This is the post where I officially stop reading or visiting IAFF forever... Pitiful.

I mean, HOLY SHIT!, that is a lot of credit cards and he carries them with him! Why hasn't he run them through a shredder? Any quite frankly, even though he "jokingly" says it, any mention of a stolen credit card on his site should probably be taken at least somewhat seriously. I wouldn't put identity theft past the little f**ker.

Rob Dawg said...

Your benevolent dictator (of the moment thus) speaks:

I did not read the IAFF exudation of the day. I will not. From what has apeared here it is so blatant an attempt at soliciting pageviews that the only ethical act would be to ignore. Awww, hell. No. Not ignore, just not visit.

"dm" is correct. Any sane person would have shredded 30 of the 34 cards.

EVERYONE is correct, this is not the fliptard typing.

Real Estate Investor Bag of Tricks

From my pictures many of you have noticed my constant companion on my real estate investing adventures: my “manbag” (incorrectly identified by some as “murse”).

Real Estate Investor's Bag of Tricks [enlarge photo]

It’s time to show you what’s inside the Real Estate Investor’s Bag of Tricks. Here are the contents:

Victorinox bag made by the makers of Swiss Army Knife - just the right color and style for the real estate investor to wear it with casual clothes as well as semi-dressed up. It completely zips up to keep all the contents safe. Real estate investor can even run with it - to catch somebody or run away from somebody.

Wallet with Credit Cards and No Cash - a real estate investor does NOT carry cash in this matching genuine leather wallet. It’s not safe and if you don’t have it you won’t spend it on impulsive deals. Smart real estate investor maxes out all the credit cards into great investments in order to increase cash-on-cash return. Also when there is no credit available a stolen card can do no harm.

Hacky Sac - for when the real estate investor is bored, like a the foreclosure auction.

The Original ALTOIDS Peppermints - the only kind that the real estate investor will ever put in his/her mouth. These keep the investor’s social networking going smooth at real estate investor clubs. Nobody likes a real estate investor with bad breath. These are the only mints strong enough to even overcome the wheat grass aftertaste.

Natural Tear Drops - keeps the eyes hydrated when the real estate investor is blogging his sweet deals late into the night.

PDA Cellphone - no real estate investor can go without a smart communication device - a blend of a PDA and cellphone. Keeps all the contacts, todos, and appointments synced with Outlook and within easy reach. Many a sweet deals have been done on this phone. Wireless internet allows moderating comments and blogging remotely. This phone is specially designed to help real estate investor dodge pesky collector calls during occasional lender-ignore mode.

Win-Win Deal Pen - not just an ordinary pen, the real estate investor uses this pen to sign win-win contracts, iron-clad partnership agreements and $50,000 promissory notes. This Win-Win Deal Pen comes equipped with built-in clock and stylus tip for use with the touch-screen PDA. As with all vital equipment the real estate investor demands the very best.

Connections Notepad - even in this digital age a smart real estate investor understand the value of good-ol’ paper when it comes to quickly jotting down a sweet deal lead from a birddog or taking down vital contact info for an important connection while networking.

Digital Voice Recorder - real estate investor must record important conversations and negotiations for training purposes.

Minolta 2-Megapixel Digital Camera (not shown) - to take all the semi-staged and famous pictures.

Million Dollar Bill - for the real estate investor to stay focused.

No, it's Casey. He's been reading CaseyPedia (he deletes comments that link to it, and it's hard to ignore given that it's his #1 incoming link at the moment) and is trying to capture the valuable snarky demographic.

But really: he's run out of topics. Can't touch the wife and family any more (and I'll bet he got a rocket for the last post); the foreclosure dramas are over; the slow debt stuff is boring; poking fun at himself is a desperate attempt to find something, anything, to say to keep the traffic up and the advertisers happy. It sounds forced because it is.

The pissy comment reacting to the "jumped the shark" comments is pure Serin.

