I like to think hater attention had something to do with thwarting the Hammar caper before the crime which serves a higher purpose. So, this picture was taken this afternoon in Chatham, Massachusetts. It seemed like a natural fit.

I certainly am glad we're not in America where there is due process. The scene of the crime was not the house but in the lenders office signing those papers. The only thign she's guilty of is believing her husband when he said everything was on the up and up and all the other fraudsters at the scaminars. She tried to help him, likely because she wanted to feel like she was supporting his plans.
There is no telling how much more we know from Casey than she knows from Casey.
It's obvious they have a screwed up marriage and he was never honest with her. If she didn't use the net that often, she may not know of how bad it really was. She left the finances and business to him and he lied to her over and over again.
From snowflakes admission, she didn't know until Febuary of this year just how much trouble they were in.
BUT, snowflake continues to think the next big deal is coming and he will pay it all off in one swat. She had to believe him to a degree, because he was her provider and assured her the next big check was coming any day now.

I think I feel for her more because I think of my wife when I think of her. My wife didn't know a thing about the real world because she was a daddy's girl and didn't need to. When she was 22-23 she depended on me to figure out our first mortgage and our first house completly. She was a bit nieve and didn't understand what being adult was about.
I think G might be the same. She's young, scared, and alone. She's been alone for a long time. Her husband isolated her, her parents kind of cut her off, and she was confused.
When you are young and in love, you want to prove the world wrong. You want to show everyone who doubted your love wrong. In her case, it's a big step to reach out for help even if the rest of us armchair quarterbacks feel we would have done so sooner.

I'm not a troll, and I have no idea what Duane, R-Boy, RobDawg, et al, know about, of or from Galina.
I believe they believe they have good reason to believe she's an innocent victim.
That doesn't mean, however, that the seemingly valid questions brought up are not ... valid questions. You guys can't answer them, either at the moment or at all, for various reasons. Which is fine. But the questions exist.
I think I'm pretty reasonable, and I'm not ascribing motive to anything or anyone (i.e. 'she's hot and has captured Duane with her wiles), because I have no idea and no reason to doubt the people talking who have, as they said, been forthright and honest.

I don't understand the school/work thing. I know plenty of Russians actually, and women working is more prevelant there than here. I don't know what's up with the credit cards. The Macy's one in particular. It was used for a couple hundred bucks as soon as it was opened. I don't know who used it, I don't know what was bought, but it makes me wonder.
I don't know what exactly to make of the stuff Casey has said about her saying he can pull money out of his ass, about her involvement in the seminars/planning etc. I don't know if she was innocently going along with him or what. I tend towards that it feels ... condescending to me to say she just naively went along, having no idea. And yeah, Casey lies as a matter of course. I don't know.
I don't know what she's doing now, or why she's doing it. I don't know her or her motives, feelings or history beyond what we can glean from Casey and stuff like the Duane meeting report.
As it is, I think there are too many open questions and too much that doesn't fit, for me personally to think she's innocent. Which I'm fine with people disagreeing with, but there i is. The only part I don't agree with is when it comes to fraud.
I personally know a LOT of innocenet people, good people who would do many stupid things, but Fraud would not be one of them, nor would they enable or be with someone who was doing fraud.

You may be correct about Galina not getting a W-2 job due to wanting to keep her disability benefits intact. But at this point, it's pure speculation she is even getting any SSI benefits and not an angle that has been supported by any evidence yet.
There is a process (interviews, medical tests, doctors' recommendations) that are needed before someone is put on SSI disability. It's probably not that hard to forge a doctor's note or make up a story when interviewed. But considering how many times they have moved, it's a pain in the ass to keep changing addresses. Even if she has the checks sent to the UPS Store in Roseville, the Sac County office is going to wonder why she now lives in Yolo County, and vice versa. Doable, but way too much effort in my opinion.

