2x4 of Reality or More of the Same?
Has she who must not be named reached into the woodpile and pulled out a 2x4 of reality and applied it liberally?
Does anyone else remember Duane(?)alluding to deeper marriage problems between KC and G than had been previously revealed.IIRC this came to light after Duane's conversation with Steve Serin.
I am willing to bet it was a family effort to beat him back into reality. If that is even possible. I have never in my life seen anyone so resistant to the way the real world works.
Snowflake will be back...How can he just leave a blog when at the very least he can get some money out of it by selling it. This is just typical fliptard behavior and I can guarantee that he'll get rid of G before he gets rid of the blog.
And his recent comment about the fact that marrigage is to make you holy, not happy, AFTER his promise not to discuss his wife in any way probably gave her more ammo.
May 31 (Bloomberg) -- London's housing market boom may be driving out criminal gangs who can no longer afford to start up drugs factories in the U.K. capital, police officials said. Fewer illegal cannabis facilities are being set up in London, the Metropolitan Police Authority, which oversees the city's police service, said in a report published on its Web site today. The capital has as many as 800 factories and more than 60 percent of cannabis available there is grown in the U.K., the report said. ``Intelligence indicates that the number of new factories being established in London is gradually reducing,'' said the authority, a panel including lawmakers and government officials. ``There is a suspicion that house prices play a part in this.'' The report shows how criminals face the same constraints as homebuyers in a property market where prices have surged on demand from bankers and wealthy foreigners and a shortage of supply. The average cost of a London home increased 25 percent in the past year to 385,199 pounds ($760,000), real-estate Web site Rightmove Plc said this month. specially trained officers to identify potential factories, the report said. Electricity providers can also help identify suspicious sites, as factories rely on ``vast amounts'' of free electricity, the report showed. The police service ``has employed a number of tactics,'' the report said. It ``should be commended for this success but should not be complacent.'' U.K. house prices rose 10.3 percent from a year ago this month, increasing the average cost of a home to 181,584 pounds, a report from Nationwide Building Society showed today.
Which is the real picture? With the hips or without???
At the time the picture was taken it was without the hips.
I know it is unkind in retrospect but those were the images that most cemented my impression of kids playing at adult. They even treated real cash like play money.
Anyone up for a game of Caseyopoly? You start with houses and properties and try to get rid of them and any cash faster than any other player. Pass go and pay $200. In the end you go directly to jail.
Ah, Fear the Murse, that's just one of so many memories. Remember the Stick-N-A-Pool™ and Ratlab's big adventure? I laughed until I had tears in my eyes. Oh, those were good times.
I'm sorry I won't be able to make tonight's service. But, I'll be there in spirit. Is there a collection for flowers?
I don't think the "hips" picture is altered in any way. It just is cropped in a manner that draws attention to them.
But, I agree. she looked like a little kid (one of trump's spawn?) playing real estate empress. the clipboard a fashion accessory more so than functional.
Caseyopoly!!! Ok, lets start off with some Trivia: When snowflake said he'd get "a 1 percent commission ($15 million) for his trouble" What was he referring to selling?
Haterz Rule: These blogs are falling one by one across the Internet, thanks to the power of hating. As a long-time haterz, I can only say it's the vindication of my whole life that I have been seeking. Bring 'em all down.
@Anonymous 2:09: If he's smart, he'll park the domain on Sedo.com and collect the PPC revenues for about a year before it dies down. He'll make a few hundred a month with his traffic... I had a domain that got about 1/50th his traffic and took it down, parked it and made $75 or so a month until Google cleansed its index...
That would solve a few things: 1) no hosting required, no monthly cost. 2) no chance for anyone to manipulate the site and violate his or his family's privacy and 3) provide that sweetpassive™ he's been pining away for. It's not sustainable, but a few hundred a month for nothing is still not bad...
I'm hoping Casey checked out the Sac Bee today. Great little article on 242 REO homes going up for auction. 107 Sacramento homes on June 23rd. 88 in the Bay Area on June 24th and 47 San Joaquin homes on June 25th. Maybe one or two of his homes will be included.
With any luck, Casey might be able to pick up one of these homes on the cheap and start his comeback.
I may have the reason why Galina made him take the blog down. It's not very exciting, but for any fellow accounting nerds out there it may be of interest.
Galina was an accounting major before she dropped out. I know that Casey doesn't understand this, but anybody who has taken accounting 101 knows that unearned revenue is a liability. So although Casey was paid a couple grand for 30 days of advertising he only earned 25% of that the first week (roughly $500.00). The other $500 should be booked as debit (cash)/credit(unearned revenue). Or in other words Casey BORROWED money again. Galina wins---on a technicality that Caseys brain (which only thinks in terms of debt equals wealth) could never hope to understand. Congrats Galina, I love it when a plan comes together!!!
@j-dog: Excellent explanation, but she spent like a friggin' decade at community college with no degree to show for it. Not sure she made it to that chapter of Accounting Principles I.
@dm you may be right, but isn't that lesson Accounting 101-day 1. I mean, if you haven't even gotten that far can you really call yourself an accounting major?
Obviously though she doesn't know her acctg stuff that well, thus it just took her a couple of days to realize she had him beat.
Probably so. I was a CIS major and put off my Accounting I & II courses until the last semester. Did take Accounting in high school, though, but that was the point I realized I did NOT want to be an accountant.
Maybe Galina is pregnant and she said unrealistic blog revenue is no way to raise a little casey. After hearing it he went out and bought hamburgler outfits for it...
#1) If she's pregnant, she'd better hope the babies daddy flips burgers so at least she can double their current income.
#2) Did anyone else notice the flip from yahoo ads, back to google ads? I'm sure you all did because haterz never miss a thing.
Anyways, I'm wondering why the flip in such a short time. Also as was noticed in other messages, you aren't supposed to mix your ads with Google/Yahoo and he was doign that. So, the money he was earning in his adsense never came and he may have been adding that to his total as well.
Plus the money he had heared was for the month not the week. Therefore he would not be able to keep that up much longer.
A relationship with your wife is more than just a simple agreement on what you are going to do about money. That kind of arguement is just fallout from:
trust issues -Casey is a liar debt issues -they will spend the next 20 years reeling from the effects of their current debt validation issues -She's always going to be placed second compared to him happiness issues -She can't be happy right now and no matter how little he earns or how much he earns right now will fix that.