I would bet that this post was received as a comment from someone and Casey posted it as his own. Copying and pasting seems to be the only thing he is good at. Oh wait a minute - remember the cut and paste comment he made about acquiring gold - as a "hedge against the upcoming war?" What a lying little schmuck

I've been reading sercasey since last October, his style is unmistakable. He's never used phrases such as "Many a deal..." and "a stolen card can do no harm". These are phrases that are just not in his vocabulary. Not to be confused with phrases he doesn't understand like, telling the truth and paying back every dirty penny. This can't be him unless they've finally adjusted his meds.

The point of the post is comic relief. People take themselves way too seriously around here. Gotta relax a bit. Chill.

Also, many have been wondering what’s inside. So here you go.

The Foreclosure Friday Show

Not sure who will be on the upcoming Foreclosure Friday’s show. Still putting it together. Everybody is welcome to call-in of course.

I’ll try do less “interrupting and manipulating”. I don’t think I do much of that but a few people complained about it. Look guys, I gotta keep the flow going and can’t let people tie up the line for 30 minutes. Also, when people ask me a very vague question I like to ask clarifying questions. That’s all. Some people can’t handle it though. I’ll try to be more nice though.

On Duane LeGate

Aside from violating my privacy he pisses me off by criticizing me for making an honest buck or two from this website. Here I’m doing something good and I get all this hate from the guy who says “he has my best interest at heart”.

Still, I should be more courteous to people, hater or not. I feel kind of bad hanging up on him on the last episode after he started ripping into me again.

If Duane calls on the next show, I will take his call and give him a chance to talk a little.

Maybe he can explain to me how he paid off $700,000 of unsecured debt (so he claims) without any additional borrowing or doing any business and why he wasn’t willing to give me any actual hand-holding with my situation.

He only gave me unreasonable commands, like “call the lenders and negotiate payments” when I didn’t even have stable income to count on every month and don’t know what to tell the lenders. Like it’s that easy!

I have a lot more to say… I may do a whole post on this or save it till the show..

To everybody that keeps saying “I’m jumping the shark” with this post or the other.

WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE THEN??

Stop clogging up the comments and spreading your hate. Do I need to show you the door (err… the close button on the browser)?

Feel free to leave the blog and never return. It’s not like I’m holding you here or forcing to read this!

What?? You’re still here?

Then shut up and enjoy. There is plenty more to this story.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?

But, it's so much fun cutting up with you guys here I don't think I could resist... :)

I have the same phone (Sprint service, and my W2 employer pays for mine). Observations:

- He has voicemail that he has not listened to
- He has the ringer turned off (must be in lender avoidance mode)
- He has "no unread messages", so is either caught up on email (yeah, I know...) or doesn't use it for email
- He has "no upcoming appointments", so nothing scheduled in the next few days, or he doesn't use it for appointments.
- He has 21 (??) active tasks, and 81 (??) high priority tasks [hard to read the numbers].

Anonymous said...

@Lost Cause: Looks like techtard should have gotten the clustered MySQL package, too. He seems to have crashed his DB server... Either that or he screwed up what is a stupid simple process anyway.

Ha Ha Ha, you little liar, or at best half truth teller. Didn't Duane also tell you to get a job or at least do some regular contract "job" type work for him? Have you forgotten that part already? Also, I don't recall Duane saying it would be easy, but then you don't do hard work or difficult things do you?
Also, I'm not going THERE so often these days and you'll also find on the few occasions I do, I don't read your adverts as my browser is full of ad-blocking software.

GET A JOB DICKHEAD!!!

Anonymous said...

High priority tasks is probably 8 or 9, not 81.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, re: Duane... It seems to me like Duane was more than willing to help and tried hard to do so, but numbnuts™ didn't want to follow through and then posted confidential info on the blog (despite what he says). The relationship only lasted a month at most. And snowflake expects that Duane was going to teach him everything in that short of a time period?

Sorry, but I think Duane has the upper hand here. He's come clean about his story and given snowtard's record of truthiness, I think I'm gonna take DLG's word over his.

