...

Benoit,
The tip jar was only a few hudred dollars of which half came from a very few extremely genrous souls who I assume wish to be anon. It has been a few weeks since any new tips and more than half has gone to the server farm and naming hosts. There's is enough for a couple of pies in the face but not enough for a PI.

Casey's in la-la land if he thinks *more* secrecy is going to shut the haters down. It just means more speculation.

Because really the hatin' boils down to this: we don't trust him. He's drawn inexorably towards shady deals; why should we believe, against the evidence of all his past behavior, that whatever he's working on now is legitimate? And adding more evasiveness, more secrecy, just adds to the fishy smell.

If he really wants the haters off his back: how about a bit of honesty for a change?

Shady deals = Lazy work ethic

How do you guys figure the Utah payment was stolen? The buyer would certainly have sent the checks to the other facility. I don't understand how he can just sit around and not track a payment when those people clearly came to help him out.

That stuff just makes me so mad.

Just posted on IAFF for Nigel's benefit as well:

Let's see if it gets through.

"ASW- Sign Here

That'll be what the DA says as he slides the plea agreement across the table. Oh the irony!

Had to add a little post. First in a while. And it's about your buddy Swaby. He's afraid you'll leave him (and his traffic generated by you) behind when your blog finally hits the skids (fast approaching).
Swaby suggests you not let the hater comments through. Well here's a tip - you want to keep things organic, Smarmy does not. Several VERY intelligent "hater" comments never made it through on Swaby's lame blog because they made him look like a complete fool. Before you go taking advice from him, remember that he thought there would be some excellent opportunities in the subprime market. The two of you in business together is a thought that keeps intelligent investors up at night."

"How do you guys figure the Utah payment was stolen?"

He setup the escrow. if a payment get returned and they can't figure out who to send it to it goes to Casey.

It's referenced somewhere on this blog.

Anonymous said...

Utah payment was "missed" as our looser says. Who "missed" it? Why he did of course.

Anonymous said...

Somebody slap me.....I just read Snowflakes remarks on his blog and was beginning to feel sorry for him. Fortunately, I snapped out of it and got over here before I got carried away.

Anonymous said...

If he did steal the Utah payment, wouldn't his buyer know that he was the one who cashed it and then go after him?

Most people are not as lazy as Casey. That payment must've been, what, $3,000 or more. Unless that's a drop in the bucket, it's worth pursuing.

Well Rob, somehow you managed for find something perhaps equally or likely even more disturbing than a clown.

Skullhead Jackson and Clowns, both child-molesting FREAKS. (except Homey of course)

LOL. I guess камрад Snowflake remembered to take his "uppers" today.