I would separate financial actions with actions such as Galina telling fliptard not to clean the pool. For instance, I may control the finances in the house, but my gf may and will opinions on day-to-day things. Hell, if fliptard dragged my down to Modesto and was considering cleaning an algae cesspool that I knew couldn't be cleaned in a day even with the neighbor's help, I'd tell fliptard to screw it and go home. I speculate that fliptard was only going down to Modesto for a photo op and have material for a few days worth of blog entries until his trip was exposed.
And remember, it would appear that Galina had started to take more control of the situation at home recently (re: contract). Though her involvement is still unknown to us (except for what Duane knows and cannot reveal).
Someone just brought up the fact that she was "abandoned" by her parents because she wanted to marry fliptard and he said he would take care of her.
Chew on this: Her parents live all of 3-4 blocks away from Yulia's. I do remember hearing of her staying overnight at her parents' house. She knows what her parents disapprove of fliptard, but she still wanted to stand by him and hope things would get better, and as kids do, prove that she didn't make the biggest mistake of her life. Some women are like that guys. Logic and common sense don't always kick in. I don't have any further information. I've said family simply because this is a close knit, religious group. I can't imagine a close family watching one of their own abandon their spouse and not have their feelings toward their son and brother change. I can't think that G's parents who live so close haven't been in contact with Casey's parents over this whole debacle. I never meant to imply there was a child involved, but I can't rule it out at this point since I don't know.

Not sure why. For those here protecting her, please understand that her husband has made her a public image. Yes, this is the same husband Galina has supported in more ways than none.

I am a firm believer that bad things happen to good people. When I met Casey, he said all the right things, he seemed genuine. I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. I started to have reservations and I dropped him quick. I kept in touch with hin from time to time... yes...
But every time I talked with him I counseled him to do things totally differenet than he did. Is he likable ? yes? Is he manipulative? more so than you could ever imagine. But Casey is what he is and now he will pay the price... for the people he manipulated too... they are on the same side of the cue ball as me... trust me when I say this...
I know Caseys kind... it took me a while to figure it out... but I know him...
So in the meantime.. you guys are bored.. you need fodder to get your fix.. and now the fix is Galina.

Your Mom must have a background in Real estate investment because most people just wouldn't know. I'm not writing this to incite anger or invite retribution.
Why won't people believe that the biggest critics know much more about business than average people?

If Casey had mentioned problems with lab results regarding his urine I would have been all over it...Bizness? Legality? Forget it!
I do give G. somewhat of a pass. Girls are often raised to be quiet and get along and it can take a lot of time to really get past that training and expectation.
It sounds to me like G. married before she'd ever been out on her own. This probably means she was used to Mommy and Daddy making most of the decisions in her life and supporting her. When she married Snowflake she probably didn't know that things can be different.
I look back at the woman I was at 24 and the woman I am now and I wonder how I managed to grow and change. For me 24 - 25 was a seminal year. Major personal change, a lot of personal growth, a realization that my life was MINE and I had to live it, not just go along with it.
So I look at G through the glasses of my own experience and feel some sympathy for her. She's going to have to grow up quick and do so with a lot of debt and personal baggage hanging over her head. The real question is can she grow beyond it, or will she let it cripple her for life.
I hope, with all my heart, that she grows beyond it and makes the (admittedly hard) changes she needs to make in order to move on. To be honest, I actually hope the same things for Snowflake, but I don't hold out a lot of hope that he'll actually end up being anything other than a con man.

However, the fact that several people here are too stupid to read between the lines of what has already been posted here have driven me to comment. [mejustme and Galina Serin Innocent? I'm talking to you among others] So, I'd like to start with the following bit of text:

Just because fliptard is a citizen, it does not mean that Galina is a citizen. It is possible that she cannot legally have a job if her immigration status prevents it, much like the Australian Goverment [theoretically] does not allow for people on a vacation visa to work while in Australia. She would however be able to find house cleaning work, much like fliptard is able to thumb his nose at the Aussie government by "working."
I'm off to find something to do or drink to help lessen the impact of the stupidity "mejustme," "Galina Serin Innocent?" and all the rest of the people who have kept harping on the job thing since the 9:29 time stamp in the quoted comment. I'd say it's hard to believe that anyone could be that thick, but fliptard himself has demonstrated to the contrary.

Need A New Place in Australia (and Maybe Overseas)
My stay with my current Australian host is coming to an end this week due to some complications. So I figure I take advantage of some recent exposure in Sydney Morning Herald (and Argentina) and ask.
Can somebody offer me a place to stay so I can finish up some stuff here in Australia?
Preferably on the east coast: Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne. But I’ll consider other areas. “Beggars can’t be Choosers” right? Some help with travel expenses would be much appreciated as well.
Also, thank you to those who offered me a place in other countries. I may or may not take advantage of it. I’m kind of taking it one day at a time. I WILL consider all the offers though.

There are people in this life who are kind and want to help other people. But you wouldn't understand such a thing, it takes being a little selfless, some actual thinking, and not simply reacting.

You have to help, start by visiting your local churches, hospitals and charity clubs in your area.