Anonymous said...

No jamba juice for you serin!

Don't worry - following the advice of the computer folks here I have blocked the ads and java script so that I may snatch posts from dickhead and run with them!!!

Did anyone notice Casey got his Google Adsense account back? How the heck did that happen? Google normally kicks you out for life if they ban you. With 300,000 visitors a month and his text link ads, he is probably raking in $4,000 to $5,000 a month!

Maybe he will be successful on the back of his failure. Now that he is foreclosed upon, why visit his damn site about being foreclosed upon? He's trying to pimp his site and is a complete viral marketer. What more can he say?

"Hello, my man purse got a new HELOC and I'm going to gamble it away in Tahoe. Click here to find out more..."

Or I'm noticing his new method of...

"Will G kick me to the curb for overdrafting $3 at Jamba Juice? Find out more from my sponsor, Judge Judy..."

At this point visiting his site is giving him more cash and he has run out of stuff. Fortunately by his declining traffic after the MSN article I'm glad the majority of readers agree.

Anonymous said...

There it was yesterday -- the most clearly reasoned post I have ever read, saying that e-mail becomes the recipient's property, and that Casey violated privacy with a post that led to his break up with Duane. And still today he cries -- it is in one ear, and out the other. There is just no help for the stupid.

Anonymous said...

@anonymous 1:21 - He only makes money on Google Ads and the in-text ads if people click on them. Don't click and he makes nothing.

He probably is using a different AdSense account or someone else's account to run Google ads. From what I understand, YSM generally pays more than AdSense. But, he did say at one point that they were holding something like $700 to review for click fraud.

He may or may not make a lot of money on his site. It won't be sustainable, though. There's no really useful info on the site.

Here's why: He's so damned self absorbed (NPD?) that he can't even begin to help anyone else. It's all about him. A "foreclosure help" site should focus on providing valuable user-oriented information. He's got nothing.

Yeah, the money counter is down because Casey got through last week by selling ads for the **month** on his blog. He doesn't have a clue how to get through the rest of the month - although I am sure he will argue to Galina that "succeeding" for a week or two should be enough - surely she didn't mean that he was going to have to earn $1000 a week indefinitely.

Don't worry Casey, I suspect that your dream of being free and being able to live in your car is a lot closer than you think...

That is dickhead's loophole - the contract was to have a grand on the table THAT friday. I am sure he manipulated G on that one. "See how easy it is to earn $1,000 my sweet little wifey? I can pull it outta my ass if I have to. Now lay off, shut up and let me sleep."

I have some "gold" I'd like to deposit in his "box" alright.

Anonymous said...

Typical Casey, instead of looking at the extra money as a windfall, he's going to only earn enough each week to keep his wife off his back.

Most rational people would go, "Wow, look at how much i made, over twice of what i targeted! I wanna do it again!"

No, our anti-hero decides that it's earned him a week of naps and googling for his name.

Yeah, we have the next Donald Trump here. No doubt.

Now, not to loose (tm) sight of the fact that it is only a TV show about Lawyers and I am not an attorney, the case was about e- mails and who owns them, and the "expectation of privacy".
The final gist of the decision by the Law and Order Judge? The E-mail belongs to the recipient and there is no expectation of privacy, just like any mail, letter or greeting card.

Historically, mail received is always the property of the receiver, not the sender. The very act of sending it mostly gives the recipient the priviledge of doing whatever they like with it. That is what makes possible these books you see entitled _Collected Letters of Casey Serin_.

Someone brought up email disclaimers. These things are mostly useless at keeping information from getting out. At best, they are only a polite request. They are not a contract, as a contract requires consideration (exchange of value). There is no amount of legalese you can append to an email that will can legally bind the recipient.

The solution to these problems is non-disclosure agreements. These have a nice synergistic effect with other law, like trade secret protection. If Casey didn’t want Duane to say something, he should have asked to enter an NDA before he negotiated.