I suspect it was family as well.

Especially if somebody showed her the Caseypedia.

After some careful research, it appears that the first use of Murst was 4/6 in the 'Doing Pretty Good' thread. See reference info below:

@Fear The Murse: nope, here's one from 3/30/07:

*ahem* Serinopoly.
Maybe is was Steve Sering giving Casey the boot up his anus 7 days til Sunday.
Give it time folks. Casey will be back with it's all good(tm) BS.
First time I have seen the words "Sorry" coming OUT of Casey.
Casey is Sorry for losing his blog, not for anything else. What a scum bag.

and with the end of the serin saga comes the inevitible question.
how am i going to kill time on a slacky day?
I'm betting there was a tag-team steel cage match in the kitchen on Snapdragon Lane - in one corner, Galina and Mom, in the other, Casey and his blog.
Casey surrendered after the folding tables and chairs got involved.

What is how many koi Nigel owns. Er, I mean the I wish I had the key to G's chastity belt. I mean, shoot! I don't know.

My big question re: the KC drama is whether he got pedicures so G would suck his toes.
He seems like the type to enjoy a good ol' fashioned toe job.
"Take it all in, G! Now the big toe. Look at my O face! Oh oh oh oh! Now TWO TOES AT ONCE!"
What a minx she must be.
Nutrition
$500
The recommended daily allowance for wheatgrass juice.
@2:17: That's the most disturbing thing I've read all day. Make that all year.
For a new murse:
50K represents:
a) a promissory note
b) illegal cashback
c) 3 dinner at Macaroni Grill and two shots of wheatgrass
d) all of the above
For the bonus round: What is the latest piece of evidence that he really has to pay back the note?

For the Amana Range...
What is "90120"?
A. Part of the name of a TV show Nigel name-dropped.
B. Galina's Nordstroms' credit card balance
C. The number of hairs Nigel has lost this year
Time's up!
1-2 ounces (EN 27 Feb)