From an ethics standpoint, note that Casey has shared the contents of many letters to him over the course of this blog. Some of these letters were somewhat embarassing, which resulted in a few of them being removed. Also note that the real nail in the coffin of Casey’s relationship with Duane was Casey’s sharing a particular sensitive peice of information on this blog that likely may have caused Duane significant financial distress.

So, I don’t think Casey really has a leg to stand on here criticizing Duane’s decision.

I thought this was worth cross posting here.

This analogy is extreme, I know, but the way Casey is obviously 'grinning' through his misdeeds (pen for 'iron clad deals' and linking to the PRLINKBIZ post) and sort of winking it all off is really unattractive and kind of disgusting- it reminds of, as has been mentioned, of the OJ book 'how I WOULD have done it'. Maybe worth noting that Casey's "cash on the kitchen table" picture shows more than $1000 -- the depth of field prevents an accurate count, but it looks like $2000-$2500 to me.

Which seems odd, given that the Agreement required only $1000 on the table.

I have the answer for everything wrong with dickhead!!!! He suffers from "micro penis" syndrome:

"The range of things that can go wrong in the external genitalia and the way the penis may look and function, is an area bound up with images of maleness (or femaleness). The penis is so central to sexuality and sexual satisfaction that it has even influenced medical treatment. Since the mid 1950s and until quite recently, a child with a micropenis would be surgically realigned to a female and hormones given to enhance that change.

Many would argue that the decision was underpinned by the idea that was essentially, culturally and socially led, that a man must have a ‘normal’ penis size to be a man. Size really did seem to matter."

Dickhead ain't sure what he is - hence the murse, highlights and overall girlishness!!!!!

I haven't visited IAFF for about 2 weeks. I tried today and all I found was a minefield of ads.

Is there still a blog underneath all that?

That is a looong ways away. We have dozens of worthy subjects. Greg Swann is back on his heels for one. KC is a play mouse but we eat raw meat. KC is just an early casualty. We can take continue to take down the weak for years.

I'm not thinking that is much fun. We still have the "how did we get here" issues to discuss. That's why I sneak in the transportation, technology and political bits. Case6y is a product of the true subject; dysfunctional social institutions.

Lost Cause,

Thanks for the compliments. My blog has varied in usefulness (and in level of updates) depending on what I've been doing and what I've had to say. There have been long periods when I was working hard and covered by NDAs that made it all but impossible to pass along my thoughts.

To your comments, I find it virtually impossible to not update my financials monthly anymore. At the very least, I have to reconcile my bank accounts with Quickbooks, and since I'm paying myself salary, I also have to do those annoying things like deal with taxes, withholding, quarterlies, etc. Once it's set up, it's kind of a breeze to do, and gives me a great benchmark for how well I'm doing. For me, the primary metric is always a simple one: Am I doing well enough as an independent to justify staying self-employed? Truth be told, I probably make a bit less than I would in a W-2 situation. For me, the flexibility and ability to choose the projects I want rather than having them assigned are worth the financial cost, but I like to keep track of it.

And as to the business plan, it doesn't change much, but I've been able to add new areas for focus and improvement. Since I'm mostly selling myself, much of my business plan is focused on skills development, networking and marketing to new niches.

Once again, thanks for the shoutout. Do you think Casey is ever going to notice that one of those entrepreneurs is not a great example of a great marriage, or is he just going to start name-dropping?

My wife says I'm quick enough already - I sure don't need to waste my hard earned money studying how to be quicker! And since you are paying yourself a salary, why don't you just hire a team to do that other stupid stuff you talked about - taxes, witholding, quarterlies? Or better yet - why even bother? Passive income means you don't have to do a damn thing - get with it man!

Oh yeah, read your plans for what you want to talk about Friday - glad you have that time to waste - I sure don't! Like I said, call me if you want to talk for a few minutes! I dictate what happens on my live at five buddy - not you!

@Joe Dirt,

In CaseyWorld, the $2200 (?) he "made" last week means he doesn't have to work this week.

In the RealWorld, we'd amortize the ad income over 4 weeks (and only claim 1 week's worth last week as 'earned income'), and/or bank it for a rainy day and be scrambling to make our $1K nut this week. [And, like Casey, I'll ignore the IRS -- for now...]

As you know, the discontinuity between CaseyWorld and RealWorld is what keeps us entertained and watching.

Week 3 will be tough for him, and week 4 unlikely. He'll of course have some of alternative universe spin to rationalize it.

Scott Edward Ashley, 40, of Canton Township, pleaded guilty to mortgage fraud in November.

He admitted to using bogus documents to fraudulently obtain about $3.8 million in loans, the U.S. Attorney's Office said in a news release.

Ashley was also ordered to pay about $1.7 million in restitution.

Theory: Casey knows his blog is almost dead, and he won't be able to keep the 1000/week for much longer. Therefore, he letting out more anger and thumbing his nose at his critics... after all, what he has to loose (tm), his readership and pageviews, will be gone anyhow in a couple weeks due to his 1000/week failure.

Whoever actually wrote the posting, Casey is enraged at the "jumped the shark" comments because he knows it's true - if he can't blog further about his marital troubles, he doesn't have a lot to blog about.

I think that's a reasonable theory. Unfortunately for KC, many/most of his critics have already left, and no longer read his trolls directly at IAFF.

Anonymous said...

I see Casey's posts through RSS. Since the connection is to feedburner.com I expect he doesn't get page hits from that.

I don't see any other decorations on the front page.

If Snowflake puts his weekly income earned back on his blog can somebody please post it, as I'm tracking the numbers. It looked all good until the end of last week; he had over-achieved. And then came Friday night's family feud, and the number disappeared, and so I have no idea whether he's claiming extra for last week or carrying the balance forward to this week.

Perhaps he's sleeping (except for masturbatory blogging about his murse). Perhaps he thinks the extra $1200 or so means he can sleep this whole week, and Saturday too.

Anonymous said...

Ah thanks anon @1:59pm ...

So sercasey is taking a week off because he overachieved last week.

No thought to using the extra cash to pay off some lenders. $1k could make a small dent in Cashcall. If he can make $2k again this week he can pay another $1k to Cashcall. And if he can keep it up, thus eliminating his Cashcall debt in 10, maybe 15 weeks (after Cashcall applies their 96% interest rate).

Once again Casey shows ... no interest in paying back any debt.

The outlook wasn't brilliant for the Murseville nine that day;
The score stood over -400 K, with but one inning more to play,
And when Nigel erased and fled, and some haterz did the same,
A pall-like silence fell upon the patrons of the game.

Then from five thousand screens and more there rose a lusty yell;
It rumbled through the valley, it rattled in the dell;
It pounded on the mountain and recoiled upon the bog,
For Casey, mighty Casey, was advancing to the blog.

There was ease in Casey's manner as he logged into his place;
There was pride in Casey's bearing and a smile lit Casey's face.
And when, running out of ideas, he opened up the murse,
No hater in the crowd could doubt Casey was beyond cursed.

Ten thousand eyes were on him as he bent to clean the pool.
Five thousand tongues clucked in scorn when he pulled Galina from her school.
EAch day as writhing creditors mailed a sea of red-letter slips,
Defiance flashed in Casey's eye, a sneer curled Casey's lips.

And how the sweet deals came hurtling through the air!
Yet Casey stood a-watching them in haughty grandeur there.
Close by the sturdy blogsman the last chances unheeded sped.
"That ain't my style," said Casey. "Pack and go!" Yulia said.

From the blogosphere, packed with eyeballs, there went up a muffled roar,
Like the beating of the storm-waves on a stern and distant shore;
"Kill her! Kill the sis-in-law!" shouted supporterz on the stand;
And it's likely they'd have killed her had not Casey raised his hand.

With a smile of Christian charity great Casey's visage shone;
He stilled the rising tumult; he bade the game go on;
He signaled to lenders, and once more the credit flew;
Ignoring the haterz in his home, The famiily warning him, "Strike two!"

"Fraud!" cried the maddened haterz, and echo answered "Fraud!"
But one scornful look from Casey and the audience was awed.
They saw his face grow stern and cold, they saw his muscles strain,
And they knew that Casey wouldn't let opportunity go by again.

The sneer has fled from Casey's lip, the teeth are clenched in hate;
He pounds with cruel violence upon the locked-up gate.
And now the little car is home, the dream realized at last,
And now now a homeless blogger he, wife a memory long past.

Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright,
The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light,
And somewhere men are laughing, and little children shout;
But there is no joy in Murseville:
MIGHTY CASEY HAS STRUCK OUT.

Casey no longer runs the blog. He is filtering out comments that point out his earnings with Google Adsense.

He is making money off this and has someone Ghostwriting his site.

1. He didn't post a few comments addressing how he got Google Adsense up.

2. He suddenly has a suspect domain host (whois it and look it up)

3. eCPM impressions are increasing with multiple page visits. All of a sudden this guy is a master SEO? Look at the meta on his site and it is professionally coded.

4. He is now raking hundreds a day that his site is properly monetized.

He is playing everyone the fool. As people flock to his site to laugh at his financial intelligence, he and whoever are behind his site are making some cash now.

The sweetest thing that could happen is folks simply ignore this person. An actor's worst nightmare is not being recognized.

I'm not exactly sure what you were referencing - and if it has anything to do with an interest in vintage, horror kitsch...

Whatever the case might be it sounds SWEET(tm) and along the lines of my imagined Serin film! Time for bed. I have a sunburn.

@anon 9:22: He suddenly has a suspect domain host (whois it and look it up)

GoDaddy? Same as it's ever been? Explain?

All of a sudden this guy is a master SEO? Look at the meta on his site and it is professionally coded.

He's had the meta description and keywords for as long as I've been reading IAFF. Nothing new.

We've been through the whole "Casey is being ghostwritten" / "Casey has sold the blog" flap before; it was nothing but fluff then, and I don't believe it now. It's still Casey at the wheel.

Holy shite. This guy takes more fracking vacations than normal working people who take care of their debts.

What a twit. Are we sure he isn't trolling us? If he is using the extra $1500 to vacation, he must assume he will magically make the extra appear for the other two weeks, right? If so, I have to then ask where he's getting the money and that would prove I was right on the call. I bet that he couldn't sustain it and we will win.

7:18 PM, Stephanie J.: That Casey thong image was horrifying.

I aim to please, my darling.

::wink::

PS, blame SpaceyCasey... he's/she's the one who suggested the Œuvre D'Art.

Rob... any chance we can get a new post? This one's a bit long in the tooth.

Can anybody say troll with his latest post? Who gives a shit what's in the damn MURSE (Casey, it's a purse for men get over yourself).

Not funny or amusing and further proof he has jumped the shark.

anon @ 9:45:

Click "other" instead of "anonymous", and type in whatever fake name you want to go by. That's what those of us who don't have accounts, or have accounts but can't be bothered to log, in do.

On that note, it's getting late. Time for some massive focused action.

How much you wanna bet there's a pipe and some chronic inside that Altoids tin?

Why hasn't Casey been arrested yet?

The guy flaunts the law AND profits from detailing his crimes???

WTF is with our law enforcement?

Hey guys

Could we setup a mirror of Casey's site so we could go there and take all the traffic away....?
Sounds good?

Yes.

Just two things.

1) Suggestion for theme song: "Fairy Cross the Mursey".

2) Rob @ 3:36. The quote should be attributed to Gertrude Stein, not Jane Jacobs.

And, as is obligatory for anyone posting a spelling correction or something similar, I murst inklude udder errors.

What's this about Snowflake and Cyclops-midget going on vacation?

Is this speculation or is there something to it?

(FYI - I am beginning day 5 of my IAFF boycott and refuse to go there and verify.)
